On the one hand, ticket prices are high, with student discounts on Thursdays only. Parking is expensive. On the other hand, this theater maintains the generic gold standard of AMC: it will be clean. There will be ample bathrooms and a water fountain. I will be able to see the screen past the head in front of me. Ill know where the exits are. Ill know whats sold at concessions. And I know theyll carry all the big blockbusters (holding some a week past their prime) and offer the midnight showings. And I know theyll have that garish preshow entertainment that makes me rethink nabbing my seat early. As well as theater-hopping amateurs who stumble in 40 minutes into your feature, all adrenaline and unadjusted eyes, before realizing that plot development is less gripping out of context. But the service is generally pretty great, from ticket counter to concessions to cleanup crew. So theres better and theres worse, but this place is at least consistent.

The theater seems to be in good condition with nice people and nice seats, but one of the employees, has taken my ratings down big time. He is a white male, wears glasses, seems to have some social issues, or something, (I dont know why AMC would hire him) Because he kicked my friends and I out of the theater because we were walking around. Seems impossible to believe but it is true. I am writing hopefully, for people to identify this man and avoid him or give complaints about him as well. If you are ever approached by him, I would suggest you walk away and ignore him. He does nothing but bother you and he basically pushes my friends out for some unknown reason. If a manager or worker at the AMC is reading this, then I think youd know who I am talking about. Ever since this, I have persuaded many people to never go to the AMC theater ever again. And I hope I have you persuaded as not to be served at the theater again. Thanks.

This was by far one of my most favorite AMC theaters around the country. Its in a great location, great servicing.. Until recently. The staff-support from this community has dwindled within the past few months; several employees are not only prejudice against teenagers, and young adults, but also the concessions servicing is quite slow and unreliable. One particular employee, who may might notice as geeky, imbecilic, and somewhat of a moron, has been mistreating customers in the worst manners possible. You may also notice janitors taking on positions as ticket collectors, which once again go to say how poor the training is to employees along with their overall selection. The managers also do not exist within the vicinity; a good friend of mine headed to place a report with the manager, only to find out the one presented was NOT a manager, but a common employee used to represent the manager with false reasoning and action claims.

Ive watched 2 movies there recently. Its a little out of the way from the nearest CTA stop (Grand) so be prepared to walk. Its nice in the summer, plus you get great views of the city along the way. The cinema itself isnt crowded because they have so many screens. The line for tickets is about a 5 min wait and the movie selection is decent. My only gripe about the theatre itself is that the cup holders beside your seat are pretty gross. So think twice about putting your drink in there, or look for a cleaner one. The food is a little pricey, as expected of any cinema. Do be prepared for a bit of a wait if youre ordering hot food. It does take a while. Plus, there are two lines - one to order and the other to pick up. Dont get caught in the pick up line when you want to order (It happened to a lady who stood behind me for about 10 mins before realising that there was another line)

We go here frequently to watch movies. The location is good for the downtown crowd, but if you do not take public transportation, parking is hard to find. There are plenty of places to get something to eat either before or after your movie. There is even a Walgreens just east of here where you can purchase munchies at much lower prices than inside. The box office is on the second floor, so go straight up the escalators when you enter the building. The actual movie theaters are on the 3rd floor. There is also the FTW video game arcade and Lucky Strike bowling on the second floor. These are separate businesses from the movie theater and you do not need to purchase a ticket to visit either of these. With approximately 21 different movie theaters, there is something for everyone. #CityExperts @GoogleLocalCHI

This Is a very nice theater. Its probably one of the nicest cleanest theater In Chicago land area and also the bathrooms were all very nice , big and very clean. Remember their are 3 floors to this building and screens are on last 3rd floor. I saw a FREE screening for the movie Need For Speed Wednesday night February 19th, 2014 and It was an awesome movie. All the staff were super very friendly and gave me a FREE refill on a Icee witch they were not depose too but they did anyways. Parking Is very expensive>$15 for parking @ the theater. So we decided to take the bus & train from CTA Rosemont. Had a great time and we back again. Also this feels likes a OK safe area In the city and everybody Is friendly. Thanks u to all staff !

My favorite movie theater. Has two restaurants one with a pool hall, bowling alley, and a bar the other an arcade with a bar and kitchen. The food is great at both of them Conssesion stand is on the third floor with the third bar right across from it. There is a variety of foods here and each theater room in nice. This place is spotless and the have passed health code standards for the state and city. They have an on site parking garage and when you enter the ticket machine is in the lobby. This place is walking distance from Navy Pier as well as Target, Subway, Walgreens, the best Hotels in the city, amongst other things. I go evertime I have the chance to and take my son when he visits.

My experience at amc was very bad. The staff was exceptionally rude this evening. I asked for an exchange for our movie tickets and they gave me two passes instead. After returning guest services i was told i could not refund tickets paid for with a pass. I explained id paid cash and was sent through back and forth up and the escalator 4 times. Finally, i was given two passes and told in order to receive two cash tickets at the time of exchange i had to mention that it may a be possibility i could have to leave early. Further she said she assumed i wouldnt need a refund. This was very unfortunate! I am very disappointed that i was treated so unfairly.

If i could give this place no stars i would. The staff Members here are completely disrespectful and look at you as if the are looking down at you. When asking a stff member what time a certain show would be ending she responed "well if it started at 1 and it is only 1:30 what time do feel the movie should finish" while rolling her eyes. I find it very funny that on a prior incident that occurred here last year noone ever got incontact with me to see what actually went wrong on their staffs behalf. I feel as if every dog has its day and a good dog as two. To be in a very classy part of the city this movie theater has a huge amount of trashy workers.
