My niece passed away in the restroom next to the parking ramp and coat room. The problem I have with this is the whole hotel staff were told to lie about the employee who died in the same restroom approximately 7 days before my niece. There was nothing printed in the local paper about either young girls deaths. I just dont like the shadyness of the whole situation. Ive also heard of many deaths in the building from previous employees of the establishment. The owner pays the fine every month, rather than paying the percentage a person spends which is posted on the wall as you enter the gambling room. It is a smaller amount.

Tightest slots that i have ever played! 16 visits in 78 days, i have lost around $6500 and never won or left a slot mahine with more money than i put into it!!!??? Winegard Inc, Fun City, Catfish Bend Casino and Spa are all over priced, understaffed, cheaply built and brokedown facilities and services that only have one purpose ...... To empty your pockets and make the Wine gard family richer.

This is the most outdated hotel Ive stayed in in yrs! They have old beds that are over firm and it smells of must and cigarettes. The furniture, the bedding, everything is from back in the early 70s except the price. A continental breakfast is $9!!! This page is the worst. I have absolutely zero good things to say for this establishment. Trust me! Stay elsewhere! ..

Hotels were very clean. Great service. Received complimentary breakfast for both nights stay, very good. Husband and I stayed for our anniversary weekend and went to Boogaloo Cafe to watch the Iowa/Iowa State game, he got food poisoning. Not a great finish to an anniversary weekend. Would stay at hotel again but will NEVER eat there again. Food wasnt even impressive.

Really one of a kind here. Dont worry about your things here top notch security systems with a well organize team to boot. These slots pay out more often then they would like I feel that at Im sure it all comes back to the house in the long run while my kids play at fun city or Hucks Harbor . The food there is also quite nice if you got a pretty penny.

There are a lot of neat things to do besides gambling. But I do not recommend the restaurant. Very overpriced, and poorly prepared food. Friday night is crab legs and prime rib. The prime rib look like it had been on a diet all of its life, and the crab legs were extremely skinny an improperly cooked. All of this for the low price of $21.00.

i hope this casino run out of their business. They forced my wife to re-sign the form to ban herself out of casino against her will after they made mistakes on her paperwork. They robbed all the chips that she cased in. I believe they set everything up to rob our hard working money. I would love to see them get burn in hell....Suckers

Small place, but pays good.... Well OK, sometimes it pays good. Sometimes it dont pay at all. Its probably not fair to rate the place based on my profit/loss statement but odds are it rates somewhere between a 3 and a 4.

The Catfish Bend Casino is part of the Pzazz resort complex in Burlington. We were there on a weekday evening and the casino wasn’t terribly crowed. It was nice as casinos go and complements the resort complex well.

Went around midnight and roulette was closed. Blackjack tables were moderately full and $5 minimum, only a handful open. My buddy won around $70 from the slots though, so 3 stars.
