I am very disappointed for a second time. After being asked to return in person by a Poker Supervisor, I set my differences aside and gave them another chance. I was quite happy and even returned with friends on several occasions. After a few fun and memorable events, I was surprised but then quickly reminded what an "old boys" management really reads between hidden lines. Oh and for those that are fairly new; best of luck with receiving no challenge whatsoever while protecting your boundaries. You may even be lucky enough to find the one token gentleman that may be willing to step up to Mr. BIG MAN an defend your honor. But then again, I am just "another know it all female trying to play a mans game" right? Shame on you Harry and George for not taking control of your tables and the abusive, loud and degrading remarks made from men to women patrons and vice versa at your poker tables while under your dime and supervision. Protection and safety can be better expected at our non patrolled beaches gentlemen. Oh and as for your female poker dealer, Terri, that sales "AMWAY", I would much rather she stay focused on her dealing me my cards than than her long winded testimonials about her youthful new skin products and prices available on her website. Needless to say, I am almost embarrassed for wasting the times I did even driving to Florence when I could have got much more experienced dealers, bonuses and friendly, courteous staff elsewhere. Driving to Chinook is always consistent and without delays. No expectations other than for me and my friends to have a great experience and they have come through every time! Best Casino security I have seen! It is and will always be worth every mile for us from now on. They will even escort you to your rooms and cars if you feel the need to be safe and with no questions asked. GAME OVER Three Rivers. I believe you are all dried up for this retiree and many of us retired and disabled veterans with plenty of pensions and retirement coming in. Besides, Chinook even has a veterans memorial for us to feel as welcome as ever and whenever. Not to mention the ocean view rooms are PRICELESS! Weak try at a second attempt, TRC&H! I shall never share this place with another again! It is a shame too because the rooms, the steak house and the buffet are great. And Lucinda is a top notch, funny and what a dealer should model! Just wish you could employ more staff like her to offset the ones trying to hold it all together with selfish agendas Mr. Rose. In the end, we ALL know who loses when Customer Service is not your #1 and most important! I mean it is only $$ we are pulling out of our pockets to put in yours. "NOT!" George gives me a room to feel safe after being stalked by an employees family member and then states that he does not know what else I expect from them? How about letting me know that when you step in and do your job to make me feel safe as a loyal patron, you dont hold it over my head as a sort of "get help one time only" card? And jamming everybody up against the right wall at entrance with an entire half side open is pure ignorant and most unsafe as many scuffle around and scrape to get past one another to take a break! Really? Great for Romper Room Poker folks but that is all!

On a Friday business trip to Florence, my wife and I decided to stop in at Three Rivers Casino Resort for lunch and entertainment. We arrived just minutes after the World Market Buffet opened (11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Lunch is $9.99 a person. In addition to the standard casino buffet fare, the buffet features a carving station, a dessert station and a salad station. The prime rib at the carving station drew us in first and we each received generous medium-rare cuts with a deep brown crust and a juicy pink center. I added a piece of fried cod and an Asian chicken wing sprinkled with sesame seeds. My wife returned to the carving station for another slice of prime rib while I browsed the salad station, which offers chilled plates that complemented the cantaloupe and honeydew melon slices I selected. The real treat is in the center of the salad station, where a server prepares salads made to order. I was mulling over standard salad bar offerings when the server, Samantha Fox, asked if she could prepare a “Spring Summer Caesar Salad” for me. I agreed. Samantha asked me if I wanted grilled chicken or shrimp. I chose the shrimp. With the enthusiasm and charm you’d expect from a celebrity chef hosting her own TV show, she explained each ingredient as she prepared the dish. I posted a photo of the Spring Summer Caesar Salad. Satiated, I returned to thank Samantha for a wonderful salad and recommended that the casino place more signage around her station to highlight the freshly-prepared salad. A lunch of prime rib, Caesar salad and fresh fruit for $9.99 is a great value. My wife and I look forward to returning. I conclude with a suggestion and a recommendation. World Market Buffet could better label the condiment section and consider providing duplicate bowls of horseradish and creamed horseradish at the carving station next to the au jus. My recommendation to customers is arrive early. The buffet filled up at noon. Credit the wait staff for quickly clearing tables, keeping the wait time down to a minimum.

Poor service. They Ripped me off. If youre traveling, dont pick this Casino - Its near the coast but not even near the ocean, its in a field in the middle of nowhere, no view, and the City of Florence is nasty. The better coastal casinos are: The Mill Casino in Coos Bay or Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City. My Experience: I went to use a $10 free slot play ticket that I received at the Eugene Rodeo. To turn on the slot machine, you need to put cash in, so I put in a $20 bill. After 20 pulls and not 1 single win, I quit. I go to cash out, to find the machine spent my cash and none of the "free $10 cash." I was never told this would happen, maybe Im naive about Casino play, so I go to tell them what happened immediately. Customer service cant refund me $10, so I ask the manager, she cant either, so I ask what the big deal is, and who can give me my money back... I ask for her boss and she says its the CEO, so I go to ask him over this matter of 10 dollars. She gives me the CEOs cell phone number and name, "Mark Rose" over this matter of $10... Seriously?! I call him up and speak with him. He says hes having trouble hearing me but wants to try to make it right tomorrow. Tomorrow? Why not just tell customer service right now? Tomorrow comes around and of course I never hear back from anyone. The least I can do is leave a bad rating and laugh at the bullshit here. You would think a casino would squabble over $10 that they stole, but apparently this place is so cheap that they needed to steal my $10 that bad. Im 32 and make good money, and Ill never be back here again. Plenty of other casinos to go to.. The Mill down in Coos Bay, or Chinook Winds up in Lincoln City.
