In the past month my family has done the Ritual Room and more recently Dr. Zs Lab. Both times were an absolute blast and we are completely hooked! As far as overall enjoyment, I would say the unanimous opinion was that Ritual Room was more enjoyable, but both experiences were wonderful. We were literally working on the last clue when we ran out of time on Ritual Room, but managed to finish the Lab with 5 minutes remaining. The storyline felt more cohesive with the Lab, but the Ritual Room had more ingenious puzzles and some interesting twists 2/3 through the room. I really like this company because you dont get grouped with random strangers. My one piece of advice: DONT WAIT TOO LONG TO ASK FOR A CLUE! This was our major downfall in not completing the Ritual Room. Anyway, we cant wait to try the other rooms offered by Escapism! Visited June 2016

This was one of the best escape rooms Ive done. Great little surprises and details. The set decor could be punched up about 20% to make for a more immersive experience but really no complaints. The puzzles are perfectly challenging and clever. The final touch is a lot of fun. Good luck escaping. We almost didnt make it out alive. I also experienced the Magicians Menagerie which was equally as fun and a bit different in regards to drama. I am so glad Portland has escape rooms now. Perfect activity for families or visiting friends and you will be talking it about for a long time afterwards. Now if only Portland had some kind of historical ingenious ARG like The Jejune Institute...

This is the third escape room by Escapism Portland Ive done (also escaped from Dr. Zylchovs Lab and Jungle Ransom), and this one for me was the most difficult of the three. It also has some of my favorite puzzles/clues out of the three! The puzzles/clues fit in perfectly with the theme. It really makes you feel like youre having to prove yourself to a secret society. If you have done an escape room before, I would wholeheartedly recommend it, but if this would be your first room I would suggest doing one of the others offered by Escapism Portland before coming to this one. It just seems like itd be too difficult for someone completely new to escape rooms.

Great experience for a first-timer. Went with a small group of friends and had the room to ourselves. From the very beginning you get a really rich and full experience of living the part, not just being shoved in to a place and locked in for an hour. Our host was excellent, he really played the part well and made you feel like you were living it first hand. Room was a bit challenging, but we did end up finishing with a couple minutes to spare. Highly recommend doing this if you get the chance, really makes you stop and think outside the box, while still having fun and being stressed out at the same time. :)

Had a blast with a group of four. Ill be trying more rooms from this company soon. As a side note, the location of this room is a bit off the beaten path and everyone in my group at some point kinda felt like we were going to be brutally murdered. Rest assured it is on the up and up as no one died.

We went to this as our second "Escape Room" experience and we found it to be more enjoyable than the first time because this one was more "linear" and hence easier to solve. We will be attempting another Escape Room in the near future. A fun group activity for family and friends.

The Escapism Ritual Room is a lot of fun and very challenging. We thoroughly enjoyed solving the puzzles and entering the secret society. This is a great time for friends, coworkers and families. Ive participated in the Escapism Jungle room as well. That was also a fun time.

Fantastic experience. The room is dripping with atmosphere, and there are plenty of puzzles and surprises to keep you guessing. Escapism PDX runs family friendly rooms, but I would recommend this for kids over 10. A group of 6-8 people is best for this room.

Great escape room. The puzzles werent too hard but were very creative. Ill just say that. The host was friendly and delightfully nerdy, which made it all the better. Just a bit hard to spot this place from the street...its like in an office park

Awesome place if youre looking for a group activity. We got there late and the operator kept the room open late just for us. We must have been entertaining for him to watch us struggle with the puzzles that long!

My first escape room with a bunch of coworkers on a corporate retreat. If you can get the group together and its at all your thing, youll love it. I wish we had taken a picture in those robes though.

An enjoyable escape room, with some very unique puzzles. This location provided a fantastic level of immersion, and the GMs commitment to staying in character was impressive.

I went with some friends. By far one of the funnest things Ive ever done. I would definitely recommend this. It was exciting and an incredible challenge.

Fun room. A bit challenging to get going, but it comes together nicely once youre on a roll. I like how the story carries over to their other room.

It wasnt bad, but the puzzles werent intuitive and we definitely didnt have enough people to solve the problems.

Had a blast. Would definitely suggest it. Bring a big group though. Youll need the extra help.
