It was relatively easy to book a morning tee-time the day before. I arrived to find the course was not overly populated, which means we would most likely not have slow play in front of us, or somebody breathing down our necks behind us. The courses conditions, with all of the rain we have had recently was very good. The greens were soft, the fairways green and giving, and the rough was rough. It was definitely challenging for me, although it had been a couple of years since I had last played a round anywhere. I could not have found a better course to use to return to the game. As this was the first time in a few years that I have played 18-holes in Texas, I started to fade toward the end as the sun was relentless. For this reason, if you are like me, then maybe 4-5 hours in direct sun may take its toll on you, book your tee time for 7:00, or as close to it as you can. The only complaint I had about the entire experience, is that this Sunday (Fathers Day) there were no cooked items for sale in the 19th-hole, or in the pro-shop. I didnt take any food with me from home as I expected I would be able to grab somthing of sustenance between the front and back nine. Didnt happen, and I really could have used that extra burst of energy to carry me through to th end.

My son play STPGA two time at this course the golf course condition is good but the issue is its seem like they didnt have enough staff to maintenance and when they have tournament like this they didn have golf ball for the kids to practice on the range cause they didnt have staff pick up the ball from the range. And another big issue is about month or two month ago the kids have tournament the RESTROOM at the club house is go BAD can not used but they didn put the sign to tell people SMELL super super bad imagine when the restroom full with everything can not drain that is how it look like. They didnt have restaurant to sell you food and the restroom on the back side at the course didnt work either and again NO sign. Twice with this golf course and still bad experience if they have tournament for the kids again I will not sign my son to play and will not recommend people to go play.

I have played all the municpal courses except Brackenridge. 2nd time playing this course and it is fun. Its not always packed which is good. The driving range is a plus. Fairways are wide open but if u go in rough, you might not find your ball. I wish they would place 150 markers as there currently arent any. Im not giving it 4 or 5 stars due to green quality. Some greens need a lot of work, especially hole 9. If you have opportunity for birdie or par, this green can make it very difficult. Its mostly dry patches and blades or grass. The area is highly concentrated with hogs so you might see a couple mud holes on the back 9. Favorite hole is 7 which has nice view. I would go back because it can be fun but dont expect greens like Cedar Creek. Bunkers had some sand for fluff but it looked like they just added some recently.

Mission has 17 great holes of golf but #9 is the worest hole on the course. Its all poana and like putting on asphalt you never know where its going a good green to hit and pick up and go to #10. Restrooms #10 mens were locked and ladies room was in a condition that was unusable. Give us a product we can be proud of. Thanks William Brown

Not a bad place to play for the price. Only downside that I experienced was the course marshall wouldnt listen when me and my buddy tried to jump around the course where it was less crowded to play other holes and told us we had to go play the holes we had already played.

This course has potential and use to be fun. Now the greens are laughable to say the least. Fairways are a mess. Priced way too high for its current course conditions. There is a reason they always have tee times available. Stay away till they fix it up.

A casual muni course with full facilities (putting, range). Reasonably challenging course thats usually kept in reasonable condition but can have issues periodically with greens and hogs tearing up parts of the fairway.

You can always get a round of golf in anytime during the week. Good rates, especially with Alamo Trails membership. Golf course is pretty good, great for beginner and intermediate players.

Just recently played Del Lago. This course needs a MAJOR renovation! Fairways are lousy, greens are lacking. Way overpriced!! Not worth $42 bucks.
