I am a native Charlottean and saw "Mary Poppins" in this theatre when it showed there in the 60s. It has been my favorite theater, since the old "Carolina Theater ," in uptown Charlotte, was closed. The Park Terrace has been updated since its founding, and has modern, multi-auditoriums, with stadium seating; yet, it has managed to maintain its neighborhood feel, and is part of our beloved Park Road Shopping Center, the first strip shopping center in Charlotte! There is easy access to the theatre, good concessions, and friendly staff. As long as movies are shown in movie theaters, I hope I can watch them at the Park Terrace 6!

Discovered this move theater sells wine! Smaller theater and older, but it gets the job done. The parking is getting tight, but you usually dont have any problem finding a spot, you might just have to walk across the large parking lot. Its also great if you want to eat before your movie because there are a lot of choices in the plaza you can pick from and then just walk on over to the movies.

I live in the neighborhood and love this theater and go either here or the Manor all the time! I love that they have wine and beer although I rarely get it because you have to drink it from a plastic cup. I love the indie films and love the intimacy of the theater. I recently saw Hacksaw Ridge (

Great place to see smaller/indy films. They have small theaters, but they have been recently remodeled. Their setup in most theaters is for groups 15-50 at your average movie. Good sound set up as well. Its a great place to see films that receive Academy Award nominations.

I like this theater because they show a lot of films that are more acclaimed for their artistic value than for how much money they earn at the box office. It isnt the newest theater but its clean and the staff are always polite.

Seats were a little worn and hard to get out of, but enjoyed the small theatre! Not busy so seemed like a private showing. We saw a foreign film and it was the only place in Charlotte it was showing!

Favorite movie theater in Charlotte! Not the spot for the blockbuster releases but thats not why you go here. Old school, crowded but never feels that way. A must visit and great for date nights.

Was impressed with the theater when i got inside, decievingly large and had about 8 theaters. They show some different movies here so look in advance at what they are showing

Love that they show independent films, the only thing missing is upgraded seating. However, Ill happily deal with the older seats to watch a quality film.

Usually not crowded, dont always just play the blockbusters. Do a nice job of knowing their zip codes customer movie preferences.
