My dad and I decided to play a quick 9 holes yesterday before watching the second half of the football game.I have played at HH a handful of times and usually it is a decent course. We are not good golfers but we do enjoy just going out on a beautiful day. We decided to just do the precision course with cart for $19 a person to get done a little quicker, this was our mistake... The course was in HORRIBLE conditions. First of all, there were no tee boxes cut out and no markers were out to delineate tees. It looked like it hadnt been mowed in a week. The same applies for the fairways. Not mowed and divots everywhere. Probably the worse part, however, were the greens. There were patches, unevenness, and even dead spots on the greens. The main course is fun and usually in good condition but I cannot recommend the executive course to anyone. I have done several precision/executive courses and this is BY FAR the worst one I have been on.

25May2014 Its been a couple years since Ive played this course. I enjoyed it then and played it often. Played it this weekend and wow was I disappointed. This course was not presentable to have players on the course. A major dandilion problem they dont seem to want to deal with even on the T boxes. Many days behind on the mowing. At noon on the back 9 we had a big tractor mow beside us mowing 6" of grass, another guy drove a mower behind my friend 20 yards as he was about to chip and 2 young guys with weed whippers. Spoke to "Director of golf" Tom Voyer about the lack of care in a potentially great course again. He had a "ok, what ever dude" attitude but agreed the course condition was not good. Its no way even close to the $45 for 18 holes they charged. Too many other courses in the area to chose from to play a game of golf with a great experience.

No stars. Horrible experience. No ranger on the course. When we got to the 10th tee we found a six-some and a five-some playing in front of us. Called the pro shop and talked to Brad who said he would call some one. No one came out to break up the six-some or the five-some. A few holes later the cart girl said she would try to contact the pro shop about the six guys playing together. No ranger ever came out. When we finally finished our round there were two young men in the pro shop who I guess were working but appeared to be practicing putting. Maybe thats why no one was available to come out and break up the inconsiderate golfers ahead of us. If you have to play the course, which I do not recommend, better hit all your shots in the fairway because you have to be right on top of your ball before you can see it in the rough.

This course needs a ton of attention. The greens are in horrible shape. Bald patches everywhere. The cart paths for the most part in my opinion require the golf carts to have an installed seat belt. Golf cart was filthy. Landscaping was in complete disarray. 24$ for a 9 hole and cart is atrocious for the condition of this course. Bathrooms on the course look like theyve been installed back in the 70s. The most disturbing thing about this course is that the tee boxes were in shambles. If you absolutely need to golf here, make sure you bring your favorite ball, the club house has a ridiculously small selection of balls. All of which are priced at 1$ per ball above the price of any major retailer. Overall, Ive deficated in better places than the shape of this course.

If I could leave zero stars I would, let me begin. First of all when we arrived at the course the woman working the counter was extremely rude, we had a 1230 tee time and she was rushing us to turn by three even though there was a four and two some right in front of us. After that she gave me a cart filed with trash and broken tees all over the place what class. Dont even get me started with the course, when walking up to the first tee it was filled with weeds a simple fix one would think and by the time we got to the greens it was covered with snow moss. this course is poorly managed and even if golf now had a free tee time I would not book it dont event try to tell me this course is top 20 in Michigan what a joke stay away from this place far far away.

What can I say.....I love this course and have since it was first introduced to me back in my high school days. Not extremely difficult, but the greens will definitely test you. What most people dont seem to understand is that this is a family run course. That is exactly how they treat their regulars, like family. The current staff take serious pride in providing a good experience to their customers. This course is not operated by a big golf management company that has a large financial backing. So you may have dandelions and clover. So what? Suck it up buttercup!!! This course provides a great test of golf, an extremely friendly staff and cold beer!!!!! What else do you really need? They have made a customer for life!!!!! Keep it up!

I have been here a few times and wanted to write an updated review from 2 years ago. Right when you walk in the door the experience is awesome because of the staff. Very courteous and helpful. This course has red, white, blue and black, championship tees. I believe the whites are short and great for average golfer. The blues are just right for your 5-12 handicappers. There is a good mix of hard (tree lined), fun (driveable) and easy (reachable par 5s). They also have a driving range and an executive course. The executive course is nothing but easy, short holes. Great for beginners and kids. You can even bring out kids for free on Sunday!! Find a great deal on GolfNow and it makes it worth the drive!!

This course is way too expensive for what you get. The Fairways and greens are nice, but the rough is untouched. There always seems to be Trees fallen around the course...and when they are there, they are there for weeks. You have to be right on top of your ball before you can see it if you are off the fairway. The service inside the proshop is inconsistent because they always seem understaffed. The Restaurant looks like it hasnt been updated in 40 years. They pack the place so bad during twilight hours you will be lucky to get 9 holes in. Save yourself some money and go to Captains Club in Grand Blanc....or even Bramblewood in Holly.

Paid 25$ for late golf and that is the most I have paid for courses in area. The course itself is not well maintained and all things there were old. Staff was not polite. There were geese all over the course and pooping everywhere combined with feathers and leaves everywhere made it hard to find my ball. Course is also not well marked where to go for the nest hole and I found myself driving around looking for it. Staff told me it was a respectable place to golf which I 100% disagree with. I dressed like I normally do for golf and felt out of place thgere. I do not recommend golfing here
