Horrible Customer Service. First I contact AMC Stubs at one number given for customer service and as I write this, I am still on hold at 31 minutes and counting. I called on a different number for online sales on a different phone and as I write th is, I am 17 minutes and counting. I selected a movie SING and hit Get Tickets. When I hit SUBMIT for the purchase, the screen went back to the home screen. I checked my email nothing. I went to History on AMC Stubs website and it shows I bought tickets to ARRIVAL, which I have already seen. This is what prompted me to attempt to contact them and for which i am currently on hold. I tried to give feedback but cannot advance to "Continue to Step 3" presumably because I did not enter a theater code. Anyone know where to get the theater code? Went directly to the Theater website, no code there. I went through the feedback process, and it asked for my theater information. i put in Sugar Land, the exact movie time of my last visit, etc. the webpage tells me there is no AMC theater in Sugar Land which is obviously not true as it just sold me incorrect tickets to the "non-existent" theater. Currently, I am at 39 minutes still on hold on one line and 23 minutes on the other line. So, in a nutshell, I have tickets to the wrong movie, I cant reach AMC by phone, by email, online, and I have wasted 40 minutes of my life that i cant get back dealing with AMCs inappropriately named "Customer Service". There is no such thing in my experience as "Service".

I took my family to see Star Wars VII here and was not very impressed by the theater. It looks nice on the outside, but thats where it ends. The area around the concessions was pretty dirty and they were out of ice. The full service bar was a nice touch. I expected first class service for the amount we paid for the tickets, drinks, and popcorn, but they came up pretty short. The theater was TINY. We paid a premium for IMAX 3D and ended up imax 3d. What I mean by that is the screen was junk. I like to take in the entire screen while Im watching a move, I look to the left, to the right, top and bottom to take in the entire scene. If my head were in any position but straight ahead the 3D effect was gone and Id see lines as though I didnt have 3D glasses. There were a few wide angle shots and during these there were vertical lines across the entire screen and all of the colors were washed out. The sound system was decent. The temperature was uncomoftoablly warm through the entire movie and there was an odd odor hanging around. I expect the theater to be just above freezing. That means the air is being turned over and kept clean. I actually felt clammy about a 1/4 into the movie and that feeling never left. I didnt like the seats very much - they had no lumbar support and they didnt tilt at all. Over all I was pretty disappointed with this location. I have been to some other AMC theaters that were great, but this one came up short.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! HORRIBLE PLACE!!! The popcorn is STALE from being pre-bag served (where other patrons can paw though YOUR bag, or worse yet, cough on it (HELLO, flu season!) The seats are OLD, cloth, fixed position VERY UNCOMFORTABLE seats (unlike the nearby AMC Fountains which has LARGE leather electric recliners) The staff must be used to lots of near-by mall kids attending, because they are nothing but down-right RUDE! AND, again, UNLIKE the nearby AMC Fountains theater, this theater DOES NOT accept "buy your tickets & pick your choice seats in advance...first come, first seated ONLY, so you MUST waste YOUR precious time, showing up VERY early in order to get a decent seat...to beat out other people that have no life, and show up stupid early...GRRR!!! We attended today for the VERY FIRST, and VERY LAST time EVER! We ONLY went because the move we wanted to see, "Nocturnal Animals", was ONLY playing at THIS theater. We will wait, in the future, for limited release movies to come elsewhere, or to video... :-( AGAIN...SAVE your time, money, comfort, and MONEY...DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS WORN OUT, RUDE, STALE POPCORN PLACE!!! PS: I can tell that ANY positive reviews of this place are FAKE and/or posted by the staff or management, because they claim the "food is great". NO THEATER have "great food", its all WAY over-priced garbage. If they say otherwise, you KNOW the review is FAKE!!!

Lines to buy tickets are super long simply because they only have a one person at the box office. So just use the ticket kiosk it should be faster right? Wrong! There are 5 ticket buying kiosks but only one works. So just purchase your tickets in advance and everything would be faster right? Wrong! I did that only to find out there is not easy redemption like other theaters in which you just show them a QR code and they can you in. No, you have to go to guest services where there is only one person to help with redeeming tickets. So after standing in line AGAIN because I have to redeem tickets I have already bought I go to the theatre and walk in right? WRONG AGAIN! I show up 30 min before the movie to make sure I get a good seat however they have not finished the showing before mine. In fact after the showing they still need to clean the theater. So in the end I have to fight a crowd to get into the theater and me and my family have to be separated because there was not enough seats in the row to seat all of us. By the time I enter the theater it is 4:42 for a movie starting at 4:45... One of the worst theaters I have ever been to. The outside and inside are good and very clean but the service and appeal ofter this experience is the worst I have ever experienced and will hopefully never have to deal with this theater again.

I gotta bust this down to 4 stars. Why? The concessions area. It plain sucks now! They have this self-service "Grab n Go" thing where you walk by and get what you want to eat off of the shelf and then get in line to pay for it. Some of the popcorn bags are partially filled, and forget about that warm taste. You can forget about fresh, too. Since the bags have sitting out and waiting to be picked up that means they arent freshly scooped when you order it as in a traditional line. After you grab your bag, you get in line to pay for your stuff, where (petty gripe here) you get to exercise extreme self control in not eating it before you can pay, which probably shouldnt be too hard seeing as how you cant butter it until after you pay anyway. Im just saying..., if imma pay $14 for a drink and one bag of popcorn I want it to be a fresh bag, not one off the assembly line. Im not sure if this new format was to make the lines move faster, but it certainly didnt seem to. They need to change it back to the old way. Otherwise, I am more than happy with the price of the movie tickets. Where other theater tickets are $13+ for evenings, this was only $10 for adult and $7.50 kids. I can live with that.
