I played Mill Pond yesterday 6/28/14 at 11:28. It was not an enjoyable experience. We got out 20 minutes late which was understandable at that time.I played the white tees and you could see that they were in terrible shape. BUT they were nothing like the yellow tees that were played with 2 of my partners. The yellows are a joke, They are all angled and uncut. Your WORST LIE should not be on tee. And they were all like that. Then on the 4 th hole, Par 3 We waited 20 minutes to tee off which actually got worse on 5. There were 4 groups on a 300 yd par 4. Almost decided to leave. Then to top it all off while waiting to hit my second shot some moron pulls up from another hole with a radio blasting in his cart. when I asked him to turn it off he challenged me to a fight. There are signs saying no coolers but this jerk was drunk already and had a full cooler of beer. What do the rangers do???? I saw him driving around all day but I also heard the radio ALL DAY. We are done with Mill Pond. Long island is loaded with great course and Mill Pond used to be one. Not anymore. Dont bother unless your looking for a day of agravation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the top public golf courses on Long Island. I much prefer this course over swan or spring lake. Great condition with a setup that allows the golfer to score well especially from the white tees. The course is well staffed with friendly workers. From the starters to the rangers to the cook at the turn, you can tell they are managed well and make the effort to excel in service.

came here on a day off with a friend. neither of us had ever played here. we were both extremely happy about this course. will def play here again. the course was very well groomed. the staff was very very pleasant. after our round we went to the grill and had an amazing burger. could not have been happier. great job mill pond cc.
This is a great golf course from the friendly guys that check you in and load the golf carts to the pro shop staff. The food is marginal at best and the fact the restaurant lets employees who smoke sit outside in customer tables was a big disappointment. Bottom line, a great place to golf and a louse place to eat.

Great experience! Played this course last weekend... was completely blown away by how it was kept in the late winter months. Well maintained, beautiful but challenging greens and impressive hole design. Im surprised this course is often overlooked.
I use the driving range alot havent played the course in a while but it seems real busy all the time
Wonderful place for golf, staff are very cordial and an excellent pro shop. Enjoyed the fullest.
Went for a cub scout blue and gold ceremony. the staff did a great job and the food was good.
This is a challenging coarse but fair. Make sure you have a lot of golf balls with you.
The service was horrible. The food was like eating at a cafateria at school.
Excellent, great food, love the course, staff courteous and professional
Terrible pace. Over 6 hour round. So many better course in the area.
Great challenging golf course. Link style, reasonably priced.
Good course. Too pricey on weekends for this course
Go once a year for mothers day always nice staff

Went for wedding. Not bad
