I wouldnt even recommend this place to my worst enemy. the manager rupi takes your money and promises you everything from the moon and back and fails to deliver. Quite frankly she is a liar and a crook. A close family friend asked me about this venue after finding out I had my wedding here and saw the yelp review. She never returned my $1,000 security deposit and even tried to take $10,000 from my father after the wedding reception because of fight that occurred at the end of the party by an uninvited guest. She locked us out of the banquet hall and wouldnt even let us back in to get our things!!!!! She yelled and screamed in MY FACE, in laws face and my parents face. I could not believe what she turned into as soon as the party was over. She claimed there was damage inside the hall and when we asked to come in and take pictures she locked us out and said we are not getting our deposit back and also screamed at us that we have to pay another $10,000. When we finally were let in by the police THERE WAS NO DAMAGE!!! SHE LIED!!!!! I demanded my security deposit back and she didnt return it!!!! It wasnt even our fault and she made us feel like we were worth nothing after we spent over $20,000 on the wedding there. Worst of all when we were finally let back in our things were missing including my wedding gifts and my uncles very expensive profressional camera!!! At the wedding she acted like she didnt want to be bothered by anything and was ordering her waitstaff to do HER work!! On my wedding day she made me and my family feel like we were worthless after all the trust and money we put into her and the hall!! Only one of her waitstaff helped us feel a little better and help find and get our things instead of yelling and screaming at us to get out and treat us like animals!! During the party the bar kept closing and reopening whenever they wanted even after we brought our OWN liquour! I dont trust the hall with the liquor you bring, they are crooks!When the bridal party arrived at the hall they were still setting up and hadnt put the appetizers out i was so embarassed when ever body was hungry and the hall was not even ready for our guests.She will promise you everything to get all your money and then on the day it is not what was agreed upon. I told my girlfriend not to consider this place for her wedding because they are crooks and after they get your money they dont care about you or your special day and then even try to extort more money from you!Rupi is sweet and nice to your face when you work with her to make your wedding preprartions but its all fake because after she has all your money your worthless and she could care less. unprofessional and disgusting. My night to remember i felt betrayed and upset beyond beleif. We never got our liquor or our gifts that were missing. Spend your money some place where you can trust the people who really care about YOUR SPECIAL DAY not a fake person who only wants every singel penny from you and then more!

We had my wife 50th Birthday at this location just last week. The manager – Rupi is exceptionally courteous. She worked with us right from day one when we approached her to the date the celebration took place. The space was adequate for our guest. The workers were very hard working and the price is right for what we planned to do. The manager was very accommodating. I was initially hesitant to use the Hall especially for one or 2 reviews I read...but she said we should give her a benefit of doubt and after the celebration, I can make my judgment. I will recommend the location to anyone based on the success of our birthday celebration.. However you need to do your planning, see what they offer and what you will like to have. We are very happy with the result. The parking was a little bit difficult though they have a valley parking, our guest prefer to park their car themselves. On a scale of 1 – 10, I give them 9.

I had my wedding on Saturday and couldnt have asked for a better wedding experience at such beautiful banquet hall. The staff is exceptional especially the lead staff which made us feel like home with such great service while waiting to make our main entrance into the hall. My guests were delighted with the service they received from the staff. The banquet hall looked beautiful after being set the packages are awesome and you have less stuff to worry about on such an important day. Couldnt have made a better choice and definitely recommend this place. Im looking forward to make another party in this location. Rupi, the manager, was always available to speak with and always clarified any concern one has about the party. Thank you for such an amazing wedding experience.

Unsure where to start from. The management team here is amazing; Raj is great with customer service and running the business. More importantly, being a Pakistani, I have to say the food was amazing. We ordered chicken makhni and goat masala with garlic and Keema naan and its the best outside food Ive had; Id definitely say #1 spot in the entire NYC for desi food. Golden Terrace Banquet Hall is professionally managed suitable for any kind of party, friendly staff and wonderful service I attended a wedding reception party, i found every thing was up to the standard. I was here on July 23, 2016 and this place is the largest I’ve seen. 750 persons can fit here. 500 can dance on the floor. It’s also beautifully decorated, clean and neat. Staff members worked quickly to serve everybody who were all happy. Thank you very much Golden Terrace Banquet Hall and keep it going that way.

Best Place for guest or Wedding Reception There are lots of wedding ceremony organizing hall in Atlantic Ave, Richmond Hill, NY but all of them are not in same level.I must prefer "Golden Terrace Banquet Hall" because its exclusive decoration and design as well as ultra-modern contents to impress guests.

The food is amazing and staff is trained and professional. The lighting system and design of the hall is amazing. I definitely book the for my own wedding.

I went this year 2016 Oct and on November 2 both times for take out. Chicken rogan josh and chicken makhni is very tasty. Ras malai is off-course yummy however, their fruit custard tasted very bad and bitter. I am planning to go every month but never getting fruit custard again.
