My wife and I decided to have our guest from our recent wedding stay at the silver reef casino and it was a HUGE MISTAKE!!! The rest of the wedding went seamlessly, but all of the problems that we did encounter were due to silver reef casino. First they had problems getting the reservations correct for several guest. They charged a guest several months before their stay, they did not associate several guests with the wedding, the did not get the names of several guest correct.....and the list goes on.... It got so bad that I had people from my wedding calling me to try to get the hotel to fix the problem because the guest had already been on hold for about thirty minutes without any positive changes being made. So I called the hotel to try to get the names of the guest corrected and ended up getting transferred several times because no one had the authority to help me solve the problem. After several hours on the phone with the hotel coordinator to fix all of the issues, she mentioned that they could offer us a secluded area on the sixth floor (private floor) to have a wedding rehearsal. They were going to offer coffee, cookies and appetizers to make up for all of the hassle that our guest and myself had to endure. The sixth floor was so private that they even offered to have a hotel staff member shuttle our guest to the sixth floor on the elevator because guest could not get to it without a special key.....Low and behold! No one helped all of our guest to the sixth floor and there were no appetizers or coffee. I had to ride the elevator up and down for 45 minutes to get our guests to the rehearsal and in the end; the "private" area that they offered on the sixth floor was not private. After several trip myself up and down the elevator to get our guests to the sixth floor, other guests in the hotel constantly interrupted us. When I asked the front desk about the problem, she started to argue with me saying that they had not agreed to that. Then when she finally contacted a supervisor and found that she was wrong, she then said that it was not their fault and that a member of the hotel staff had attended.......I was there and they did not! Do not stay at this hotel and especially do not coordinate a wedding with this hotel. On top of it all...many guest complained that the wall were to thin and they could not sleep because of the noise, But even if it was quite that they could not sleep in those hard beds anyways. Their staff is incompetent and should not be trusted with even your credit card number! Hope this helps.

Being new to the area and Silver Reef has benefited from my new residency. This month alone I have offers of 2 free nights each week in Feb, 3 days a week where I to pull the tab for free play and $10 each week in silver dollars. Least to say that I have been a loyal customer. I have never took advantage of the free night stay before but decided to surprise my husband for the one night and my son for his 18th bday the next. Inquired at the diamond dividends on details and booked the room with my debit card. Not one time has anyone said to me that a deposit is needed for the room. Not even when I booked the room was I told this. Around 430 I showed up first to setup the room for my hubby and realize I forgot my voucher so I called to ask if they could hold the room. Again, still no communication on The deposit. Drive back home and come to find out that I need a deposit. Of course I feel ignorant and crushed cause my night is ruined. I left In tears and called spoke with Maria, she states that, "her staff tells people about this deposit" asked what times I had called and the cards are not ran till 4 and deeply sorry but can hold the room till 8 for us. So I talk to hubby he says, "babe put it on the card" but by the time I call back, I am little pissed and feel duked. Never as a gold member at Angel of the Winds was I treated like this. So I told Maria that we like the room but cause of your guts obvious and blanton miscommunication I like to be compensated. Considering my loyalty to their casino, I like this in return. Maybe, a massage or something. Oh no she isnt authorized to do so but you come on in and we can talk about it tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Wow Never will one more dime from me again....

Ok. Sign up for the frequent players card if this is your first time. My wife and I got these each: a $5 card to play at table games, a 5 dollar slots coupon, $5 off the buffet, and they also give you a free birthday meal (that cant be used that day). SO worth making a few trips out to this casino. UPDATE (went to The Cantina): My wife, daughter and I went for dinner and were very happy with the whole experience. We each used our annual birthday free meal which had a $18.95 value since it is based on the buffet cost that night. At the end of the meal, we only had to pay for the tip. I had carnitas. It was $14.95 and had enough to fill me (62", 250 lbs.) that night and the following morning. The pork comes out in chunks about the size of a small red potato. When you cut into the meat, theres a good amount of moisture still in there. It was great. We got the table side guacamole. You can specify the ingredients and really tell them exactly how you want it. We got extra pico. They use one full, small avocado so theres just enough to share for 2.5 people. My wife got a 2 item combo (enchilada and taco) for about 10 bucks. She didnt finish everything and was stuffed. She says the chicken was moist and had guacamole, pico, and sour cream. The waitress was awesome, decor is amazing, and I would say this is absolutely a great way to spend you annual free meal at the casino!

We went this past Saturday night - to go the Steakhouse, which was very good. I am, however, rating the Casino, as indicated here. The reason for one star is about the Casino. If you are handicapped - stay away. The management allows anybody to park in the striped places, which are supposed to allow for easy access to ones car. Every striped spot had a car jammed into it. There was one next to use when we arrived and another on each side, when we returned. We could hardly get into our car (not because we are overweight/huge - but because the cars parked so close. I spoke to a security person, in a car. He told me that management allows it and does nothing about it. Funny, I have not seen that at any other Casino ie, Angels, Tualip, Skagit etc. At Silver Reef, they do not give a damn cause they have their own rules. I spoke to another person at the security desk, on Saturday night. He almost laughed at me and told me to call the police. I talked to someone, who claimed to "head of security" this morning...........nothing. We will NOT return. Also, why get a "rewards" card there.........who knows.........I was told by somebody who issued it that there really is no advantage. Too bad there is this sleazy attitude overall in the casino, because we would like to go back to the Steakhouse and take guests. We can find another place to spend out $200.
