Completely awful experience. Went to go see a 10:20 p.m. showing of Free State of Jones. After sitting through a very enjoyable movie, the screen cut out about 1:20 minutes into the movie. Several people, including myself, got up to go look for a manager. The lobby, ticket stand, and hallways were all completely empty. I was finally approached by someone in shorts and a t-shirt. He asked if I needed help with anything so I informed him of the problem. He said that he would see what he could do to fix it. The other people and myself proceeded to return to the theater where we waited for the movie to be rewound and resumed where it cut off. After approximately 15-20 minutes someone came into the theater and said they couldnt get the movie fixed and apologized for the inconvenience. He handed out vouchers to see another movie, of our choosing, at a later date but did not do anything to refund the popcorn and other purchases we made while there. I would love to see the end of this movie, but I just cannot see myself sitting through the first hour and 20 minutes of the movie again, though it was an enjoyable movie.

I used to love this place but it seems as if cinematic is giving up on this place. I dont know why you wouldnt show some of the movies that have just released. I noticed this with several. I noticed this weekend that they werent even showing beauty and the beast. I went to see Logan which Im glad they had but I was astonished to see that the Disney movie wasnt even here. The place seems to be getting run down and less taken care of. I dont know where the problem is but I bet it is on management of this specific theater. If the management would care more and have the place looking spotless and amazing as Tinseltown, the people working there might take pride in it and people would actually like coming there like they use to. Then we could have actual opening movies there again. Its always sad to see a company giving up on something without even trying.

I paid for an XD RealD movie. The movie was awesome of course. However, there was a dark spot on the screen, it wouldve annoyed me if the movie I was watching wasnt so great. I feel like I should rate this place a one because I feel that when it comes to showing movies, the theater should be perfect for movie watching. They need to fix that screen; that should be a priority. Pro: the place wasnt crowded and the seats are comfortable Con: THE SCREEN NEEDS TO BE FIXED Watching a movie on a big screen is the only reason why I would go to a theater, so I honestly wouldnt go back to this place again until I know they fixed the screen. If it wasnt for the screen, I wouldve given the place 5 stars.

Rudest manager that I have ever had to talk to. I was annoyed because we decided to buy the large popcorn - went out for a refill about 30 minutes into the film and the counter was closed. After the movie, I spoke with the manager about it and asked if there is anything he would/could do, and made the suggestion that they put a sign out about closing time. He said they dont give coupons and give the general attitude that he couldnt care less about customers. In addition, there were 2 holes in the screen we saw the movie on (#9). Awful experience; we wont be returning.

It was horrible the lady at the front, ms. Lovington or somewhere along those lines. Its a unforgettable name especially when her boobs are showing. She was rude when it came to the customer service, then she asks what time you want to do, we had already missed the one by 20 min. Idk why she would even think we would want to show up in the middle. Just had a awful experience. She made it so frustrating that I wanted to leave, but.children wanted to stay. Deff wanted to go upfront and get a refund.

Theaters rooms are kind of cramped, screens are huge however. Clerk in the hallway cannot see beyond the back theaters, leading to increased theater hopping between (up to) 4 rooms. Drinks and snacks are expensive and overpriced for what they are. (Ex: $5.45 for 1 small bag of popcorn) Floors are generally clean most of the time and bathrooms are a short to medium walk away from the theater. Overall an enjoyable experience if you BYOS (Bring Your Own Snacks).

Only one complain I have... Avoid their fountain drinks, I think they have not replace the water filter or something is wrong with their ice... I do not know, but we have tried their drinks 3 times and all 3 times we come out with stomach aches or diarreas. (about a month apart) Anyhow their drinks taste bad. Other than that, great movie experience.

Horrible!!!! Only ONE cashier on a very busy Saturday night with a line starting to go around the building!!!!!!! Absolutely horrible management!!!! If I had not promised my 7 year old I would have backed out but I keep my word to her. If I could give less stars than one I would.

I love how it is less crowded, and the seats are nice because they are good for short people. They bring in a good amount of art films as well (bring more!), which is nice because I am not a fan of Marvel movies or children cartoons. I dont understand the 1 star ratings.

the ticket taker was having a prolonged conversation with the customer in front of me and responded rudely when I was forced to interrupt her to ask her to take my ticket because i was missing the movie. I definitely wont see another movie at cinemark 16.

A hidden gem of a theater in Lubbock. Almost never crowded as it lies on a weird location, in the back of a parking lot off an access road, which makes it perfect to catch movies if you want a nice calm theater! Really friendly staff, and clean facility.

Its OK. Im usually happy with watching a movie here. Could be better. Restrooms filthy. No paper towels in restroom, so it takes 30 seconds to do your business and 10 minutes to dry your hands. Nice people and theater facilities, though.

Horrible experience with a family behind us talking loud and kicking the seats, left during previews to notify an attendant but nothing was done. Long story short... Ended in being assaulted in the parking lot by the family!

I love this theater because its never crowded. And its a smaller theater that plays Indi films sometimes that you dont get at bigger theaters. I also like that you actually get leg room for such an older theater.

I like to watch movies here. Less crowded and comfortable seats and friendly staff. Snacks and drinks as usual are overpriced, though. Other than that, no complaints.

82nd street theater has more comfortable seats but this theater sometimes shows lesser known movies and typically isnt as crowded

Always packed and over priced food and drinks but what do you expect. Needs a good cleaning and the staff needs to clean up more.
