The theater is OLD, the lobby was clean, the concession area could use some sprucing up and they only serve nachos, popcorn, candy and soda - old school. The prices are decent. I paid 8$ for 2 sm. popcorns and a bottle water and the small popcorn is bigger than the target popcorn bag. The bathrooms are very outdated. Picture and sound was great, six dollars is a bargain to see a movie If you are going there to see a movie of nomination quality...like The Help, or a movie that requires one to pay attention and/or listen to understand whats going on...like Sherlock Holmes...Forget this theater. Not only are the seats grotesque (you get what you pay for) the noise that comes from the seats when ppl fidget is comedy worthy. Like when youre talking to a person and they yawn and your body suddenly has this uncontrollable need to yawn?...One person fidgets, the ENTIRE theater fidgets and its like listening to a bad porno of a room full of old ppl on squeaky metal box springs. At one, point, I could not stop laughing. I left kicking myself for not video taping the seat squeak concert, it would have been a youtube hit. When going to this movie theater, stick to the loud, action packed movies like Fast & Furious....Avengers, etc...all noise, minimal intellectual processing.

My wife and I have been frequenting this theater for ages due to their worn but comfortable seats, good sodas and popcorn etc, close proximity to home and because they are far from the herd that generally mills around at the Regal. Recently, the Centre6 upgraded to new cushy seating that on paper should be comfy as all getout but sadly, its so ramrod straight and close to the seat ahead of it that I almost had to leave the show after an hour due to my back threatening to seize up. I settled for leaning forward on the seat back in front of me to make it to the end of a great movie (Criminal Activities) We tried a couple of other houses to see if the new seats felt the same and sadly they did. Sorry O6, my stove up back trumps your otherwise great little theater and though we try to support the little guys when possible, I doubt well be back. PS; In the interest of honesty, Im old and crotchety. You young skinny people could probably sit on an old mossy rock for three hours and be comfortable. Your mileage may vary...

The price is right, but the experience itself is hard to recommend. I saw two movies there this week. In each one the booming bass of another movie made its way into ours. And in both of the theatres, the seats were pointed downward with the ramp, so we had to actively hold ourselves up. It felt like we were going to fall forward. The seats are comfortable, but their positions are ridiculous. There was an excessive clicking coming from the booth throughout one of the movies. They dont always have two sets of doors, so whenever someone left the theatre, the light from the lobby would illuminate the room. Its a fine little theatre, and the price is very reasonable, but all the little annoyances really added up for me.

A smaller sized theater nestled in the corner of a shopping plaza. Prices here are pretty much the best in town, great for watching a quick movie in the middle of the day. Showtimes consist of 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, so if your wanting to watch something a little before noon or later in the night this isnt the place to do it. Snack diversity is rather limited to the very basics of popcorn, nachos, and drinks, however the prices on these items are once again best in town (Free drinks and popcorn on Wednesdays). Great place to go when wanting to save some money watching a shorter film somewhere in the 1hr 30-40min range, but for anything past this duration the seats tend to wear out their welcome on your backside.

Went this Saturday to see a 4:00pm showing. Got tickets, popcorn drink and went to get our seats. Previews start and about 5 minutes in the previews stop and the lights come on. The manager comes in and says there had been a technical difficulty, transformers was sold out so they needed to use the theatre we were in for transformers. The manager said they would give free tickets so we can come back and watch any movie we want. I asked the manager so the technical difficulty is in the theatre where transformers is playing but we have to leave. He said yes. I told the manager I didnt want tickets to return I wanted our money back, which we received. I just could not believe it. We will not be returning.

Prices r great, consession prices r very reasonable, but we got the popcorn & my husband & 6 yr old son got very sick from it that day i did not eat the popcorn . seems we wernt the only ones that day, there was popcorn filled puke in the parking lot. ive been several times & this was the first time we got sick.I think it was just a bad batch of oil or butter.but all round its a good theater & i will continue to go. i think the popcorn thing was just a freak mishap.

This place just opened their doors back up after closing down once before, my husband and I went here for a movie and they said that we couldent watch the movie because not enough people showed up to watch it?? As were paying customers and this was really a waste of our time driving to this place , we will definitely find a new theater to go see movies... This is no way to run a movie theater they will be closed down again in no time....

The theatres are small but comfortable and relatively clean. The price is almost half of what you would pay at other theatres in Ocala, $6, evenings. They also have specials for week day nights. My friends and I like to go on Tuesdays, as it is ladies night, free popcorn. Great place for "girls night out." The selection of movies is significantly less than a multi-plex, but they usually have the top movies that are out.

The price for admission and popcorn are great. In reading the other reviews people seem to like the new seating, however, I felt the seat rows were too close together and they were not staggered as they are elsewhere. I almost could not see over the seats and if someone was sitting in front of me I would not have been able to see the screen. Alao, I felt like i was sliding downhill! Sorry, everything else is great

My favorite movie theatre! Price is affordable. Love how its not super congested. Snack bar affordable and yummy. I prefer ocala center 6 popcorn over hollywood 16, thats just my preference. Grateful for the upgrades, makes it more appealing to every customer and increases customer comfort. I love how hassle free and everyone to themselves atmosphere. THANK YOU OCALA CENTER 6

The new owners have really gotten the old theater back into good shape. It looks almost as nice now as it did in its heyday back in the early 90s. They have fixed the surround sound, repainted, cleaned thoroughly and charge much lower prices than the Wallywood 16. Its worth a look, especially if youre like me and tired of dealing with the crowds at the super-dooper-megaplex.
