This review is real, and I just got back from a 7 hour day there today. Here are my observations: -Parking is free -Facilities are clean, and well maintained. -The arcade area could use some new equipment, and a machine or two wasnt in service. -The price $16, including go-karts and putt putt...what can I say? Legit. -The bathrooms/changing area/showers were clean, and well maintained. -The lockers they rent to you are about as big as a shoe box...leave your stuff in the trunk. -The main water park area with the bucket and the slides were well maintained, with only a few paint chips missing. The water was a good temperature, and was very clean. The water did not smell excessively of chlorine, nor burn my eyes. -The tiki bar area is a little deeper (36") and the area is the designated smoking area, so it smelled like smoke, so I stayed away from the area. I do know that areas water is much warmer than the rest of the water. -The BIG water slides were sturdy, clean, and what you would expect. The green slide is actually quite thrilling...reaching probably 10-15 MPH. The yellow slide is much slower, and better for kids over 48". -The lazy river was nice, what you would expect. The tubes were good quality, and maybe a year or two old. They have double rafts for taking younger kids in (they have a floor in the hole). -The go-karts were great, all ran very well, staff was doing a good job making sure the little (and big too, actually...lol) Dale Earnhardts werent constantly crashing everybody. The two seater cars are much faster than the single seaters....seatbelts in both worked well, and were not twisted or anything. -We didnt do the putt-putt... -The only disappointment was the bumper boats...although, being 28 may not be who those are targeted for....lol. 3 boats were inoperable due to bad solenoids. -The food court had a decent selection of food, and at really great prices considering you are in a captive environment. $6.00 for a grilled chicken sandwich with trimmings, a bag of chips, and a 24oz drink. $6.50 for a cheeseburger, $5.00 for a kids meal... -IN CONCLUSION: An incredible bargain for the price. Soak City is a lot better, but is also JAM PACKED daily, and costs almost triple the price. Not to mention, $17.00 parking at Cedar Point. We ABSOLUTELY will be going back, and very soon at that.

A fun, family atmosphere! I will say that the price for the entire park, (wet and dry) is a bit over-priced. It doesnt say anywhere on the website or any social media sites that the zoo is not even ready. You pay $35, weekends, for a mega pass and the zoo goes with that. Especially for the fact for families who have little ones who might just want a dry pass just for the zoo. Very poor communication on that aspect. Also, the go-karts take FOREVER! We stood in line for over an hour for 5 minute ride. Only reason I did so was because my niece wanted me to drive. As for the "wet" area aka the "waterpark", I think management/owners should think of maybe adding some new water themed areas or maybe get some new slides. Get a slide that you use a inflatable of some sort. The water is VERY VERY COLD! I get its summer time and hot out but having the water between 70°-75° is a bit ridiculous. Definitely dont like the fact with the new owners that we can no longer bring our own food/beverages. I completely understand you need to make money and all that but limit maybe no food or something not both. Or only aloud coolers to be in one designated area. With spending $35 for a ticket, plus gas to drive to and from, and then have to buy lunch at your consession stand, (which is over priced and not much to chose from), some end up spending close to $200, depending on family size. Over all experience, my kids have a great time. The staff in the wet area is awesome. The rest of the staff could use a hug and some training in hospitality. And definitely need to upgrade the outside changing area/showers. Im a female and dont mind changing in front of other women, look we all have the same parts lol, but some women would like privacy. And you do not get that in the outdoor changing area. 3 small toilets, 3 small showers with curtains that dont close at ALL! Plus, all the bathrooms could use more TLC throughout the day.

We had a great time. Weve a 9 and 6 year old and they want to go back soon. My 9 year old son just wanted to ride the go-carts all day, but we played the the water and saw the animals as the zoo was open and very cool. My 6 year old daughter loved it all. My wife actually got a chance to relax in the sun. The food was way better than carnival food. The kids ate a 1/4 lb burger and some of the full pizza. Its not cheap, but it was very high quality. My kids are used to eating organic and this meal was tasty. The pool was warm. The kids play area wasnt warm, but youre moving around so much you get warm climbing and sliding. There isnt a life guard on the kids slides, but thats fine since the slides are slow and have a long exit. I didnt see any kids collide even when they went down one right after another. The large slides did have a life guard telling you when to go. Check in was simple. Just dont bring food or floaty toys. Tip: pack a cooler in your trunk and eat at your car if you want to. You can get back in the park with your wrist band.

During the summer we come up here once or twice a month. Last year we bought a season pass and was able to go there 5-6 times. This year we bought a season pass and they had stated that the holidays are now blacked out for the holiday weekends for season pass holders. Those are three of the six times that we went last year. So this year the season passes that we paid $150 per person is useless. However, if we want to hand over an extra $25 per person, we can attend the holiday weekends with our season pass. If you plan on going there, especially for the holiday weekends, I dont recommend that you get a season pass. Its cheaper just to get a daily pass. Needless to say, we will probably no longer get season passes and probably go only once during the summer. Its really sad. My family loves the place, however with new ownership, always comes changes. Not always for the best for the customer.

Formerly Monsoon Lagoon, they are under new ownership and the place looks excellent!! The staff was fantastic, everyone was very nice and helpful!! The putt putt was updated and looks cleaner and newer-the greens look brand new. The Safari Park was unbelievable!! They have two adorable giraffes that come right up to you. They sold buckets of feed to feed the animals, and it included carrots for the giraffes. They came right up, took the carrot from my hand, and let me pet the top of their nose. All other zoos I have been to you can feed, but not touch. This place lets you do both!! The Zookeepers were very knowledgeable about the animals, amd answered the couple questions we had. Everything was very personable, the animals would come up and would eat right out of your hands too! They were super sweet!! Will definitely keep coming back!!
