Avoid this place. See other reviews on Yelp. The employees are kids who are in way over their head. You pay your money and they can take your races away from you without refund or explanation. Another racer ran into me and the partially "bearded" employee admitted it but he pulled me off of the track in the second lap. The skinny smaller employee admitted he withheld the blue flag while I was racing. The blue flag is presented as a safety issue and an employee was letting his apparent emotional state affect the safety of the racers. My friends and I had not engaged the employees nor said anything to them. It was like the kids that run the place had their own little club and they resented the adults who were there having fun. There was no person of sufficient responsibility on site to even talk to about the employee issues. I dont usually write reviews, but after seeing other reviews where these kids are effectively taking customers money away as they did mine, I had to at least join the others who have had to deal with this.

Needed a new hobby. Love racing so I decided to start going to sykart fairly regularly. I love that you have to earn the faster karts. And I found the challenge to be very fair. Once I earned them, there was a very noticeable difference in my line. I cant imagine starting out in the 9s. Id have been a danger. I *have* noticed some shortness in a few of the employees from time to time. But its never been a big deal. Im not one to escalate a situation and that works well for me here. Just remember their number one goal is to make sure no one gets hurt. These karts arent toys. And they make sure you know that if they have to for everyones sake. You learn a lot here. The employees love sharing tips once they understand that your not just there to ram your friends into the wall with their property. No other place around that offers the same kind of high from seeing your time decrease. - MrRacoon

My son loves Sycart (even though he & nearly everyone else calls it Skycart). Haha! As a birthday gift, he took the mandatory training class for kids (video, verbal & follow the leader driving with an instructor) then got to race with other kids. He loved it. His eyes were smiling. Because it was his birthday week, he got to race again for free. Weekdays are cheaper to race than weekends. Headed back again today. Not the best activity for really small/young kids who cant reach the gas & brake pedals & arent strong enough to quickly turn the steering wheel to avoid walls & other drivers. My jock 11-year old son said that his arms & hands were sore & tired from steering. Probably not a great idea for <11 year olds. We didnt have any customer service issues. Enjoy!

PLEASE READ!! 4/20/16 Hello John, As a possible customer looking online trying to find a place to go for fun and entertainment it looks like this place is far from what Im looking for (sad to say considering you are one of the few places like this that shows up on Google). It is disappointing how review after review there seems to be the same problem which is customer service and from what it looks like nothing has changed. I just have one question John is the bearded guy still working there? Please post so everyone knows the answer. P.S For me to be your customer online reviews need to turn a complete 180. Good luck John it looks like you have allot of work to do.

Went just the other day and did not have a great experience at all. They had the "pros" practicing with us who were first timers to this and they kept getting angry at us when we werent going fast enough or got out of the way quick enough for the pros. Which the first time is ok yea but the second time they were just as rude, even the pros were out there pointing at people telling them who needed to be pulled over? Then the next group went and they werent even out there flagging people.? They even pulled one of my friends over for going to fast? Just a very rude group of employees and not a very fun time.

A friendly and competitive indoor racing facility. I went from a complete beginner to quite proficient, just took some serious racing. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to give pointers. I highly recommend coming on a week night to avoid the crowd you generally hit on weekends. Between the Enduro racing on Mondays and the twice yearly league races, this is an excellent place to hone your driving skills and learn some vehicle handling. Note: the racing is for time, not position. If you get enough proficient times, you can unlock the higher powered karts.

I wont lie, Im an avid K1 junky, but seeing as how the nearest one is too far away Id rather give my business to the smaller guys anyways. They have two levels of carts. 6 and 9 hp karts. You cant get into the 9 unless you make the qualify time for your weight class. Aside from this I really enjoyed my time here even though it was short. I will be coming back and making this my go to indoor karting spot.

The actual racing is a lot of fun, Sykarts puts a lot of effort into keeping their facilities clean and safe. And while most of the staff is fun, the red headed guy with a beard who is usually at the counter is a real jerk and lacks customer service skills. Really cliquey, a shame since once you get past him the other guys are pretty nice.

I had a great time here with some of my friends, super relaxed fun environment that looks like its great for big groups. The track was also fun but challenging and they had little extras like an arcade, pool table and tv to watch or play with between races. Definitely recommend for friends, a date night or a big group

Racing is fun. Red beard guy that "thinks" he is something special is not. I usually dont care about customer service; however, I believe in being courteous and civil to each other but this guy ruined the experience for me with his cocky, inattentive, brash attitude. Seriously I dont know how this guy still works there.

I called prior to driving for over 30 minutes one way to be told it would be an hour wait for me and my 2 boys. We get there and are informed that the boys have to do a speed limited race prior to us racing and it would be a two hour wait. Total waste of my time. Definitely wont go back there!!!

I was not very satisfied with it, I got stopped twice for not breaking enough, and another time for not letting people pass?! :( I was not bumping anybody. I mean its a race.. I wasnt driving crazy either. Not once in the hour I was there did I see anyone get stopped for the same reasons..

Maybe it was my time i went in but stoped by to book our spot for racing. Waited ten minutes just to talk to some one then was told we couldnt go ahead and pay for a spot for my friend who was on his way. Was there around four in the afternoon so maybe that was a bad time to go in.
