If I could give no stars, I would. This hotel is extremely unprofessional. I have been waiting for a call back from them for the past WEEK. And everytime I call to get through they tell me the person I wish to speak with is "out of office." ( I refrain to mention any names because I dont want to bring embarrassment to anyone.) The hotel, for the most part, is clean. However, there were a few stains on the outdoor furniture. The food was great, I must say, but room service took two hours each time we delivered (to be fair, they did tell me it would take an hour- but two??). The rooms kind of look like how they look on the website- pillows, robes, and all. But I couldnt help but feel the images on the website misled us a bit. The room didnt look as crisp and elegant as pictured. For the #1 hotel in Saugretes on TripAdvisor, I expected MUCH more. All I simply want at this point is to speak with someone from the hotel regarding an issue I had while staying there... If you do stay here, be sure to ask to be placed in a room closest to the fall. They told us all rooms have a view, but unfortunately, they put us in a room farthest from the falls. And we were on our Babymoon!! I hope this hotel improves and lives up to their ratings.

BEWARE! If you care about customer service, do not go here. This hotel charged us for an entire stay that we were unable to make due to a blizzard shutting down all area airports (we could get out of our city but not into theirs) and refused to refund us. We were forced to move our stay and pay a rate that was inflated by 30%... that was then charged to our credit card months in advance without warning or permission. We were charged for an extra day as well. It was near impossible to speak with the hotel manager. It took several attempts to reach her, she was always "out of the office"... never could get a call back from her. When I finally did talk with her she was unimaginably rude, raising her voice and talking over me. Followed up our conversation with email stating my concerns and never got any response back addressing the issues. She never even met with us when we arrived for our stay. We were so disappointed with this experience. I will say though that everything about the restaurant "The Tavern" was phenomenal. The food, staff and manager were wonderful. I would highly recommend visiting the Tavern. Unfortunately though we will NEVER stay here again based on the way we were treated by the hotel management.

This hotel does not have a kitchen in each room, breakfast is not free. Very nice and quite hotel and tavern , beautiful view of water fall. Very close to town of saugerties. Great hiking trail close by to the saugerties lighthouse. The staff is very friendly , had a great experience when i was there bellhop Joseph was very knowledgeable on the surounding area and very friendly , Rachael the front desk associate was amazing , very kind and friendly . Some minor negative feedback toward other employees i am not shy when speaking my mind , Nicole = Very sloppy for the upscale atmosphere , Mark the other bell hop = A little slow when it came to helping out . Gina H the general manager , great personality , Alan the manager was a great listener and had a very positive input in my ideas. Overall 9 out of 10 experience.

Truly an amazing place, with an amazing view. I booked an overnight package, which included dinner at the tavern, and was truly amazed at the value for everything. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and the concierge was amazing. I have already booked by next stay, thankfully we were advised that the hotel books up fast from April to October. The Tavern was very good, and accommodating to diet restrictions. The portions were generous and very well prepared. If you do the hotel package that includes a four course dinner, I recommend you bring a large appetite. Shave room for desert, the vanilla and almond ice cream made with Jack Daniels is fantastic.

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and we return for our anniversaries. The room, as always, is immaculate. The view is exquisite. We got complimentary tickets to the Performing Arts Center so that was a plus. Also, they service the room well, and bring you chocolates each night. It is a shame that the Diamond Mills Tavern was closed this year because we enjoy it, but we found the Red Onion instead, which is great. The only odd part was that when I asked for a late check out, I was told no, but when I asked again the next day, they did give us a half hour so it worked out. We cant wait to come back!

We booked Diamond Hills Hotel because we wanted to do two day-hikes in the Catskills. It worked out perfectly for us. The staff was really friendly, someone who appeared to be the owner told us about the town of Saugertis when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The shower was so nice after a sweaty day in the mountains. We dined at the adjacent restaurant too, which was convenient, and I loved the octopus. There was a waterfall behind the hotel, which we could view from our balcony too. It was overall a nice experience!

We had my Birthday dinner at Diamond Mills last night. We also booked our wedding there and cant wait to celebrate in May of 2014. The food last night was incredible! We left completely stuffed and plan to return next weekend for a tasting for the wedding. We cant wait to go back. The atmosphere is unlike any other place - dining in a truly beautiful setting. I recommend that anyone traveling through stop for a great meal and those who are interested in having their wedding there work with Laurie who so far is fantastic!

Our first Diamond Mills brunch with our favorite house guests was excellent. We moved upstate full time from Manhattan and know good food, presentation, decor and service. Diamond Mill is excellent on all counts. We were so pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in presentation, quality of food and service; details that most upstate eateries would not even consider. This coming Sunday we are brunching again alongside the creek.

My wife and I were at a wedding a month or so ago and it was great. From the views to the catering and the hall 100% rate. Recently I was there to help set up a booth for the local business expo. The staff were very helpful in getting things that we needed like tools, etc. The cocktail hour was terrific. The waitstaff were very polite and prompt. So far my two visits to Diamond Mills have been top notch.

A fantastic place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and have a wonderful balcony overlooking the Saugerties waterfall. The staff are top notch and make the guests satisfaction as their highest priority. They even deliver the most delicious handmade chocolates before bedtime. The Tavern is a great place to dine, featuring beautiful views, wonderful service and an extensive list of food selections.

Our waitress, while smiley and efficient serving our party of eight was oblivious to our conversations and blatantly interupted individuals pushing menus into hands and asking questions without regard to what was going on at the table. Three of us had salmon and we all agreed that each piece was slightly off in smell and taste, a bit too old. It effected my digestive track later.
