I went to EnterTrainment Juction May-3-2017. Awesome & amazing place to come and spend the whole day at , weather its you and the whole family or even just you by yourself like I did , everything was so perfect in the miniaturised world , you can tell as you go through the exhibits that their has been a whole lot of thought and planning and detail involved to make it what it truly is , From houses , people , mountains , cars , buildings , animals , plants & trees , rivers & waterfalls , boats Ect. And all of the people who helped to come up with this idea & to make it all happen & all of the work that was put into this place by all of those who were involved and continue to be involved especially the volunteers and all the long hard work that they put into this is truly amazing , and I must say they truly nailed it ! I took my time looking through everything Im trying to pay attention the best I could to all of the detail and I bet you honestly theres probably a lot that I still missed :) lol I also really loved how they made it so interactive for all that are visiting & especially children , I noticed after I purchased my ticket and made my way into where the exhibits started , there was some stacks of little step stools for kids to step on so they could see the exhibits better & better enjoy it , I also was told when I purchased my ticket to make sure I definitely check out Coney Island because that is the most sought-out exhibit that they have at people come to especially see , and I honestly believe that the whole place should be on that same level has the exhibit Coney Island , I could go on all day about this but I would just really like to thank all the people that made this place so amazing and all the volunteers and everyone involved for making this such a truly amazing place to come and see for all , I honestly would love to come back and see it again :) you may want to consider on changing the name though , to something more like The Amazing Enter Trainment Junction :) Also the Train Museum was really awesome as well :)

This is really a place that is great fun for the whole family. While primarily a train layout, there are activities for people of all ages and EnterTrainment Junction has really worked to engage the only mildest of train enthusiast. Various elements of the train layout include buttons to activate trains, specific scenery, lighting, or sound effects. I believe there is also an audio tour (as I saw the numbers all over, but didnt think to ask before hand). My wife is not someone that gets excited about seeing model trains, however there was a scavenger hunt in which you challenged yourself to find certain elements of scenery throughout the layout that really got people into the detail and nuances. For Kids there are a few stops throughout the layout where you can ride a small ride or sit down. Also, at many viewing points there are steps to stand on for those that are young or vertically challenged. For the average adult you are looking at around $15 dollars. Our group of 7 adults took nearly 2.5 hours wandering the layout and the time seemed to fly right by.

Loved this place! We took our two young boys (ages 1 and almost 3), driving a couple hours from Frankfort, Kentucky. It was so worth the trip. We went during the "Everything Thomas" event, and both boys had a blast. Between the kids play area, the fun carnival-like attractions, and, of course, the amazing model trains, all four of us really enjoyed ourselves. The place is very lovely on the inside, with a village-type atmosphere, touting a cafe, gift shop, and really great hobby shop. The birds-eye view you can get of the models was also pretty cool. There was so much going on. My oldest son was even interested in all the history and educational portions, since theyre presented in such an interesting way. It went well beyond my expectations, and we will definitely be back, especially for Christmas.

Very fun for the kids, and the model trains and scene are very impessive. There is a pretty big indoor playground, a few rides and other things, wooden train sets to play with, and every model train scene has a list of things to look for, which my girls loved (that was probably their favorite part). Never could find any dinosaurs! My only complaint would be that it seemed a bit over-priced at $14 for adults, $10 for kids (if you buy online ahead of time, otherwise its more) but they happened to be doing a two-for-one deal when we went, so that helped. Still, compared to the other indoor option we were considering, Newport Aquarium, this is much cheaper. Keep in mind in winter and early spring some things are only open on weekends, so check the website.

My children are 11 and 13 and both enjoy model railroading. The layout was much nicer and larger than we expected. We drove from Sandusky, Ohio (3.5 hr drive) and stayed about 2 hours. I cant comment on the food because we didnt eat while we were there. I also cant comment on the other attractions because the kids are just too big for them. The layout and museum were more than enough for us though. I took one star off for bathroom cleanliness. They could have used some attention. My only other complaint was the man who was photographing everything with his flash on. It would be nice to have a sign before you enter stating no flash photography. Overall our time and money were well spent.

We discovered this place during a weekend getaway around the Cincinnati area and it stole the show and became the highlight of our trip! Its a wonderful place for kids of all ages, I particularly loved the toddler play area - which was perfect for my 15-month-old. It was a nice touch to have something for the little ones who are not quite ready to thrash, climb, tumble and play like older kids. The Thomas train ride where we boarded Annie and Clarabelle was super cool. The main attraction, the model train display itself, was fun and educational and surely the envy of any hobby train enthusiast. Also, this place has some awesome gift shops and its available to rent for parties and events.

Wonderful experience! Well worth the 3 hour drive. We went in late September and they still had the Thomas ride on train and hand crank train operating and the exhibition hall was decked out with a little kid friendly haunted house complete with candy stations and crafts. The train displays were very cool and the play area kept my 2 year old entertained for an hour and a half. Friendly staff, very clean, in fact this is the ONLY place I have EVER been that actually had liners in the changing table liner-holder container : ) We will definitely be going back to check it out close to the Christmas.

The people working today had the locked the doors on us and there were a few of us standing outside. This seems to be done deliberately, because minutes before people were walking right in. I am guessing that those working in your company were playing some sort of joke on the rest of us. There were minorities amongst us, perhaps this could have been there reason why. Nonetheless this was very rude and I find it insulting and unprofessional. Definitely need to ask the staff why they were so rude. Other then that this was an fun day to spend with my boys looking at the trains.
