Typical day at the movies. Have to bring a jacket sometimes, but much rather have A/C than not. Plus an excuse to cuddle up to a date. Prices for food and beverages are ridiculous (like any cinema ever, thats expected). That being said, food quality and portions could be way better than generic hot dog/pizza/chicken strips or prepackaged nachos and cheese, with jalapeño slices that you have to ask the staff to fetch from elsewhere. Maybe thats just Rave cinema standard. While Im at it it would be nice to have butter on all the popcorn as opposed to just the top layer. Seating aisles, bathrooms, and common areas could be mopped/swept and cleaned MUCH better. Best bet is going on discount Wednesday or catching the first showtime so you have the five or six dollars you save on the tickets to purchase a small soda. Unremarkable ticket and food staff, except for that same guy (hes been here for years) that tears the ticket stub, so energetic and happy, hes the friendliest guy on the property.

Even among other Rave Cinemas, this one is pretty outstanding because of the quality of the employees. From James, the incredibly friendly and funny greeter (be sure to tell management that he is great, if you get a chance to do so, he certainly deserves it), to the concessions staff, to the management, everybody seems genuinely interested in serving customers and making sure you enjoy your time there. I only have two quibbles: 1) I wish they had online reserved seating so that we didnt have to stand in line for popular movies and know exactly where to sit. This is especially valuable for people with disabilities that make starting in line a torturous experience. 2) A restaurant experience in the theater would be much better. Ive been to these type of theaters in California and Arizona and they are an amazing experience.

Yes the seats are comfortable but its the service that makes this place. The ticket taker guy interacts, jokes, animates and is just generally unusually upbeat. He makes the place. Anybody that goes to West Springfield has interacted with this guy and everyone has come out better because of it. You dont see that kind of effort/enthusiasm in almost any line of work anywhere. Hes a stand-out and keeps me coming back to West Springfield to watch my movies.

I wish they would show more of the art films, one has to go to Amherst usually to see them, as I live in Westfield. Good theater, clean, staff is very nice usually - the app for benefits does NOT work - only issue, I tried even with help from the staff many times - and it will either say already registered or access unavailable. Popcorn is OK too. Prices reasonable. Seats very comfortable too. Junk food prices are high, but they are at every theater.

Despite Springfields crummy reputation, Rave is actually quite clean and professional. Seating is comfortable and not cramped (although honestly cant remember if the arm rests fold up), screens are large, and the sound is probably 8/10. Ticket and concession prices are par for the course, so its not really any bargain, but overall its a good theater and does justice to movies that are high-action and heavy on the sound effects.

A lot of people are saying the reviews are fake or whatever, well this one isnt haha. A nice cinema, workers are really nice, seem laid back but not unprofessional, in a good way. Yea the prices are a little steep for food, but with a Dollar Tree across the street its hard to compete. Overall I heavily recommend this place, its great.

This Cinema theater could serve better with 5 stars. If they offer closed caption (CC) on movie screen or to wear CC glasses for Deaf & Hard of hearing. Instead of using the silly bar hanging closed caption device. If regal offer closed caption glasses, why cant Rave Cinema same A wider relaxing seat would also approve.

I just moved to town and this was my first time there. Prices are lower then the theaters I used to go to in my old town. There were no technical problems with the audio or film. Lobby, theather, and restrooms were clean and well maintained. The snack bar has a wide variety of options. I will visit this theater again.

The seating is the best! Theaters are rarely crowded except on rare first night releases of big movies. Pricing for refreshments is typical for a theater and really can get VERY expensive if you are a family of 4 so be for warned!!! That being said this is the only place I go to see movies a really good experience

Lol, a collection of obvious fake "generated" reviews above... Ill give this theater a 1 star because on my 3rd visit the film got stuck halfway, and despite the spectators in the audience being clearly upset, 20 min later no one bothered to resume the film. Ruined the movie for me ! RIDICULOUS

Best cinema around but they know it. Poor service. Power went out during the movie. Not their fault. Usher came in to announce free movie passes to be distributed at end of the movie. Movie ends. No passes. Would have been less dissatisfied if they just fixed the movie and didnt offer anything.

Good spot for access and parking. The cooked to order food (hamburgs, dogs etc...) sometimes seems old and stale and they are sometimes overwhelmed with orders and take a long time. I wish i could tell before ordering how long it will take and if the buns will be as hard as rocks.

Good place for the family. Would give it five stars but the staff behind the concession stands for food need improvement. It took 30 minutes to prepare a hotdog. I understand they are busy but every time I asked someone if it was almost ready they would say yes and move along.

Your standard movie theater:easy to find, big parking lot, concession stand, clean theater. Theres not a lot of leg room for people to walk by in the theaters and the arm rests dont lift up and the seats arent plushy if thats what youre looking for.In general its a good place.

It was horrible people were talking through out the whole movie .When we walked into the movie theater we saw people having sex in the back corner I talked to the manger a bunch of Times .They dont clean up all the trashed lefted in the theater that people leave behind

Clean, quiet, expensive food prices. Usually packed when a good movie comes out. Last time I went I saw "Wonder Woman" epic movie BTW. To watch a movie I usually go here or somewhere farther, I try to stay away from the SPFLD crowd/atmosphere if possible.

Dont understand most of the comments here. There are discounts every day for the 1st show. You just have to keep on top of when what comes out. Its not crowded early in the day. Pick a rainy day for your movie. Just takes some planning.

If you see a movie on Wednesdays the ticket prices are reasonable however, any other time really expensive as well as the popcorn, candy, & drinks....which I personally think the food is not that good to be charging so.....much...

Horrible. Two girls talked throughout the entire movie, when I first walked in there was a couple having sex in the top row, floors were covered with popcorn and trash, had to talk to the manager multiple times about the problems.
