A friend and I ate at this quaint outdoor restaurant while listening to live bluegrass music and enjoying the old bridge and the river flowing by. The store which is attached to the front of the restaurant had beautiful old creaky wooden floors and it was like a step back into Pioneer times - but quite nice at the same time. Service was given by smiling young people We ate a very thin steak, fresh cooked outside - which turned out to be delicious. Their french fries were thin, crispy, and yummy. Delicious ranch dressing, cole slaw, and tea topped off our meal. They also had several desserts available. Approx. $17 for the meal, dessert, and drink.

Ate at the restaurant today 7-16-17. Worse service Ive ever received there. Sat there for ten minutes and had to go find someone to wait on my wife and me. Once she got our drinks, didnt come back for about another ten mins and said she forgot us. Tea was not sweet. Had to ask for sweet and low to help the tea. Then when we got our food, I ask for ice because our drinks had none, she didnt come back till I had finished eating. Said she got busy. Could tell, she forgot us again. There was fewer people there then than when we got there. Not a good experience today for sure.

Weve stayed in Cabin D twice now and cannot recommend Riverplace highly enough! The cabins are comfortable and very reasonable and everyone at Riverplace is very accommodating and friendly. The food at the cafe is great and there are.lots.of parks and trails within a short drive. Fantastic! Well be back again!

I love to take the drive over to eat there. Simple fare but very good, very generous helpings. Very reasonable prices also. Its a very cute, rustic setting. You can rent canoes or rafts by the day or 1/2 day also. Cabins too. Its just a fun place where you can relax and be yourself.

Came bike touring through on Memorial Day and they were very accommodating! Great country store with everything you could need. Lovely tent camping, very peaceful and scenic. Definitely coming back!!

Was there 8-4-17. Ok...service was medium, but the food and atmosphere was awesome. Live Bluegrass music while you eat. My family lived it. I traveled 40 miles to go there and will do it again.

Cozy comfortable cabins perfect setting.Great restaurant. Very reasonable rates. Our family reunion was a huge success. Cant wait to come back, maybe next June.

This place is great! Clean cabins, good food, very helpful and friendly! The wildlife, peace and quiet, wildflowers, and of course the river! Had a great trip!

Service was slow fish and hushpuppies were over cooked. Had to fight off fruit flies to try to eat. Not very clean. Made me sick. Will never go back.
