We had this restaurant recommended to us by an employee. So we looked forward to what was sure to be an enjoyable meal. The waitress we had was brand new and very sweet. We ordered the mini burger meal on the childrens menu and 3 adult meals. While we waited on the food, my mother went up to the bar to purchase pull tabs. The bartender told her she would be with her in just a minute. My mom waited at the bar for 15 minutes while the bartender wiped a counter. As we still did not have our food when we finally got our pull tabs, my mom went back to buy more pull tabs with our winnings and an additional $10. This time the bartender did not even aknowledge my mom. Mom finally gave up and came back to the table to ask my brother for help. Finally got our pull tabs and lunches. The childrens "mini burgers" did not come with fries, which was sort of a shock but not a huge deal. The waitress told us she was surprised too, and would bring fries out for my daughter. Everything else was diner-esque. When our bill came, I noticed that we had been charged for the more expensive "sliders" appetizer. And for a side of fries. We brought this to our servers attention, and she took it to the bartender. The bartender came over to my mom and said that she must have known that the childrens "mini burgers" meal would only have one burger and that there was nothing she would do to fix the bill. This is where I lost my temper. I told the bartender that since the menu says BURGERS, there was no way we would assume it was ONE burger. She finally fixed the sliders to the childrens meal, but kept the charge on for the fries. We relayed the story to the employee who recommended the place, and he was able to get our next meals comped (Very Nice, Thank You) through the floor manager. Upon return, about a month later... the sweet waitress had absorbed the bartenders attitude and it was yet another uncomfortable dining experience.

Ive been to the Royal a few times, as I live in the area and I go to casinos quite a bit. But I will NEVER come here again. Everytime Ive played the table games, everyone at the table myself included lost. Not just a little, lost basically every hand, after hand, after hand. I understand that it is "gambling", but when a dealer pulls 20s and 21s almost every hand, and not just one shoe, I think its a little ridiculous. On top of that I had to wait almost 15 minutes to get a drink, and the first time when I tried to buy pull tabs, the bartender told me it would be just a minute and shed be right back, and I stood there waiting while she wiped tables, stocked coasters, and chatted with her coworkers and customers. I would say out of every casino I have been to, every aspect of this one is bottom of the list from service to tables to atmosphere. The only thing I didnt have the courage to try was the food, so be my guest if you dare. But there is nothing "royal" about this place.

the closest casino to Monroe, I have to say my first experience was fun. lots of table games, good drinks, good food, and staff treated me like a regular. it was a great time, and I walked out with more then when I came in. I love the Texas Hold um table game, and they have all the favorites, blackjack, etc. and a large poker room to boot. and no smoking, so if you are tired of the ashtray smell of tulalip, try this.

I dont gamble I came for the restaraunt, because it was really late and they were open. Very bad service at the restaurant, I wanted to order something on the menu and they said that they dont have that, why is it on the menu then? Stay away from the restaurant, you have been warned. Meat in the Pho was still raw.

Got kicked out of the bar for playing cribbage with a buddy of mine. We bought drinks and were good patrons in a dead bar. The barely 21yo manager? was a real prick. Will be spending my bankroll elsewhere from now on.

Refused service at the restaurant and bar because I wasnt gambling. Disrespected my female companion. But La Palmera was excellent and strawberry margerata very refreshing!

Good casino with good food and beverage options. Smoking indoors not allowed and not very crowded. Nice place for a good fun time.

Small casino . Tables were full on a Friday night . Didnt see any slot machines if thats all you okay dont come here
