Worst Theater I have ever been to. I was false advertized by the images on their website displaying the reclining chairs and got their old, squeaky, uncomfortable chairs. (This was the reason why I chose to go to showcase cinemas in the first place). But this was the last "surprise" I discovered during my visit. My date and I planned to use a Fandango gift card that can be used to purchase any movie tickets. They did not accept it. So I had to pay with my own money in which I was saving for gas. Since my date felt bad that I had to pay, he offered to pay for drinks and snacks. Which were... 1) WAY overpriced, 6.25 for a SMALL icee And 2) The pretzel I had was stale, whereas my dates nachoes were fine, but the cheese tasted off. My overpriced icee didnt even taste like the cherry icee that I ordered, hell, I NEVER EVEN TASTED ANY CHERRY. All I tasted was iced sprite. The cashier was also a dick throwing offers of buying anything else in our face, where the prices were already outrageous and we had already made our final picks clear. Now I understand that they have to say it, but seriously, this just makes the customers pissed, personally it made me want to punch out the guy. Also, there were 20 minutes worth of trailers which drove me up a wall, way too many. Their own advertisement for getting snacks was really pushing it, it was as if they were shoving it into your face so you could buy it. Unbelievable. Plus, the place seems like it hasnt been "updated" since the 1980s, I felt like I was walking through an abandoned building that youtubers like DanBell go and explore. NEVER going to this place ever again. I want my money back.

This is coming from a person that works there. The ushers are absolutely great and will bend the rules if something goes wrong, we usually are very nice and most of the time genuinly love our jobs. the cashiers try their best and the concessionists are pretty good on a good day. Although, every department comes with their share of problems. Some ushers are just dumb and dont know their jobs well and its the same with the concessionists and cashiers. If you go to this place alot youre bound to have something go wrong with something, but 99% of the time its resolved within a matter of seconds. Overall if I had to rate this place it would be probably one of the best movie theaters in the entire state and the only one I will ever go to. The people are great and theres a certain vibe that comes with the atmosphere. Im an usher but this review is completely non biased because I couldnt care less if the placed burned to the ground tomorrow.

Went to a weekday 12:00 oclock showing at the Showcase Theater in Warwick, R.I. We arrived early so we ordered two small soft drinks at the hot foods concession. We were charged $10.00 for the two small drinks. We sat at one of the many small tables and noticed a cardboard standing price list. There was one on every table. The price of a small soft drink was listed @ $3.99. When I questioned this I was told those prices were for another concession in one of the theaters way down the hall. It didnt mention any concession on the price card. The theater was so cold I had to wear my gloves with my coat and was still freezing through the movie. My husband, who normally doesnt feel the cold said he was freezing also. A good movie that we would have enjoyed more had we not been so cold. Overall this theater left a bad taste at our last visit. We may not go as often, if at all, if this will be the experience.

Well, it was very bad today. Huge line and only 1 young lady selling tickets, yet 6-7 at the concession stand. I asked a worker there to tell the manager. The worker said there she is. When I mentioned that there was only 1 person selling tickets (and this is a huge place) the manager just shrieked. I suspect she could have done it, or had another employee help out. The manager was doing nothing with 2 other apparent employees at the time. Hell, the bar was even open. Bad, bad customer service, so I just left. The manager could have said "Ill get someone over there", or "Ill do it myself, but did not." Frankly, she was scary.

I use to go here alot, but now I never do. The place is always like a ghost town, not many go here or work here. Most of the time, you will be sitting in a theater alone by yourself. The sound system works fine but the projector screens are rather aged. The food and drinks available are average theater foods like pizza, popcorn, candy, and such. The cleanliness of the place is not the best, you can always find food or dust in the theater rooms but the hallways, bathrooms, entrance, and such are fine. But is it worth the prices they ask for? no, your better off going to a Imax

I have been to this theater multiple times this year (2015). The staff is friendly and the theaters are clean with no sticky floors or seats. The screens display ok but as another reviewer mentioned, they are getting old. The sound system is the weakness of this theater. It is not THX certified and the rear surround channels are quite hard to hear. I can recommend this theater for a good night at the movies as long as youre not too particular about the sound system.

I see lots of movies here..its a great cinema with a lot of movies to offer at one time...I like the added coffee Shop & Food Court..the prices for food are just ridiculously high and Ive always said people with certain diets and cannot eat certain foods they have at their counters should be allowed to bring them in & they now reserve the right to check your packages or purses...if anyone asked to check my bag Id walk out and never return..

Im a huge movie buff and come here as often as possible. The theater is always clean, movie plays on time, and I think of the hundreds of times Ive been there was only one occasion where they had technical issues. Snacks are overpriced as are all movie theaters but smuggle some candy in and youll be good! Oh, and definitely get their Starpass, I get free stuff all the time!

Why is Creed only showing at 9:25 PM every day? The popcorn is not made at the Cinema. They pour it out of a bag. For all that money, it should be made their fresh daily. They do a good job of cleaning the place. Wondering why concession near rooms are closed all time forcing you to go out to the main lobby. Wishing that they would bring back holiday classics next year.

As far as movie theaters go, it is just fine. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, and the popcorn is always good. I would recommend some of those tasty toppings for popcorn that is offered in other states. I tried cheddar in Arizona, but the sweet and salty topping that turns ordinary popcorn into kettle corn is also very good.

For better out worse, this is the best theater in southern Rhode island. The prices are high, the portions are small and 3d is outrageous. The theaters themselves however are clean and spacious, with little to no noise bleed from adjacent theaters. If youre gonna go out for a flick, come here, but bring your own food and drink.
