Things have changed, and not for the best, first its not cheap a movie is about 12.75$,during the weekend which are their busy days they still refuse to open the second food concession a lot of time I gave up and get out of the line it is more important for me to see the movie from the begining than to wait for a not so hot dog ,most especially when I paid close to 13 bucks to see that movie the restroom while not bio hazard filthy are not that clean and sometimes could use serious improvement, the same goes for the 2 condiments stations by the food concession. The soda machine are often out of order(most likely need to have the syrup replaced)but nobody is there to fix it,now the good things, the seating is great,I like the way the seat are arranged, they are also comfortables ,another good thing is the fact that if you are going to see a movie in the morning before noon you only pay 6.75$,alas it looks like its a thing from the past I was looking at their show schedule this week and strangely enough no movies are playing before noon, which mean no more movie on the cheap,I rated that movie theater 3 stars because of the fact that it got 24 room ,so it will be hard for you to go over there and not find one movie you want see,the stadium seating is great and personally never really have any troubles with any of the employees over there, plus most of the time when I used to go to the movie early in the morning the restroom were clean,my feeling is a lot of the issue in that movie theater could be fixed if only they had more people working there, they could hire some people part time on the weekend,so they could finally open that 2food concession for example, sad thing its the same everywhere, when you used to go to public or win Dixie you saw 10 registers open, now you only see3 or4,if they had afew more employees the customers experience could be so much better, but who cares about customer satisfaction nowadays, since there is no longer independents movie theater ,truth is you have to deal with the big corporations if you want to see a picture and they know it so why should they try hard to get your money when its coming their way anyways?

Cashier swiped my gift card for $10 then still charged by debit card the full amount of the transaction. When I questioned the total on the receipt which showed no proof that a gift card was used she said oh thats just the transaction total. Lo and behold the full amount came off the card. My bf went to take back the mozzarella sticks i bought as they were out of marinera sauce and he didnt want it and to ask about the total charged to the card. About ten mins after he text me to come to the counter saying the cashier said she didnt take any gift card for the night. After I came the manager was already trying to assist him then she went and brought the gift card to him. The managers were giving us $7 off our total purchase even with returning the mozzarella sticks which is about $6 so $2 off really. So my bf asked ok what about us missing the movie for having to deal with this and then taking so long with it because the cashier was being untruthful, he apologised for it, so we returned all the food and requested the full refund for the food and also went to get a refund on the tickets because we already missed a good bit of the movie that are expensive within themselves. This whole experience proved dishonesty and lack of customer service for the staff at amc we encountered. First time in all my years going to amc theatres and received such horrible treatment. Very disappointing!

I used to come to this theater because it was the closest regular-priced one near me. I came in on Thursday, Feb 9, 2016, for a 3D screening of the Lego Batman Movie. The lobby, halls, and theater are very dirty and not well maintained, and the 3D presentation quality was terrible. When the 3D trailers started playing, I alerted the staff that the image was still double with the glasses on. They somewhat fixed that a few minutes into the film itself, yet there was still a significant amount of ghosting either far away from or up close to the camera. I went up to the front desk to inquire about this, and they said the image looked fine. Heres my two cents: not every digital 3D presentation I have seen looked this bad; its just the poor calibration of the images on the screen. Even when I saw Doctor Strange in 3D three months ago, this problem didnt exist. At least for this show, they refunded my money for the inconvenience. If you care about cleanliness and a quality presentation, stay far away from this cinema! Im not sure if Ill ever return to this AMC, as the nearby iPic is too expensive for even a matinee, and other first-run theaters are a bit of a drive.

Ive been a stubs member for years and Ive always loved it. The prices kept going up, but to me it was okay. Eventually the maintenance of the theaters started getting lazy. I would renew my membership, go once or twice a month, and spend about $50 dollars each visit thinking that maybe its not that bad. After visiting other theater chains I realized how crappy the seating and the staffing at AMC is, but at least AMC has those yum amazing movie nachos which are my favorite.... I went last week and the cheese was out and the soda was hot. I come back today and now the nachos have a really crappy salsa and the worst Tostitos cheese sauce. The consesion was empty and all the good candy was gone (it was 7pm on a Saturday. How could they not have enough stock for the weekend?)They ruined the movie nachos.... and Ive run out of reasons as to why I should keep going there. Im not planning on renewing again. Overpriced like crazy for what a crappy place that it has become. I really miss the good nacho cheese lol. I know it sounds super silly, but after the build up of bad experiences it really was the last draw; the deal breaker.

I must write this review which will be followed up with a strong complaint email to AMC Aventura Theatre Management after going to see a movie last night. This theatre is located in the heart of Aventura, serving a bustling upscale community. Ive been to many movie theaters in my lifetime, and I would rate this one as the absolute WORST in cleanliness, service, and efficiency! This theatre should be the pinnacle of Aventura Malls entertainment center, and yet it is DISGUSTING from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The concession stands look like world war 3, the butter area is slimy and slippery...can you say health hazard??? The service is lackluster and mimics a snail race...the bathrooms dont have paper and smell dirty. The entire climate is way below what you would expect in a top notch movie theatre where ticket prices range from $11-16 per person! People talk, text, and disrupt movies and no one says anything! HORRIBLE experience! I sat in NEEDED AND THE HEALTH dept should be called on this theatre.

I Went to this movie theatre on Sunday to see Bad moms ONLY because where I usually go, AMC CORAL RIDGE was completely sold out. THIS WAS A MAJOR MISTAKE. The workers (except for one young man by the food counter was helpful) The young lady at the front (Taking the tickets) was one of the obnoxiously rude people ever! The food menu is NOTHING LIKE coral ridge, the seats were uncomfortably I was almost sitting on top of the stranger next to me, no assigned seats so people are just coming in and out of your row looking for a place to sit, just one of the most poorly ran establishments I have been to in years! It was dirty, reminded me of Skylake Malls old .99 cents movie theatre!!! I thought it would be over the top nice because it was in Aventura but it was the ratchetest place Ive been to. If AMC continues like this they are going to give themselves a really bad name when they are so much better in Coral Ridge... ugh... Im still disgusted and its Thursday FROM Sunday but THE ONLY THING THAT WAS GOOD was the movie. period.
