I was in NOVA for a few days and wanted to golf at some nice courses that didnt cost an arm and a leg. I noticed on the map a few courses along the Potomac, which Algonkian is. Great course in great condition. Front nine is pretty normal and standard while the back 9 adds some challenges. I was put with 2 other singles on the front 9 and they kept reminding me to make sure any snacks or other food were gone by the back 9 because of the fox. Sure enough, I come over the hill on 11 and out runs the fox. Dont be alarmed. Its kind of like a friendly dog. Its not scared of you and you shouldnt be of it either. Aside from the fox I counted 61 deer. GREAT COURSE!

WE love this park and we enjoy having our Company party at the pavilion. Its a great space that offers something for everone. Clean and beautiful. We have also rented their club house party room and that was really nice too

Great course. So much wildlife to enjoy while golfing. You cannot golf here without seeing at least 10 deer. Course is not very well taken care of, but well worth the price. Twilight prices are outstanding.
