We stayed at this Ritz for our sons wedding. The venue was about 20 miles away. Alicia Robinson was in charge of our special event - our son was getting married on June 24 in Cordlandt Manor, and we had a block of rooms reserved for guests. Alicia was warm and welcoming, professional, attentive and so very kind. She also navigated a complicated reservation extremely well. I deeply appreciated all she did. When I visited the bridal suite, Alicia had gone the extra mile and had pictures of my son and his bride framed! How many places do that?! Extraordinary! Amazing! Things like that make such a major impression! We were so impressed. Also, a major shout out to Josh Goetz at the front desk. He is so personable, always smiling. I could tell he loves what he does. He also helped me with a complicated reservation. Four out of four stars simply is not enough for Josh!!! Same goes for Austin and Colleen at the front desk!!! I forgot to get the name of the bellman who helped us and our guests throughout the weekend. He also deserves rave praises for his work and attitude. The doorman, Gary, was super friendly and accommodating. All in all, The Ritz delivered the personal services worthy of the name and reputation. Highly recommended.

Abhorrent customer service related to outsourced valet services. The management team at the Ritz-Carlton Westchester absolved themselves of all responsibility related to damage caused to my car by an on-site outsourced valet service (which also didnt reimburse the costs of the damage). There is no warning your are leaving your car with a third party. It is misleading at best. Ritz-Carlton may not be financially responsible for the damage, but your brand is held to a higher standard and judged in a different court. The court of public opinion. I doubt that a company such as Ritz-Carlton, which has worked so hard to build their brand, would want their reputation in the hands of an outsourced company that does not share the same customer oriented philosophy and whose staff clearly does not undergo the same management and leadership training as even the most junior team member of the Ritz-Carlton does. However, that is apparently exactly what the management team at this Ritz-Carlton facility has done. Ritz-Carlton you know better. Your brand and corporate philosophy demand better. Your customers deserve better. If you want outsourced "luxury" with no accountability this is your place.

I have rarely taken time from my busy day to write a review, but I was compelled to after spending a long over due girls weekend at this Ritz with my family! From the moment we pulled up and were welcomed by the doorman, the bellman, from check in to being overjoyed by our huge suite and the bathroom that was gorgeous, to the beautiful pool, the exceptional spa services and the gorgeous spa...the warmth and welcoming birthday cupcakes that were left in our room...we wanted for nothing. We had an amazing time, and will make this an annual experience for sure. We have already recommended you to many of our friends...and my sister and her husband are going back soon for a romantic weekend! What a warm place to stay on a cold winters weekend. Thank you for your hospitality. The only small thing is that I did not think that the Spa food lived up to the ambience and service and if it were lifted only a bit it would be extraordinary.

Had a 3 rooms booked in my party. The shower may be fancy marble but its pretty much useless. The water pressure is terrible and the shower head is 2 feet above your head and Im 63 so by the time it hits you it feels like a light rain shower. I also hate the overall layout of the bathroom but thats just my take on it. The room also comes with a crestron touch screen to control the lighting and temperature. It did not function in any of the three rooms. The bed is extremely firm but not terrible. Also the pool has been closed since hurricane irene. Its been 3 months already. Besides that, the staff are friendly and courteous and helped us with check in check out and everything in between. The rooms need some.work and if done should allow this place to reach five stars. I did make these thoughts and issues known to the staff upon checkout. Id give it a 3.5 but google allows me either 3 or 4.

Disappointing service. First impression was excellent but later proved to be major shortcoming of management in providing general common service such as housekeeping ( even bed linens were not changed) and we are talking about an expensive high season suit! Clearly understaffed. There is no breakfast place, the breakfast is served at the lobbys lounge, among people who are waiting for their cabs with luggage, passing bellboys carrying luggage, the buffet exposed to passerbys in the hotels corridor ! Very unheigenic. There is no lounge bar. So if u want a drink without kids shouting or running around, u cant get it, unless you go to the BLT Steak restaurant, adjacent to hotel. The good point of hotel is its SPA. Very nice staff , with attention to customers feedback and excellent service. Mind you that their system is separate from hotel. Also pool and gym are very good.

Hands down the best service you could ever receive in a Hotel. I recently traveled to the area for the first time for automotive training along with two other colleagues. We were taken care of by Alicia at the front counter, she always greeted us with a huge smile and was beyond outgoing. After joking about the Ritz having the best cookies ever, Alicia explained that they did not have any at the time-bummer! After a night in the city, we come back to The Ritz to find fresh baked cookies in our room!! She went beyond my expectations and delivered a true "Ritz-Carlton" experience. Alicia is a huge asset to the company, we will be back. Alex D. Fort Wayne, IN

Great overnight with my BFF! The room was large and nicely appointed. The bathroom was spacious and super clean. Dinner at the restaurant and lunch in the lobby was tasty!! Service was wonderful. My only complaints are that the drawer containing the safe fell out of the dresser (almost onto my foot, which isnt very safe!), we didnt get turn-down service, there were no slippers in the room, and the spa relaxation room needs a refresh (there are stains on the carpet and chairs). We had a great time though!

Hotel was nice clean and very accommodating. I accidentally left my charger in my hotel room and they mailed it back to me. The one issue I had was with the valet parking, it took 30 minutes to get my car. People can call down to have their car brought up, but if you are standing there waiting you have to wait in line until those other cars are brought up even if the people arent there. I think someone standing there should take priority over someone that calls down.

Beautiful rooms and wonderful service. Amazing tub and shower. I do wish the rooms had more outlets, for all the devices that need to be charged these days! I love the scent of the shower gel and shampoo! I grab them all whenever I stay. Pool is Great, even had a few toys for the kids! Service in the restaurant area is a bit slow though. Love that they have a game room and mini library for the kids.
