RIPPED OFF!!! First off, this course is nothing special. They think they are, but they are not. Theres TONS of potential there but they dont even do the little things. Like mowing the tee box. I use looong tees and the grass was still touching the ball. Cmon! Theres very little if any difference in cut from fairway to rough on many holes. The greens were, however, in good shape. Now I know what this course is so I want not expecting any thing special. What I WAS expecting was to pay the price I was quoted not only on the phone but what was also on the website. The website said $27. But it wouldnt load to BOOK my tee time so I just called. Knowing that sometimes courses have slightly cheaper rates for booking online I specifically asked what the rate would be for the following day at 8am when I was booking for. "$27 per for 18 and a cart" I was told. Well when we arrived the same grumpy old man from the previous nights phone call told us it would be $35!!! I said no sir, the website says $27 and when I called last night I was told $27. He then yells arc me, as he points to some sign behind him, "I only do what they tell me!" I said well sir the website even says $27... he then says "are you sure you even looked up the right course?!??" Like in some idiot that cant use "the" google. So I pulled up the next available tee time they had on their website that was for 12 minutes later and it was.... drum roll... $27!!!! Anyway, I know its only $7, but that course isnt worth much more than $25 as it is and when your website and the person on the phone quotes me a price, I expect to pay that price. Thats all. We paid the $35 since we were already there and pressed for time but I will never go back. I play north of 200 rounds a year and there are plenty of courses to choose from. Ironwood lost this $27, or $35 or whatever it is for good as well as my playing partners that day. I would not recommend this course for a variety of reason but this bein the main one.

Course is good and prices cant be beat. The main starter Or guy behind the counter is an idiot. Worst starter Ive ever had. Inconsiderate to customers and constantly bumbles over what he is saying. Rest of the staff are awesome!! Friendly and nice. If ownership would get rid of the angry old man who acts like hes doing me a favor for me visiting their establishment during the short season of golf we have in Michigan

Friendly staff, good prices. The course has some disrepair (not bad) and the ranger and beverage cart need to come around more, but a nice place for a round of golf.

GREAT course for the money. Green lush fairways, well manicured greens, and beauty abound. Thus has been a long time favorite of mine and my dads for many years.
