I have played this course several times and it has become one of my favorites. Every hole is a new challenge and this course features a full practice facility. It is relatively cheap and it is in good shape year-round. I have a few cons though. The greens are extremely soft and slow throughout the year, no matter what! I have played it when we havent had rain in several days and the greens will feel like we had a torrential downpour last night. It is not a very easy course to walk and there are times where the staff is not well educated on their prices. The last time I went they tried to charge me $15 more than my actual rate and when I questioned him about it he denied he made a mistake. I had to get the manager to correct his employee! So while it is an impressive layout, it is not on the tier of Richmond public courses like Magnolia Green and Providence.

I Play quite a few public courses around Richmond and this is my favorite. I work near by and play a couple times a week. Well maintained, Fairways are in great shape and always groomed. Greens are looking great this year and they have done a great job working on Tee boxes as well. Fun course that is more forgiving than some others in the area. Great value for the money and the Staff are all very friendly and accommodate me even when playing as a single.

Very friendly & helpful staff. The course is wonderful. It is well groomed. The fairways are very nice Bermuda. The greens are average speed and nicely kept. The course is challenging without being overly punitive. Modest snack bar and pro shop. Grass practice range. Extremely accommodating to senior golfers. Excellent rates for seniors and others. Walking allowed. This is my favorite course in the Richmond area. 1/2 star short of the maximum.

Great course, needs a little more TLC on the fareways in some spots and the greens had plastic plugs last time i played it... Great variety on the holes between water and hills, and the houses are never in questionable spots(lucky for them due to my slice haha). That said Ill definately come play again!

Its a very solid course. Certainly the most well maintained course Ive been to, but good. The back nine is superior to the front nine if youre look for variety and challenge. Great after work, gold until dark specials.

Im nostalgic about this course so a 3.5 would probably be more accurate. Not an overly difficult layout. Nice topography changes and mounding which keeps the course playful.
