The Staff has no communication between divisions. I had my two dogs with me, so I was waiting for my pet friendly room. I kept checking in with the Front Desk to see if my room was ready. They kept telling me it was not ready. I finally walked over to my room and asked the Housekeeper when my room would be ready. She said it had been cleaned for over an hour. I had to sit in my car and wait for my room as my dogs were in the car. If I had not walked over and sorted the problem out, I could have sat in my car for another hour or two. When I got into the room, I went to hang my shirts up and found that all but two of the hangers had something sticky all over them. I was forced to lay my shirts on the side of my bed. After unpacking everything, I tried to turn the TV on for the dogs as I was heading to the casino. The TV did not work. I tried to call the Front Desk and it took me a minute to figure out that the phone was not working because the button was stuck down in the receiver cradle. I had to hit the button hard several times to get it to release. The front desk told me the TV service was not working due to the weather. I said if all of the TV service was out due to the weather, it was no big deal as it was unavoidable. However, since I did not trust that the Front Desk knew what was going on, I asked a Housekeeper to try the TV in the room that she was cleaning. The TV came on without problem even though it was in a room two doors down from my room. I called the Front Desk (after messing with the phone again to make it work) and asked them to send maintenance. The arrived and told me that this was a problem with Directv. They said that they had the same complaint from this room the day before. Since the Hotel knew the TV didnt work, why wouldnt they tell me that when signing in? I would not have accepted that room. I contacted the Front Desk again and told them that the TV had nothing to do with the weather as they had told me. They told me I could move to the one other pet friendly room that they had available. It took me twenty minutes to unpack everything and now they wanted me to pack everything back up, move and unpack in another room. Not to mention that my dogs had just gotten settled in that room. Now I would have to go through the whole process of them exploring a new room and getting over whatever fears they have of this new room before I could go to the casino. I contacted a manager of the overall facility. I told her how unimpressed I was with the personnel and the room. I showed her the large amount of cash that I had brought and explained that I was considering gambling at 7 Feathers instead of Reno. However, there were so many hassles in such a short period of time, I decided to cancel my reservation and drive home that night. I said I just wanted to show her the amount of cash that I had brought so she would know that I am the type of gambler that casinos try to get and keep. I told her that when I go to Reno, I am comped a suite for as long I want to stay. All meals are also comped as well as most activities. I told her this was the one chance 7 Feathers had to win my business. She asked me to give her a few minutes. She said she would make this right. I waited for about 5 or 10 minutes. When she came back, she said they had a cancellation in a pet friendly room so I actually had two rooms to choose from. I laughed and said I was leaving. I packed up my belongings, loaded them and my dogs into my vehicle and left 7 Feathers in my rearview mirror. Take my advice and spend the extra travel time and take your business to Reno or fly to Las Vegas.

On our way back to Portland, my girlfriend and I felt a bit tired and hungry. We decided to check to see if they have any rooms available during labor day weekend. They were all booked and was told they have vacancy in the Riverside location. The person made it sound good and even added that they had a 24hr shuttle service to take us back and forth from the casino. The shuttle service took over 15 minutes to pick us up, the place looks like an old run down motel. The room was ok and had a couple of flies flying around which I had to swat them. The bathroom had an old stench, wifi connection was terrible in my room and the phone isnt connected to the main hotel so I had dial the outside number. Took a shower... it loses pressure whenever the sink gets turned on or a neighbor uses their water. We ate, hang out for a bit, then drove back to our room. What bothered me the most was, all night, I tossed and turned itching all over. Finally, I said screw it lets leave. Took a shower trying to wash off whatever that is biting me. Suddenly, it loses pressure to the point where its only dripping. We left about 7:30. They asked about my stay and offered a $10 gift card for me to at least get some starbucks coffee on my way back home. I wouldnt recommend staying at the Riverside location. If I had known there is a holiday inn across I-5, I would had checked it out.

I am a member and go up from time to time and for the first time I stayed the night. Staff was unpleasant, the charged 2 cards. one was called in. My son purchased the room for me for my birthday. Card was not present, so I had to use my debit. Room had a bad smell to it. My wife and I will never stay again. I normally do not write reviews, but I read them and I say how can you have a bad time. As I always have a good one, but this time was not. Since this weekend I have really been turned off to this place and have shared with friends how bad it really was. I will next time go to the coast and stay at that one. The staff has always been great. Seven Feathers staff needs to treat us like they would want to be treated. I understand I am only there for a short time and you are there all day, but I am up there to have a good time and really didnt want staff treat me like take it or leave it. To the lady who treated me poorly I hope when you go somewhere you get treated like you treated me. I am not perfect, I was upset I had to use my debit card, but as soon as she knew I was upset she got defensive and treated me bad. One lady there tried to help and make my stay better and to her I say thank you! You know who you are! I am not saying to not stay here, but I am saying I will never stay there again and thats a shame.
