Wonderful course. At 6400 yds mens tee, quite a challenge. I learned to finally back down to a reasonable yardage. Unless you are shooting an honest 90 most times out to golf, most of the population should be at the gold tees and you will enjoy the course SO much more (tee it forward per Arnold). Value is why I rated it 5 star. My own pace of play on a Tuesday is another 5 star, as the course was wide open during the day. The traps were all raked and prepared, the fairways a bit shaggy but hect, the grass grows before your eyes this time of the year. I would play much more often if I wasnt an hour away. Nice variety in design, and very easy to walk. Dont get why everyone loves to drive a cart. One of the more complete Pro shops you will ever see, with affordable prices. Spacious clubhouse for chilling out afterwards. A winner in my book. Have played it on and off for 15 years, I see a few changes during that time, all for the good. Great work on the grounds guys!

I have played Oakmont Green three times this month and the course is in excellent shape, especially considering how cold its been. The course has a nice variety of holes to test your game. The front side is considerably longer than the back side. The third and fourth holes play parallel to railroad tracks, which is pretty unique. Both holes demand accuracy off the tee. Holes 8 and 9, a 570 yard dogleg left par 5 with water to carry on your approach shot and a straightforward 449 yard par 4 into the wind, are daunting holes. Their greens are fairly fast, nearly as fast as The Bridges greens. This course is a great value. They have fantastic winter specials. I highly recommend it.

A tale of two recent outings to this course, both on weekdays. The first was the day of the club championship about a month ago, early morning prior to the club group going out. Course was in superb condition, greens rolling true, reasonable pin positions. Loved it. Fast forward to yesterday, again early morning, prior to Thursday mens league play. Course was packed with non league folks, play was extremely slow. Greens needed rolling, rough was very deep. Overall not nearly what this course regularly offers in terms of condition. Still, great layout, nice test for the better golfer.

Played this course on Saturday 5/9. Had no problem getting a tee time and was a little scared about the ease of getting one and didnt expect much out of the course. After a couple holes I couldnt believe that this course is not packed every single day. Super fun layout. Long, but not obnoxiously long. You could also tell that the grounds crew takes a lot of pride in this course. The only improvement i would suggest is that they install a net between the driving range and hole #9. This was well worth the 45 minute drive from Baltimore and I will certainly be returning.

Great prices, great staff, great course who could ask for more. My first time playing this course and what a treasure it is. The greens are in fantastic shape. I think this course was especially designed for the weekend players, very forgiving. This will be one of my go to courses. I highly recommend this beautiful course to everyone.

a beautiful golf course, easy to get a tee time, and VERY cheap with the online coupon. had a free morning before a conference and rode out with a friend, 50 bucks for the two of us including cart. Tough water placements if youve never played the course before. I definitely reccomend. Very friendly staff as well.

Course was great. VERY slow play on front and 3 never asked if wanted to play through. No one in front of them. Impolite older players. Second nine great. Actually was an hour faster! Overall a good experience. Bar staff

Great course and great people. Played there for years now my grandsons are learning the game through their youth program. Their Mom and Dad play 9 while the kids learn. Just played their first round together.

Usually not too busy, unless a tournament is scheduled. Nice driving range and putting green. Pretty wide open and not too hilly, which is great for the average golfer, like myself.
