Excruciatingly hectic, caotic, & out of control environment that is NOT run well by staff or management at all! WAY TOO FEW staff members running the one in Philps Plaza Mall everyday! The management members, literally ALL of them, dont have a clue how to manage or run this place! They NEVER have the photo booth open to purchase the photos! You could have just walked in the door when they opened, and only have been open an hour, and ask where the worker of the photo booth is, the answer will ALWAYS be the same: "Oh, they have already gone home for the day." We have had 2 seasons passes and during these last 15 months, that photo booth has literally NEVER been open when we have been there! This so called VIP PASS line that they advertise about the "quick entrance," does NOT exist! You still have to stand in line with everyone else and wait to get in. They have the laziest workers that I believe I have ever seen! No one is keeping the floors clear of LEGO pieces, the tables and floors in the cafe area are ALWAYS FILTHY! The cooler unit stays VERY low and sparse on food items. No one knows any information on the prices of the food and drinks for the kids meals, etc. in the cafe area and you are pretty much left on your own to figure it out! They cant seem to help in the toy store either. They dont know their products, where they are, or how much anything is when asked! All the employees know how to say for every question, and for every problem is: "Im not sure, let me go ask." They then disappear and you never see them again! This FREE MONTHLY MAGAZINE that is advertised as part of the benefits of the seasons pass & is supposed to come with the season pass, we have never gotten! I have emailed corporate office about it, and even gave them my contact phone number in the email and no one has called me or emailed me back about it. This is my second year of having the pass and this year we have not recieved the magazines yet either and we have had the new passes for 3 months now. This year they gave us coupon books, last year they didnt give us any coupon books at all!. VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER LEGO LAND!

My family and I decided to visit Legoland this past Sunday to celebrate my child Birthday. We bought our tickets online to keep from standing in line. After we arrived, we had to still stand in line for about 45 mins because the section that was advertised online for the people who already paid, was not open. Once we got to the front of the line, The manager Tishia purposely skipped my family assuming we hadnt paid for our tickets. So My husband politely interrupted her to let her know what she had just done. She then, Rolls her eyes (like it was our fault she helped the person behind me before giving me my service) and tell us to come on then. While waiting to get our tickets scanned, my kids noticed the activity pack and wanted us to buy them one. So we asked Ms. Tishia about buying the activity pack, she glance at our tickets and tell us "you had a option to buy online, you dint want it, so keep it moving ". All I could think of was how rude and Im gonna get these activities packs. It was my son birthday and I wanted it to be special. I walk up to the cash register to ask one of her employee if I could buy it with cash and also get the corporate number to complain. She then told me She didnt have it but Ms Tishia was the manager . So basically Ms. Tishia feels she can treat people any type of way because she has a management position. She was very unprofessional and her organization almost lost out on money because of her lack of professionalism. After entering the building, I quickly realized I totally wasted my money. It was very small and crowed, they only had 2 baby rides, the entire building was dirty. It was empty drinks sitting on top of lego tables where our kids are suppose to play, drinks spilled all over the floor, the bathrooms and food court was dirty. And it wasnt much for the kids to do. The upside is my kids enjoyed themselves but they said they would have had more fun at chucky cheese.

We were very disappointed with our experience. The whole place from start to end was extremely unorganized. It began with trouble finding it in the first place. There was no signage to indicate where it was located. With the extensive construction going on at Phipps right now, that is necessary. Even when we did see the tiny logo in the parking garage, it was confusing. We pre-purchased tickets and it was unclear as to where to go to "check in". There were several families who had this complaint. We were behind a group of about 40 people. When we asked someone about using our pre-paid tickets, she said to just cut in front. Although we appreciate saving that time and that is why we did the pre-purchase, you wouldnt believe the mean looks we received. Not only that, but there was only one person at the ticketing counter with quite a lengthy wait. In the "how theyre made" section, we asked one question. The person working said "I have no idea... I just read whats on the walls". Of course we dont expect people to be Lego experts or anything, but a little training would be a good thing. The playground area indicated many times that adult supervision is required, but that is problematic considering you cannot see at least half of the net-play area. I also wonder how often the blocks themselves are cleaned. There are buckets of Legos around the place with kid after kid digging their hands in them. Its a shame that we had this experience because my children were so looking forward to it. I doubt we will return;.... especially at the $20/head expense. Your money would be MUCH better spent going to Target and purchasing Lego sets and spending time with your kids putting them together... and youd have something to keep afterwards!

IF YOURE AN ADULT, YOU CANT GET IN WITHOUT A CHILD WITH YOU FYI! Ive been wanting to go to Legoland for quite some time now. I grew up playing with Legos and still buy Lego sets today, I still enjoy building and displaying my Lego. Well, I attempted to go yesterday only to be notified at the ticket purchasing counter that you have to have a kid with you for entry, seriously?! I thought she was kidding at first but she was not and she bluntly explained that it is a "childrens attraction." I let her know that it was ridiculous before walking away. So because Im an adult (late twenties) and dont have kids I cant walk through to look at all of the (I assume) awesome Lego creations?!? The worst part is, it isnt clear at all on the website that a kid has to be with you. It seems kind of backwards, I dont know that Ive ever been too old to go somewhere, where I need a child to accompany me just so I can get in. I can sort of understand why you cant enter without a child, but it seems like a poor way to attempt to filter out creepers and the like, which I assume is the goal. I may end up taking my nieces one day, as Im sure wed all enjoy it, but Im so frustrated at this point I dont know that I even want to go anymore. Ill probably venture to one of the larger Legoland parks which I hear are better anyway. Thankfully I didnt buy tickets ahead of time. They do have a large sized Lego store (which I could go in lol) but I was so pissed off about the admission to Legoland that I didnt even want to buy anything. I certainly would have purchased a Lego set, probably a large one at that, had I been able to enjoy myself. But theyre the ones that are out the money, not me.
