This was my first, and more than likely last visit to this theater. I decided to take my entire family plus in laws , since they were in town for New Years, to see the 8pm (8:10)showing of Rogue One. There was a total of 8 of us so we were a large party and we were excited to see this on the big screen. Well me and my family entered and the usher that took our tickets told me if we were all together and I said yes and he said that to make sure we dont disturb the others when we go in.... Now I was very upset as my family and small ones are very well mannered so I was offended but in any case we moved on. We then headed to the concession stand and we ordered some drinks, I myself was not hungry and when I paid for our drinks etc the young lady who was working the register politely asked if I wanted to order food and I tobld her no thank you. She then said and I quote "are you sure you arent hungry sir, Im sure you will be hungry soon" now I was totally thrown back by her suggestion, I am a heavy person and to have someone insinuate that I get hungry often and or because my size that I should order now was utterly disrespectful and I felt so ashamed. I do not think the young lady intended to hurt my feelings but her choice of words and actions was completely inappropriate. At this point I decided to leave and my family, all 8 of us were completely upset, I had to tell my kids sorry and take a huge loss financially as I did pay for 8 tickets and not even see the movie but I felt that my family was insulted and I felt discriminated against due to me being large. We decided to see the movie today at the AMC West gate instead. I feel bad because me and my entire family really wanted to experience the new Harkins and such but Im afraid I may not ever decide to visit again based off my initial and first and only visit. 1 star thumbs down

I think I should first off say that the reviews on this theatre are overwhelmingly positive, and for good reason. The few bad apples in the reviews for this theater either are not reviewing the theatre for things they can control, such as the parking lot or other customers actions. That being said if you ever have a problem at the theatre, the managers are more than willing to help. The parking lot is actually quite large with good spaces, this theatre can however, get record-breaking numbers and the city has yet to build around them so yes, some people do park in the dirt around the theatre. The staff are very friendly and getting very good at their jobs for only being opened so recently (Harkins hired around hundred new workers for this location). This location chose a in-house bar instead of a daycare and with great foresight! Too many people come to this theatre instead of other possible theatres and usually with large parties (so be sure to get seats early!). Pricing is fair with the tickets for the new Cine 1 being $3 dollars more per person. They have 150 Adobe Atmos speakers as well to go along with the new screen so I advise you to check it out! Very well taken care of theatre, new recliner leather-like seats with armrests (personal bubble). Reserved seating as well, along with handicap seats and CC (closed-captioning) devices. Be sure to get those loyalty cups to cut prices if you choose a return visit!

I very very.. Very rarely leave negative reviews.. I went to this theater to see Logan in the cina1 auditorium.. Super excited, right. Whenever I go to movies I have to have my caption box because Im hearing impaired. I can hear quite a bit but the caption box helps a ton. Well I put it in the cupholder, where its supposed to go. And put my drink on it as well . Within two minutes, my drink spilled. I informed the manager, or whoever that person is, in the suit helping people.. And they said it was missing a screw. So they fixed that. The suit guy put it on for me. My boyfriend got me a new drink. I put drink back in it.. Fell again. Tell suit. Suit comes back. Does it for the third time. Boyfriend gets drink. I decide Im just going to put my drink on the floor, because all the cup holders are taken. Even without the drink The caption box did not want to stay in.. So the entire three hours of the movie, I was holding it, to keep it in. It was so distracting and frustrating. When I took the caption box to the front for return.. I said it was a terrible experience for my first time there. NOT ONE PERSON TRIED TO FIX THIS AND COMPENSATE FOR THE THREE DRINKS MY BOYFRIEND HAD TO BUY, JUST TO TRY TO MAKE US HAPPY. Very frustrating. Definitely disappointed.

We got our tickets using T-Mobile tuesdays which its really awesome movie ticket deals. Well they only sent us 2 confirmations rather then 3. The staff at the window was trying to do everything possible to get us our 3rd ticket. And when a solution couldnt be found they called a manager who came to help us out. When we told him we would just buy the ticket and get our refund for the ticket we didnt get a confirmation for, he gave us the ticket for free. And since the movie had already started trying to get the other ticket, the manager allowed us to choose a different showtime so we can watch the whole movie. Which was very accommodating although it wasnt their fault. We drive from 19th ave and Dunlap to this movie theatre because it is clean and the staff is amazing! But most importantly with the reserved seating you dont have to come extra early to find seats next to each other for your party. At this movie theatre you are actually able to enjoy your entire movie because the seats are very spacious and not seating on other peoples laps (figuratively speaking) and dont have to lite to side bars if someone is trying to explain the movie to someone in their party. So I would recommend this theatre to everyone!

The parking situation is horrible, the handicap parking is so narrow and at a lil awkward angle that almost everyone parks in them parks half way in there spot and half way in yours. They also allow people to park pretty much any where they want especially along the drive lane which makes it hard to get around the lot, Ive almost been hit numerous times just trying to maneuver around the lot. The seats are comfortable as long as they have the air conditioning down, occasionally you will get a semi warm theater them it feels like your sticking to the seat. I do enjoy the reclining feature and that you can reserve your seats so you dont have to try to run in to grab the "good" seats before everyone else. The sound system is adequate and makes the movie experience enjoyable. The concession stand does have a lot to choose from, the popcorn is always been fresh and they have lots of different hot foods to choose from, like hotdogs, pretzels, pizza, mac and cheese bites, churros, ect. And they also have always been hot fresh and pretty good. Me and my family are here every weekend and I would love to give this place 4-5 stars if only they would do something about the parking situation.
