this is mostly based at when i saw that pets movie here. the staff was fine only saw em for a minute the people that sat behind us were straight up morons of course this movie is by the same people who made minions so t here was a short and these people (bout 8 or 9? almost entire row) were laughing at every little funny monent all loud and rude. I think minions are satanaic but i didnt laugh once at this short. also when the movie was on these weirdos kept lauging like hyenas even the little boy in front of us who was like 9 turned around and looked at them like shut up please for one minute im trying to watch this then again someone acutally yelled to their baby shut the f*** up how rude.. I lost intrest in the movie 20 mins in as it wasnt a very good movie and i almost wanted to go get a refund if it was possible but i stayed and watched it then i told my ride how awful watching this was oh well atleast the chairs were soft

I give three stars because Im torn between 2 and 5. With the remodel to the theater they have two screens, but the one screen is simply a screening room that is very cramped, with exceptionally uncomfortable seats. Its fine for a 90 minute flick, but when you have a three hour movie, you do not want to be stuck in the screening room. The main theater though, is very wide, spacious, and you can clearly and comfortable see the screen from anywhere in the room. It stays very clean, and the help is always courteous.

We went to the Apollo last night (Dec. 30) and we were very impressed with the revamp. We are so glad the Apollo has been saved, including some of the old familiar features. However, we were very surprised at the lack of heat. I mean it was COLD in there!. We kept our coats and gloves on during the whole movie. I hope this not the norm. They need to allow more of their budget for heating costs, unless this was a one time fluke.

Really enjoy seeing first run movies in this comfortable, well priced theater. The staff is friendly and courteous and the ticket prices are exceptional. The small viewing theater isnt bad as its quit comfortable with newer seating. If you want the best experience though, be sure to catch new releases during their first week so you get the full theater experience with the large screen.

The classic vaudeville era theater has been refurbished to bring it up to code and in the process has lost a lot of its charm. The main auditorium is now smaller and a second very small theater has been added. Ticket prices and concessions are reasonable.

Prices are less then half of other theaters. Staff is friendly. Smaller then other theaters but its good if you dont like large crowds and its rarely crowded. Plus Oberlin is beautiful. If you want a break from the norm this is where you want to be.

I love how they host screenings for niche titles and special events. I used to have to drive all the way to Cedar Lee or Columbus to watch anime and other foreign films. Prices are quite affordable here, and the theatre is clean and nostalgic.

I love this theater. Always first run movies. Matinee cost $8 for both of us. Theater is beautiful but FREEZING. I took a hoodie and was still miserable.

Great home town feel. Upgraded the theater a few years back. Kind of miss the old school feel. But definitely is a value compared to the bigger theaters
