HORRIBLE! I have gone here for years and last Saturday night I went to a 7pm showing of Annabelle. Well I enjoyed what I could see of the movie. There was a large group of young "adults" and I use that term loosely! They were getting up and down throughout the movie, talking to each other loud enough that the entire theatre could hear. They had their cell phones ringing. Completely disrespectful! The manager came in twice and did NOTHING. The movie should have been stopped and all of these little jagoffs escorted out. The manager gave us a free movie for our next visit by writing his name on the back of our ticket stub. You know what I dont think I will be going back. Get a set of balls and take control of your theatre!

By far THEE WORST MOVIE THEATER I EVER BEEN TO. The staff was under experience, we walked in the actual theater and it smelled like Piss. The seats were dirty and my family and I were itching during the whole time we were there, and we still are afterwards.smh They might have bed bugs or something. We actually left mid of the movie due to the uncomfortably. A waste of $30 and I WILL NEVER EVER GO there or tell anyone to go there in my life. Not to mention the popcorn tasted like cigarettes. I feel sorry for whoever owns this place. Ill be surprised if you guys are open for another year. I wish I could give them NO STARS.

The Waterworks Cinema is NO longer an enjoyable MOVIE going experience! The popcorn is old, stale & not ateable! The boxed Candys probably older than the popcorn! The pop is NOT always cold, or maybe TOO MUCH ice & NOT enuff soda! The area around the theatre is NOT as SAFE as it used to be! The audience is usually TOO NOISY & NOT considerate when the movies playing! It isnt FUN going there anymore, & ANY & ALL complaints are COMPLETELY IGNORED by the Staff & Management!! My Family & i travel to the PITTSBURGH MILLS!! BETTER SELECTION of everything, Including the Movies!!!

Be sure to call to verify start times on movies. Waterworks Cinema is part of GoldenStar. Today i checked online and it said the first showing for the movie I wanted to see was 2:20 pm. The daily paper said 10:55 am, so I called and was told the first showing was 12:00 noon. The girl told me to always check GoldenStar because the paper and the Waterworks Cinema inernet site get it wrong all the time but she did not say where they get their information from. Glad I checked or I would not have been happy to show up for 10:55 and find out i had an hour to wait.

The staff at the waterworks cinema were wonderful. The ticket seller was friendly, attentive and answered questions. Concession staff as well. We were escorted and instructed about the new totally comfortable seats by a most pleasant young man. Best customer service Ive had in a long time. Kudos to management for having and training great staff. Thank you to the workers who carry it out so well. Above and beyond most places.

Yo the top shelf package or VIP package is u believable! The recliners up top shows Lowes keeps it 100....Popcorn is #1 around the burgh ask around! I had a valintines day date with my gf dinner & a movie that was private I got the table preset with flowers candles gifts and personalized letter pre requested. with no hassle or fuss just happy people all the way around

This is my favorite theater in the region. They recently remodeled their theaters to have luxury recliners and assigned seating. Ticket prices are similar to other theaters. All movies on Mondays are $6.25, and include a free small popcorn. Just be sure to get your tickets in advance!

I have had good experiences here most of the time. I like the Monday discounts with free popcorn for any show all day and it is only $5.00. Cant beat that price. There are always difficult people but, it is best to try to have fun anyway. They are nice to me so I keep going back.

-employees are super friendly and helpful -employees get the job done quickly so I dont have to spend 20 minutes waiting for a ticket -theaters themselves have been redecorated (new carpeting, new chairs, etc.) and are now kept very clean {unlike past years}

Went on a Monday when tickets were only $6 and popcorn was $3 for all sizes. Sat in leather recliners. It was the least amount of money Ive paid for a movie with popcorn in years for the best seating. Will be going to the movies on Mondays much more often.

Watching movies here is very unsatisfying: when the air-handling system (air-conditioning) trips "on" the noise covers (cancelled out) any soft dialogue, spoiling the experience! We saw "Free State of Jones" July 4th - missed MUCH of the dialogue!

They have those fantastic luxury seats. Huge recliner seats, big enough to curl up in, foot rest and everything. You get to choose your seat when you buy your ticket. Also, the theater is almost never crowded. Highly recommend!

The addition of recliners and assigned seats is great BUT I wont give a five star rating until this theater ads racks for bicycle parking and removes the "no bikes" sign near the entrance. Get with the now, Waterworks.

Walked my ass down here at 9:30 in the damn morning to see a sold out movie, and the power was out. Owner only offered awkward small talk and i have yet to recieve a refund. Sadly no negative stars option.
