Theres a old-school intimacy to this theater that you just dont get with the modern ones with a marketing mentality that screams move-em-through-and-get-em-to-spend-a-bunch-on-extras. No, its not filled with recliner seats like a newer theater, but interestingly enough, its also not filled with texting talking patrons either. Bottom line? Staff is friendly. The popcorn is the best. And if the same movie is playing here or at another theater, I choose here.

Love this place. My favorite place to go and watch movies. Great location, cozy little theater. Only two movies, but they are always interesting ones. Great place for independent movies and documentaries. If and when this place is ever torn down for a mixed use retail/apartment complex, Im moving out of Charlotte. LOL

Come for off-the-wall movies. Stay for an off-the-wall locale. Dont expect the comforts of your typical suburban theater. This one will take you back, but if youre open-minded, youll have a pleasant experience, especially due to the fact that this cinema shows movies you cant find playing elsewhere in Charlotte.

Very small theater with an old school vibe. Dont visit for reclining chairs or a full on meal with your movie (as a millennial, this is what Ive grown accustom to). If you are looking for a pleasant movie going experience with great Indie films, pay this place a visit :)

Best in Charlotte in my humble opinion. Excellent attentive, friendly staff with only two theaters. Best foreign films are usually here as well award winning US films. Good selection of snacks. Ive been a fan for 30 years!
