So we went to see Finding Dory and I have to say the experience was great! You can buy online from the theater and pick up the tickets. We sat in Theater 1 and the screen is nice especially for a digital film. Surround was top notch. What makes it a great experience was the seats. First, the seats are assigned. Doesnt matter if your a couple minutes late, they are yours. They are electric recline and very wide. Arms of the chair are wide and soft. Seats are comfortable. There is plenty of room to get up and go by people between seats even when reclined. The kids, at ages 5 and 6 had no problem seeing over the high backs of the recliners in front. The staff is friendly and the place is clean in the lobby and in the theater. Not sure about the restrooms because we didnt use them. The A/C was not to cold and actually comfortable. Yeah, it was a couple bucks more expensive than some other theaters but cheaper than Salisbury and really reasonable for the extra comfort. There arent many theaters this nice around and very few options by the shore. It still looks like the old theater from twenty years ago on the outside, If you are down for a family movie, I highly recommend it! Edit - As always the 5 year old always goes to the restroom in the middle of a movie.

What a wonderful surprise! Wasnt sure what to expect? We went to see "The Finest Hours" because it was not showing at the Salisbury Regal Theaters. Didnt really know what to expect when I went on line and found that you had to reserve a time & "SEAT?" And then I thought that the Cinema must be really, really small with so few seats?? When we got to the Cinema, it was absolutely awesome! The most comfortable seating ever! Loved not be cramped in a small seat for the 2 hr. movie! The first time, that my husband & I sat through a 2 hour movie and our legs felt GREAT!!! And we had lots of space to ourselves - not smushed with everyone beside, in front and in back of us! This is similar to the "FIRST CLASS" Seating of the Airplane Industry. Economy is the normal theatre seats! AND YOU Sit in an oversized, clean, leather recliner!!!! Awesome Experience! Plan to see all our movies at the Fox Sun & Surf 8 Cinema!

If Ive learned anything about going here, its that you shouldnt find a different theater based on outside appearance. Ive been here twice and passed it multiple times when Ive been in Ocean City, and I wouldve never guessed it was a movie theater. It looks like an old warehouse of some type was shut down, and then someone decided to make it a movie theater. And I say that in the best ways. The staff is nice, the theaters have nice red leather ELECTRIC recliners, which Ive never seen in a theater before, theres a large variety of food and drinks and candy, you reserve seats online, the restrooms are cleaner then any theater restrooms Ive seen, and its just overall a really nice place. That being said, I do plan on returning next time Im in OC.

I didnt think it would be as bad as what other reviews said, but it isnt far from what it actually is. its very expensive for hard seats that dont recline and dont even have cup holders. the room is small enough that even the back row you need to look up at the screen. cramped neck. and the bathrooms are very out dated and need some serious help. the cost should be like a second viewing theater. that said, the staff was very nice and helpful. thats the only thing that brought the stars up to 2. if youre just taking young kids to a kids movie, its okay just expensive. my son and I with popcorn and soda for a early afternoon was $35.

Omg Im never going to Rehoboth Midway theater again here you have recliners that go all the way back and you can basically get so comfortable like youre at home watching the movie I love this movie theater the seating is great the only thing is you just cant walk up and buy tickets you have to reserve your tickets online but other than that is pretty great thats why I give it a four stars just because of the way you have to buy your ticket if you can also buy your ticket straight front up then youll be great but you have to preserve your seating online and you also get to pick where you want to sit at in the theater

This place can be very busy during the season, recommend getting your tickets online prior to showtime. This theater has super high quality seating with electronically reclining chairs and is the most comfortable movie experience Ive ever had. Service is very friendly and fairly quick, even when they are faced with crowds. Every time Im there its always neat and clean and you can tell the employees really care about their business. As someone who has lived in major cities most of their life and been to probably hundreds of theaters, this one is up near the top of my list.

This is a movie theater that I have been frequented for over 25 years when my family make our annual trip to our vacation time share in Ocean City. With the rise of megaplex and trendy movie theaters Sun & Surf 8 was left behind w/ dated seating until it was acquired by Fox Theaters a few years ago. The simple improvement which is a big plus was the replacement of the old theater style fold down seats with Leather Electric Reclining Seats which were very comfortable. You have plenty of elbow room and you can reserve the seat you want as well and I like it.

Wow! Has the inside of this theater changed! My 1st visit to this theater was in 1975 when I saw JAWS! It was just your typical cramped run of the mill theater Today 9/29/2016, it has electric La-z boy recliners w/foot rests, cup holders and plenty of room and comfort! People can easily get up and walk past you without getting up and playing jack-in-the-box. Gives me a reason to want to go back. The exterior hasnt changed a bit, still looks like an old warehouse, but who cares. Im going back tonight to see another movie (its been raining all week :-/).

Google asker me "What did you like about it?". Maybe...maybe the reclining chairs. Otherwise, nothing. It costs almost twice the regular cost if a movie anywhere else in the world, despite being a paying customer when the theater is only 30% full, you cannot buy a ticket/pock a seat where there is ONE seat space between you and the next person and finally you can hear the movie in the next theater over. I strongly do not recommend this place unless you enjoy anyone of the above mentioned problems. Waste of money.
