The venue itself is amazing and easy to fall in love with – rightly so. Working with the Lodge pre event was good; however this went extremely sour on the day of our wedding. To begin with, we clearly asked for a set amount of tables which was drawn up into a floor plan and sent to us by the Lodge. However on the day itself, we were two tables short. You would think it was an easy fix and the on day coordinator (Connie) could just add another 2 tables and chairs but no. Connie wouldnt help resolve this and we were left embarrassed when guests didnt have a table to go to after reading their table on the seating chart. No compensation from the Lodge and its been brushed under the carpet post the wedding. Whilst I (the groom) was getting changed in the grooms room, Connie came in and said our servers were not allowed to provide the waiter services as they were not employed by our caterers. Even though we had servers, a contract in place and the Lodge knew about all external staff prior to the event, Connie was insistent on saying no because the serving needed to be done via our caterers. Imagine the situation I was in - trying to relax for the evening, but having to face Connie with this issue and her reluctance to provide a resolution. Moving forward in the evening and to add to our embarrassment, Connie would not allow the servers to serve water prior to dinner being served. NONE of our guests got any drinks prior to the buffet opening for dinner. We received many comments on this post the wedding. This restriction made no sense. Although Lindsey and Amber are easier to work with, the Lodge has let us down and they fail to acknowledge this. Connie on the day itself, was completely unhelpful, unwilling to work with us, extremely rude and unprofessional - this accountability falls to the Lodge. Dont just fall for the venue; edge on caution as you could be burnt by the delivery of the event, just as we were.

We had SUCH a wonderful experience with The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls! Lindsey was always so helpful and so so sweet, even when I randomly popped in one day to see if I could show my dad around really fast she was so quick to offer a tour and her time. The day of went wonderfully and everything was in place exactly as we asked! They worked really well with my coordinator (Audrey from Timeless Beginnings) and they had so many wonderful vendor recommendations for me. Their onsite caterer is SUCH a wonderful addition! We could not be more pleased with our decision to use BVF as our venue. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone for any kind of event!

My daughter got married here and it was truly beautiful! Such a gorgeous and exquisite location. The beauty and service is tremendous. It is a place youll never forget if youre wanting a unique and beautiful setting. Truly a top 10 location for a wedding in the San Antonio and surrounding area. The ability to have paves to stay on site as well as the location itself makes it a place that is worth the investment for a wedding location.

This place is so loud that on more than one occasion the Comal County Sheriffs Department has received complaints from nearby residents that have had the peace and serenity, that they have enjoyed for over 20 years, destroyed. Although the staff has been notified many times, they continue to have a huge disregard for the enjoyable hill country living environment that they have totally destroyed. All in the name of progress and $$$$$.

Lindsey and Amber were true professionals. They handled all of our needs throughout our journey that ended in such a special way. The Lodge was a perfect event for our 100+ guests. We had many vendors and moving parts but the lodge was able to handle it all with ease. Excellent Venue at a competitive price--FIVE+++ Stars!!

Cant say enough about this place. The staff was extremly helpfull along the way.I would highly recommend staying onsite the casitas were perfect and the house with the basketball court made for the perfect rehearsal dinner spot and wedding afterparty. Thanks so much for making our wedding unforgettable!

This is the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen. The building is exquisite and the property is so peaceful. The waterfalls are what really set this venue above the rest. We are attending another wedding here tomorrow and are very excited to have the opportunity to visit again.

Romantic & Picturesque. This spot is well suited for pictures. The outside has perfect location by the water for open air events. You almost want to scale the other side to get on top of the wall to view the spot from above or to imagine what it would be to view this place via drone.

Went here for a wedding as a groomsmen. Great location and the entire wedding party stayed on site for the weekend. Really a spectacular weekend due to the fact we all were together the entire time.
