We played an early morning round in November and basically had the course to ourselves, which was great as we stopped multiple times to take pictures. This course has some amazing views on the back nine. There are multiple holes that are only a stones throw away from the ocean. The course itself was somewhat mediocre. The front nine is tight and was obviously designed to squeeze into the available space. The back nine has some better laid out holes, but still nothing too difficult. The fairways were cut long, however the greens were in great shape. For only $50, i consider this course a great value if not just for the views.

We played there several years ago. This is the poor mans Pebble Beach. A very well cared for municipal course and within everyones budget. The front nine through the hilly residential area has quite a few trees to negotiate. We also had to play around the deer that were feeding on the course! Back nine has some spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. If you go to the Monterey Peninsula, stop by Pebble Beach for the scenery, walk along the course for the pictures and play golf at Pacific Grove for the experience.

I havent played the course but wanted to chime in on the professionalism and value of Kurt Vogels instruction. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and identified very quickly a few drills I can practice to improve my game. I walked away with a better understanding of fundamentals and drills that I can use at any range at a fraction of the cost of other instruction in the area. And he told me he doesnt look at his watch, I didnt have anything pressing so we ended up going over an hour. Great value.

As a course I liked it.. Not great, but still enjoyed aspects of it. When I played the course; it seemed like it was pensioners day; it made for a very slow round.! Over 5 hours for the round!. I enjoyed the back nine so much more; some of the views are amazing. But the wind made for tough conditions. Shame they couldnt have packed in 18 holes by the sea and that they couldnt have speeded up play. Would I play again? Probably not as I wouldnt want to risk another teeth pullingly slow round.

風景優美,沿著海岸線打球非常心曠神怡,球場保養得宜,有許多野生動物倘佯在球道。果嶺費很便宜,球場附設餐廳餐點好吃,份量也夠。值得再來。

18 holes of excellent golf, with 9 of those holes being along the ocean? All for under $50 to walk??? Amazing! This course is a gem - quiet, peaceful, with plenty of challenge. Not a very long course even from the back, but with the incredible views theres no going wrong. Make sure you visit this course on your next visit to the Monterey Bay

전반 시작은 시원찮으나 점차 만만치 않으며 후반9홀은 아름다운 아실로마 비치를 만킥하며 난이도도 적당함,푸어맨스 페블비치가 맞음,

I love living here. Beautiful victorian, beachy houses. Lots of friendly people and pedestrians seem to be king which is great when you are walking but beware of tourists popping out in front of ya. ;) But really everyone is really nice its kind of odd but not enough to make me want to move.

Best back nine Ive played. An excellent value for this area service was friendly and conditions were good. Pace can be a bit slow (I still cant get with the California trend of five-somes) but really, when your in such a beautiful course is there ever a need to rush?

One of the friendliest and truly the most beautiful Golf course Ive ever had the pleasure to play. Im a Links member, next to my fifth divorce best money Ive ever spent. Hands down best deal on the Monterey Bay Peninsula.

Played here on Fathers day. Its a relatively short course, and starts out with a slew of par 3s. The views of the coast on the back 9 are spectacular but be prepared for a LOT of wind (thus 4 stars).

Amazing Golf Course in Pacific Grove. The first nine holes play through residential and the back nine are the most scenic playing along the coast. Loved it and the condition of the course.

It is safer to golf in Afghanistan than to golf here. You get incoming shells from both directions. People cannot help but to hit into you and it plays slow. Nice views but golf is no good.

Wonderful municipal golf course! Full 18 holes, par 72 course thats walkable but carts are available to rent too. Dont let the easy going façade fool you, its a challenging course for sure.

Great price point with an awesome back 9. Good food and nice beer selection(for a golf course). Probably more of a 4.5 than a 5 due to the lackluster front 9, but deserves better than a 4.

Excellent public course , play this instead of pebble beach and buy yourself something nice with the money you saved. Back 9 is spectacular, front standard nice course.

the best value on the monterey peninsula. the course has both city and ocean holes. the ocean holes are what bring you to the course. the price keeps you coming back.

Great local course. Lots of history here. They really should do something about the 18th finishing hole because it detracts from the rest of the course.

Really fun course and a great value. I liked that each 9 had a distinct feel to it. On a sunny day, the ocean side is spectacular.

What a great course. You will see deer on the front 9 and the you see nothing but great views of the ocean on the back 9.

One of the best public golf courses in the world. The views of the back 9 are second only to Pebble Beach.

Most of the course is in the back yard of a crappy neighborhood, not ocean views like it shows.

Called the Poor Mans Pebble Beach, it is the best golf links on the peninsula for the price.
