By far, the worst customer service ever - one star is far too many! The contract for my daughters birthday party noted we were signed up for the jr. ninja warrior course and "Generic Birthday Tableware provided. Host will set up, serve and clean up." The host walked the children over to the course (only after I requested she do so), left them and they received no instruction. She left all the tableware for us to set up on our own, carried the pizzas sideways causing them all to slide to one side of the box, asked a parent attending the party to serve the pizza and then disappeared. When she finally came back and we were able to show her the pizza, she said it must have been the kitchens fault and would go talk to them - multiple parents witnessed her carrying them incorrectly. I told her the kids were hungry and wed eat what we could while she talked to the kitchen. She came back over 15 minutes later to tell me they would be giving us new pizza - the kids had already eaten at that point, I let her know we didnt want them and she mentioned shed give us half back on the pizza. Again, she disappeared, now making us wait to do cake, as she had the lighter for the candles. Once she returned, she handed my husband the lighter and walked away…again! She did no serving of cake - this was all done by MY friends. I requested we speak with the manager and when the "host" returned with the manager, they told me they would credit half the pizza. Nothing more since we had eaten some of the pizza! Im guessing they wanted us to gather the kids and only feed a couple of them while we let the others wait? We let the manager know how poor the service was and requested something in addition, noting we would fully be willing to pay for all the childrens admittance to the facility. Now, the manager left and took her time getting back - we waited 15 minutes…twice...while she resolved nothing. This included her phone call to the GM (which only happened at the urging of my friend). When she returned this time she was accompanied by a security guard. At this point, the security told us we HAD to sign the receipt otherwise they would call the police. I noted they didnt need my signature for it to go through and he said that would close the contract - to which I responded services were not provided as stated in the contract, therefore the contract was not fulfilled. He repeated again that they would call the authorities and I noted that we were not willing to jail over this (over customer service at an 8 year olds birthday party!), Id sign the contract, noting on it that it was under duress. AGAIN, the manager left, charged the card (almost immediately as my husband received an alert) and waited another 15 minutes to return. I signed the receipt and wrote "signed under duress" immediately above my signature. Please note that during our conversations, we were told by the staff that the best way to handle the situation was bad reviews and small claims court - so here we are! My next step is to work with my credit card company to dispute the charge and will contact the GM myself. By far, the WORST birthday party customer service experience Ive ever had! Do not book your party here - they have no intention on making your experience pleasant!

Saturday night and were feeling alright.....Then we fell into the depression that is Slingshot. Good news is my target heart rate had been achieved by the time I hit the front door, we had to park half a mile away. In part due to the crowd and intimidating "come at me bro attitude" coming from the off duty Renta cop. I knew this guy was not a POST certified law officer (a real thank you to all the actual law officers for your service to the community and for taking a low salary to put your lives in harms way) the other queues from this guy were his murdered out 5 series with unlawful tint and interior mounted LED. Now we walk inside to a nice whiteboard indicating bowling would not be available until 730. No biggie, I can wait. Ooops, no racing until 1030PM. Im thinking Ill nerd out on the ninja course. We wait in line for 15 minutes to watch folks figure out how a touchscreen works and fill out our waiver. We make our way to the counter, greeted with another sign, "arcade is closed". Handwritten on copy paper. We paid our 15$ each entry fee and skipped to our adventure. Stoked my wife drags me to the bar. After 5 minutes of making awkward eye contact and feeling like I am wearing a sign that says "Im a (insert expletive)". We ask for a miller lite. "We are out" was the response. OK, mich ultra. $4.50 At half time , Falcons playoff game. We go to the ninja course. After humbling myself on 2 obstacles, we made the rounds to see what else I could attempt with a modicum of positive result. Closed, closed, closed seemed to be the theme of the evening. I counted 8 of the obstacles closed. Closed off with caution tape. Downing a liter of water, I made my way to the latrine, where I was greeted with a closed sign on the family room, what ever. I found the mens room. I also found where they were making Afghan war rugs with human backhair. In all reality had I not been wearing shoes I would have passed for Bilbao Baggins, from all the stranger hair on the floor. Also no paper towels. We made our way back to the bar to meet our friends and decided to dine. See image for a copy of the menu. In all fairness after asking if this was a kids menu the manager notified us they are transitioning to a pizzaria. I decided to hold off on my dining experience while my wife ordered fries. The rest of the gang ordered chicken wings and received pigeon wings 40 minutes later. A Coke took 52 minutes to arrive for a lady to the right. By the end of thr 3rd quarter some folks had received their pigeon wings while other had not received the pizza from the pizzaria. "Mambo Italiano" is the vibe coming from the kitchen. Again in the spirit of fairness they drove to a Hunts Brothers location to get it hot. Wine served in a wineglass right out of the dishrack. Nice and hot. And this is where I leave you.....to Slingshot or Sling-not....That is the question. I recommend not. Oh yeah, no spoons, only forks.

Great concept, horrible execution. Being managed so it fails. They sank good money into this place but I dont expect it to last. Go karts are gone because they are being sued for how poorly this place is run. Staff appears to be numb to complaints, they must happen that often. Food quality is a sick joke but they charge like a major amusment park. $11 for a bla burger and fries, drink extra. Manager added a new $15 spectator fee six months ago. So now adults have to pay to watch and supervise their kids. Thats how much they want your money now, not your continued patronage. There is adult and child ninja courses but no restrictions on who uses what. No staff in obstacle areas at all. No enforcement of rules. All the risk is on you, the consumer. Catch pads are just pads in a hole, not secured to side or corners at all. Kids can easily fall between the pads and walls. Had to pull mine out several times including once in a corner when he got completely covered by the bag meant to catch him. No big deal because i was right there. What if I wasnt? Many areas in need of repair. Some obstacles have been altered so they cant be completed or have just plain been removed. Adult obstacles 11 and 12 are simply gone but their signs are still there. Child obstacle 8 is half gone and now cant be completed. Child obstacle 7 says cargo net, only theres no net. Just a few quick examples. Former Shooting Stars area in the back is now a massive scrap pile of oversized legos. Perfect for kids to climb all over then easily fall and injure themselves. Again no staff in site at all. Paid $95, including 2 "spectator fees" and a 4 year old, to let 3 kids play around for 90 minutes before they got completely bored. Came here last year and paid about half as much for more kids that also included go-karts and bowling. In my book this was the very definition of a rip off. A shame because it could be so much better if properly run.
