Man, these folks really made sure to show us a good time! The venue is super clean and new. The room we had "the Sherlock room" was pretty stellar. At first glance you kind of think... "hm, kinda plain", but then as soon as it begins you forget youre in a finished out space in NW industrial and are IN this world theyve created for you. There are more things hidden, cleverly disguised and tucked away than you can even imagine! What seemed a bit underwhelming at first is certainly much more than you think. Get ready! They give you some life lines if you really want to use them but trust me, its hard enough you may need them! Theyre trained staff is there literally in tune with every step of your adventure so they know what youve misses and can help in some very clever ways. And for the price of a 1 room adventure I say bring 4 to 6 friends and make it super affordable! Besides, we quickly figured out that if there were only 1 or 2 of us there would be no way wed get out of there alive! There is SO much thought put into the process of clues and trails. Try something different and have some fun with your friends that isnt just hangout out or going for happy hour. Enjoy some adventure!

The start time of the Portlandia room would not have worked for our schedule, but the gal was happy to change the time over the phone for us! We were kind of bummed when we saw that a party of five had also signed up for our time as we wanted this to be a fun family experience. In the end, we were so thankful for our new friends as the puzzles were challenging and numerous and I dont think we would have gotten out without their help! A lot of the puzzles were combination lock based, but there were enough puzzles of other variety and surprised thrown in to keep things interesting. Ill definitely be returning to experience their other rooms!

This place is pretty awesome! I did the Portlandia Room with a group of four other friends. It was a really well put-together room, with fun puzzles and unique locks that went beyond the standard padlock or code combination. Definitely worth the ticket price because even though you only get an hour to try and "get out," you will be talking about it for a long time afterwards. I suggest you check out their Portland Brewing package; this is a great brewery nearby where you can go over the details after you break out (or not!).

My husband and I were looking up "games" in Portland and came across Escape Games PDX. We called and asked if they had any openings and they said we could join another group in a couple of hours. We came in and met the game master who was very nice (and had cool glasses). We had a fantastic time trying to figure out the puzzles and although we didnt get through, it was way worth it to try. Oh, and we got beautiful key bottle openers for liking their page on Facebook. Great choice for our Portland vacation!!

Very fun and interesting. This was my first time in a puzzle room and it was more difficult than I expected. I worked together with my team to uncover clues, find codes, make connections, and solves puzzles. There were many "ah-huh" moments when things just clicked. We did the Prison break room. I was surprised to begin my game wearing real handcuffs and locked into a cell! The hour time limit just flew by! This is a fun challenge for a group of friends!

Went with a group of coworkers for a team building event. Played the Portlandia puzzle with 7 people. Had a blast figuring out the clues, everyone solved something and there was a lot of teamwork. There were a few glitches but they quickly fixed them and gave us back some time. Made it out with less than 2 minutes to spare. We would not have made it with less people. Overall a great time, will be back!

Fortunate to have escaped with my memory! After conquering Amnesia I left longing to try their other escape rooms! Their non-linear puzzles and immersive sets kept all of us in the game engaged and stimulated. Dont forget to ask about the keys hanging up at the front desk on your way out!

We did the Sherlock Holmes themed room and had a wonderful time. Weve done several rooms in the Portland area and this one ranks in the top three for our group. The atmosphere was one of the best and some of the most creative puzzles. We will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

We went to Escape Games PDX to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a really fun time in the Portlandia room. It was very well done, and even though we didnt fully escape in time, we were so close and enjoyed it very much. Staff was great to work with. Will definitely go back.

What a kick! I went to their Sherlock Holmes room with some friends and family. We barely solved the puzzle within the hour, and that was with some luck. Very challenging but lots to do for everyone in our group. I cant wait to try out one of the other rooms.

Well worth the $30! It was our 2nd time coming here and we broke out of the prison room with a few minutes to spare. Very cool theme and tricky clues. Not sure if we liked this one or the Sherlock Room better. We will be back to try out the others!

A most excellent adventure. The rooms are designed to be solved in parallel so you arent stuck with only a couple people actually solving the room and the rest wandering around. I had a great time and would definitely recommend to others!

I decided to try this at random and went with the Amnesia room. My only concern is that I feel like that particular room should max out at 4 people, but other than that I enjoyed every bit of the experience!

Weve done a few escape rooms now and this is probably the best yet. Creative premise, interesting clues, and good integration of technology to make the whole experience feel very professional and high-end.
