This is a very nice family hotel, all the interior looks recently decorated, not sure when it was built. Breakfast is not included but we got a "bed & breakfast" rate which got us cooked-to-order omelets etc. + buffet of waffles, muffins, yogurt, juices, etc. for 2 adults & 1 child for $10. Everything was delicious. "Cooked to order" food is brought to your table. And since breakfast isnt "free", it resulted in a much more pleasant experience in the breakfast area (not overrun w/unsupervised children getting free food). There is complimentary coffee in the lobby - quality was unremarkable, but it is available. There is a nice paved trail & creek running just behind the hotel, great for getting out kids energy. The room (2 queen beds) was lovely and roomy & comfortable. The only downside to the room was that the basin, toilet, & shower were all behind the bathroom door - makes "sharing" for multiple occupants a little harder. However I would definitely stay here again. Restaurant & full bar onsite. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed had a big dip in it, which I found very cozy, but it definitely wasnt supposed to be that way. At checkout, I let the front desk staff know, and they offered a free breakfast to compensate us, but since I slept so well we turned it down. Everything was bright and clean throughout the hotel, and the complimentary snack bar was well stocked. After we got home, I realized I left something very important, and the front desk staff and head of housekeeping were both very helping in locating my item and getting it shipped to me (at my expense, which was fine), which involved a few phone calls to get all the shipping details worked out. Each time, the employees were so nice and understanding and patient. Bottom line: well definitely use this hotel again if we need to go to Tyler!

I did not have a good experience with this hotel. After returning to my room from a very long day at work , I decided to shower and decompress... When suddenly I noticed a roach hanging out on the room phone ( Oh the crowning touch) He would not run off when out of fear I began to swing at him with the TV guide paper from the room, I was thinking (Straight out Compton) I did call down to the front desk for a room change and the young lady was very helpful. I will NOT be returning. This hotel is very outdated and based on my encounter with the " fella on the phone". Really need improvement.

The beds were adjustable, so we could make each side harder or softer. The front desk staff were great. The breakfast, though, was horrible. After being in many hotels, Ive come to expect complimentary breakfasts, but apparently Hilton isnt rich enough. A single omelet costs $10.95! Nothing else is priced, but they charge $6 for a waffle that you make for yourself!! Every thing that is offered for breakfast has an expensive price, that they dont disclose to you until after youve eaten. I wont be back, thats for sure.

We were very pleased with the hotel. We had a room with 2 queen beds for the price of $109 a night. There are cheaper rates that are non-refundable. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best weve had. They had pancakes, French toast, and omelettes cooked to order. The swimming pool and spa were OK. The exercise room was great with treadmills, stair-stepper, and free weights. The hotel is also located near a walking trail that goes right past the hotel. There was some covered parking.

I am sitting up awake for the forth time tonight because the night management at this place were having a party at the front desk. This noise was enough to wake me from a dead sleep in my room. I would have a better nights sleep in my car. My wife walked down to complain, and all they said was why didnt we say something sooner, and went back to making noise. I do know this is the worst stay I have ever had in a hotel.

AMAZING! Arrived late in the night, staff was super nice, helped w/ everything. Rooms are spacious, sleek and comfortable. Breakfast was good and yes you have to pay for it. (If you want free breakfast-go stay in a hotel where you can hear all the doors slam)! By far the NICEST place to stay in Tyler!!!!

The only thing that I have to complain about when it comes to this hotel are the beds. The bed is so firm, it feels like youre sleeping on the floor. The rooms are clean, spacious, bathroom is a little smaller than usual (no bathtub in our room), and the staff is very polite.... The beds just suck!

We stayed here with my wedding party for my wedding. Everything was great! The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The breakfast downstairs in the morning was awesome! Definitely will stay there again if we are ever back in Tyler, TX.

It has everything you can think of except a spoon fork or knife I dont care even plastic would have been fine , my family brought over some turkey and squash and I had nothing to eat it with... Except I was able to clean my hands real good and then eat .

Nice hotel but I was disappointed that the breakfast was so much money per person. The beds were hard as a rock so my husband and I hardly slept. The presentation of the hotel was beautiful but unfortunately they wont be getting our business again.

In town for family wedding. Very good breakfast options. Air conditioning was weak at times and the building oddly got hot. Bed had "adjustable" firmness but really just felt like it was two different levels. Altogether a good hotel experience.

Theres a reason this is rated the best hotel in Tyler--because it is! We stay in Tyler regularly and now that weve found HGI we wont be staying any where else. The indoor pool just put it over the top! Very clean...and super friendly staff.

This is possibly the nicest hotel in Tyler. Helpful and friendly staff recognizes regulars. Rooms are clean and facilities are new. The location is pretty good too...be sure to get out back and enjoy the river trail through the trees.

Man I absolutely love everything about this place so everytime I come to Tyler it is to this place I stay. From the breakfast to the jacuzzi and pool to the dine and bar it is the best by far. Try the suit and be amazed fa sure.

Looks nice. Its clean. Adjustable firmness on mattress is a plus if it worked. Uncomfortable beds. Breakfast isnt complementary, 10.95 if you eat breakfast here. Most other hotels are included for free.

Just the best! The room was clean and well maintained. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This is the only hotel we will stay in Tyler. We will also look for Garden Hiltons in other places.

The rooms are nice...unfortunately they were full and I had two queen bed room rather than the king. Staff is very friendly and helpful for finding area restaurants. This seems to be a newer hotel and very kept.

Really liked the hotel! The bed had a softness seeing which was nice. I like the room really cool and the AC worked great in late April. Has a hot tub and pool, weight room. Yes would definitely stay they again.
