This is my first time being so displeased with a place that I have left a review. I almost didnt but after a 3 day wait, I truly want to save people the hassle. This review does not apply to parents taking their children here, but only to teens/adults looking to have a good time doing more than your average flips (doubles, gainers, etc). First off, my friends and I kept our socks on to avoid any bare contact with the trampolines and foam pit, only to be asked to take them off. This was reasonable and we certainly obliged. Second, we had just bought a GoPro Hero 5 to record some shots at the establishment, only to have a staff member come tell us that cameras are a safety issue and cannot be used while on the trampolines. Then, we head over to the foam pits only to have the staff state that we cannot perform doubles of any kind, no gainers, and not even a backflip into the foam pit. This was picking at my remaining straws. Afterwards, we went onto the trampolines once more. At this time, there was just my friends and I on one side minding our own business. One of my friends became tired and sat for a brief second only to have the staff member come once again to tell him that there was no sitting on the trampoline. This is completely understand if there were people waiting to use the trampoline but this place was very empty at the time. This already made us very upset but we swallowed it all and still tried to have fun considering we paid for two hours and we only used 45 minutes so far. Then, the last straw was finally ripped from my hand and broken into pieces when I was running from one trampoline to the other to perform a trick, only to have a staff member come up and state that there is absolutely no running allowed on the trampolines. I went to Sky High back in 2008 and had an absolutely amazing time. You sign a waiver and trick at your own risk. It was very fun back then. When I walked up to the door and saw the sign at Sky High that said "under new ownership" I didnt think much of it. Now, I can honestly say that this place has left me the most dissatisfied an establishment has ever left me. My friends and I went and demanded our last hour refunded and were pleased and shocked they actually refunded the full last hour back. If you are looking to have a great time, this is not the place to go. Honestly.

This place was great and bad, and the bad can be fixed - I sure hope they do so. From the get-go there were problems. I wait ten or fifteen minutes in a line to pay and get in only to be told that I had to sign a digital waiver by the front door, and that there was clear signage indicating this needed to be done. Three other families were told the same thing, so no, there was no clear sign instructing anyone to sign anything. There was a very unclear sign saying we had the option of doing so, but no. And, the woman told me, I would have to wait in the fifteen minute line again. Two of the three signing stations were out of commission, which is ridiculous. The family using the one working station were computer illiterate, or the station was also broken, and no one was there to help. I forced my way up to the pay counter again and demanded help, I was given a paper waiver "just this once." Seriously? You cant get your act together and youre talking to me in that tone? Im also informed that their "Toddler Monday" has arbitrarily been canceled and the safe space i was expecting is overrun with kids of all ages unattended by their parents who are accidentally and purposefully cutting in line and, in general, not being toddlers. Inside the place is pretty great. Cavernous, nice building. Warm. The kids play structure is pretty nice, not so great an example of the type because its only climbable by kids who are probably 3 or 4. But whatever. The play area is nice. The jumping areas are nice too. But: You arent allowed to wear shoes on the trampolines. The bathrooms were foul with water and urine, I watched barefoot boys walking right through it. How gross. I noticed some of the seasoned veterans had some sort of flip-flops. Do that. But know that bare urine feet are being tracked everywhere. Oh, and the snack bar is good and cheap!

We had an awful experience at this place. We brought our children to play in the new adventureland. When we got there, we had the whole area to ourselves. The posted rules state for parents to "use caution" on the play equipment, and not to go down the slide with the child on your lap. I started to go in with my daughter, and an employee yelled from across the building that parents are not allowed in, except to get their kids out. Wouldve been nice if the girl who took our admission told us that in the first place, when we told her that was what we intended to do. Also would be nice if the posted rules were accurate. Also would be nice if an employee would approach discreetly instead of shouting across the building. In addition to this, it was ROASTING hot in there. No a/c and no fans running. (Although we did notice a nice big fan behind the counter keeping the employees cool). The thermostat on the wall indicated over 80 degrees. I complained to an employee about the heat and was told there was nothing they could do. About an hour later, as we were leaving, the same employee finally turned on a huge fan pointed at the area. Wouldve been nice if he had turned that on when I asked about the heat. Overall, not a very customer service oriented staff. We came ask the way from Vancouver to try this place and were very dissapointed by the experience.

4/6/13 UPDATE to my review posted below: I want to thank their Regional Manager for his sincere, personal apology for the poor customer service I received at from the employee described below and for the disciplinary action he is taking in this matter. He promised me that excellent customer service is key to their operation, and I will consider giving them another try. I had the most publicly humiliating experience thanks to one of the staff at Sky High. I jumped into the foam pit and couldnt climb out on my own. I asked for assistance and he said he couldnt touch customers. He gave me a futile suggestion to pile up as many foam blocks under my feet and climb out. My children and many bystanders watched me struggle for five minutes as he laughed and snickered at me, though he tried to cover his face to hide his enjoyment. Finally, after I asked for help again, and no one could jump while I was struggling, he said, "What, you have no one her to help you?" I got upset and told him he should have suggested that I could ask someone else for help as soon as I asked him for help. My son had to pull me out, and I immediately complained to his manager for the humiliation and his insensitivity. Fortunately I got my money back for the family pass I purchased that day. I will never be back.
