The seats were comfortable, and the view was good. I saw the latest Star Wars movie here. I had Coke Classic, the kind in the bottle and a yummy box of popcorn. Its ridiculously affordable. The theater when underwent a complete restoration. If you like classic style, an affordable date night option, and something kitsch - this is your place. They show classic movies and current films. The price is affordable, and I look forward to going back.

This is a wonderful, old-style theater! Family run with a friendly staff, lower priced tickets than the big chain theaters, concessions that dont double the cost of the movie, comfortable seats and a charming atmosphere. Tip: the theater sells packs of tickets (2, 5, 10) that come with popcorn and candy, all for less than the regular ticket prices of a regular theater.

The Fine Arts is an old time community movie theater restored for the 21st century. They feature big name, first run movies along with classics and special events. The prices are low, the quality high and the personnel excellent. The Fine Arts is both a going business and effort of love. The staff and the town take pride in what theyve built.

A first-run theatre oozing with small town charm. The fine arts theatre is like something youd see in a movie about the beginnings of the Silver screen in America. It is absolutely beautiful, cheap, and a very special experience. Everyone who lives or visits the area should come see a show here.

Nice remake of a local community theater. Was left to rot - we left a few shoes glued to the floor there ourselves - until local hometown boy made good, Steve Trumble, bought it and redid the whole place, keeping a mid-1940s patina throughout. Remember when going to the Movies was an experience?

I watched The Words here (which I highly recommend by the way). It is a nice theatre. Definitely not as luxurious or as grand as some of the big box theatres, but it is a piece of history that I think is important to experience. Come and check it out for yourself!

Great place to see a movie, Thanks to the new owners for renovating this theater and bring it back to its original state. I have been going to this theater since the early seventies I remember seeing the first Star Wars at this theater.

Love a neighborhood theater. Ancient (not so comfortable) seating, cramped bathrooms, great prices, easy parking, convenient to all the good Maynard foodspots. Atmosphere and good film selections trump the megaplex for me any day.

Good to have a local, non chain option to seeing movies. The theater was sort of renovated a year or two ago after being in terrible shape. They diced the leaking roof. Unfortunately, the seats are still terribly uncomfortable.

Only 3 stars because the theatre is a little outdated. The chairs are not new and the screens are small. Prices are great. It is cozy but some work could be done to it.
