Our server Gretchen was awesome as was the food, but thats basically where the good comments end. This was our second visit to Cinnebarre at the Arboretum, with the first time being a fantastic experience. When we came in on Saturday, 6/22/13, we got to the theater about an hour early, so our foursome could grab a pitcher of beer before the show. The bar staff and servers were slammed, which is totally understandable. However, there was a young male gentleman with a gray t-shirt that had "Manager" written on the back, but apparently that means something different at Cinnebarre. He was absolutely useless to the servers, just walking around, got himself something to drink, and then proceeded to get in a conversation with someone who seemed to be there off the clock. He could see people at the bar, waiting to be served; he could see that the servers were slammed, and trying to keep up, yet he did nothing but amble around like he had no cares in the world. When I asked one of the servers why he wasnt doing anything (while we were just waiting to be greeted, no one had come to talk to us after 10+ min. at the bar.), she gave us a look as if it seemed like typical behavior, and obviously couldnt do anything about it. We came to see "This is the End," which is about potheads and the apocalypse; I hope this is enough to tell you that if we came to see this movie, were generally not that hard to please. However, as someone who works in customer service, to see someone being lazy, especially at a leadership level, almost physically pains me. We got so frustrated at seeing him do nothing, that we took our pitcher of beer to our theater so we didn’t see him anymore. Also, its then not surprising that on your website youre hiring for all positions at this location. Going forward I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone, at least until you get your staff in order, and have management there that holds people accountable. Last but not least, you have GOT to rethink the independent, film-school shorts you’re showing before movies. They’re weird as hell, make no sense, and are terrible to be showing before a comedy.

Poor service. Bad food. What a disappointment! We originally liked Cinebarre and thought it was a great idea to catch a "movie and dinner." When they first opened the service was attentive and the food mediocre. Over the course of time, both service and food have nosedived. This afternoon, my husband and I visited Cinebarre. We arrived 15 minutes before the movie, wrote out our snack and drinks as we have done in the past. Nothing happened and no one showed up to take our order. 45 minutes into the movie I slipped out to the restroom, passed a server up at her station chatting, and asked her to take our order. She wanted to know if I had brought it with me. When I replied in the negative, she got it. However, delivered the wrong food and disappeared. 10 minutes before movie end, she delivered the bill, but neglected to return for it. I took it to her. Her excuse was she was "slammed" and didnt like our movie :) I doubt if there were 20 people in all the theaters, but I do appreciate her movie criticism. I didnt like it either, but most especially, I didnt like her attitude. We wont come back. We have given this several tries. Service has declined steadily over the last year as has the quality of the food. We will go back to regular theaters and dinner after.

First time here and i thought the overall Experience was ok. our server was Gretchen and she was very nice. i ordered a beer which came out warm and flat. the pizza i ordered was the gladiator (no olives). reading the other reviews i thought this was safe. it took soooooooo long (almost and hour) to come out but its was well worth the wait. the pizza was AWESOME and hot! I read some complaints online about the temperature in the theater being to cold, well they must have read the review cuz it was hot as hell in the theater. YOU NEED TO PAY IN CASH it took so long for my check to get picked up that im glad i read the reviews that suggested cash payments (if i used my card i might still be there waiting) overall PROS: the pizza was good, the concept was good, the theatre was no freezing, plenty of leg room. silent service (wasnt disturbed by servers walking or noise. relatively clean eating space CONS: the food is expensive. everything takes FOREVER (not the waitresses fault), my beer was flat, and there was something wrong with one of the speakers in the theaters (kept going in an out) would i go again....YES!

HI. i bought my tickets at the box office, staffed by 3 sullen, attractive teenagers. a few moments after the movie started, the ventilation system kicked in...which created a low industrial hum that we had to listen to, throughout the movie. the image on the screen was a bit compromised by a bright light from the camera room, that leaked onto the lower right hand part of the movie screen. our "waiter" was a good guy, very enthused and explained how it all worked. the paper towels are under the table in front of the seating, hanging in much the same way toilet paper is suspended on the side of the stall in a restroom. this grossed me out, slightly, as did the stickiness of the menus themselves. the restroom smelled richly and aggressively of urine cakes (those white discs that you find in urinals) and Mr. Clean. on the plus side, the entire experience was very affordable. i give this establishment the highest marks!

Food is mediocre at best. Usually overcooked and considering how expensive it is, the LEAST the kitchen can do is cook the mediocre overpriced food properly. Waitresses are always sweet but not great at their jobs :( Popcorn always tastes burned even if it looks normal. They dont refill sodas for free ( ABSURD especially at THOSE PRICES!) And of course....it is NOT clean. I have never been there when the bathrooms do not smell of urine, when I was not sticking to the theater floor, seats, arm rests etc. The idea of this place is tremendous.....but the people who are in charge of running it seem to do the least possible food wise and every other way ( cleanliness included) that they can possibly do....and it shows. Really stinks because we wanted to LOVE this place. We have been several times since they opened because we keep thinking they are going to fix this stuff....but it just keeps getting worse. :(

I was charged $1.08 For nothing. I ordered popcorn twice.............. never got my popcorn. Then I got the bill and they charged me for it. told the server, not only did I not get an apology I left thinking all I paid was $3.75 for my beverage and I was charged another $1.08? I called the manager, she said that I could come up there to receive the $1.08...... Really? Why would I go 10 minutes out of my way for you to reimburse me for something you took without permission? She then told me she would give me free movie passes......... Why would I ever go back to an establishment who cannot even bring me popcorn?!?!??!? This is beyond stupid. They took a great idea and executed it poorly. Needless to say I left another message if my call is not returned Ill be more than happy to call my credit card company with fraudulent charges that were applied by this company........
