I went to the lanes with my daughters aged 5 and 9 and a family friend age 6 who are first time bowlers. The place is a great facility. Checking in was great. The man behind the counter was very helpful – a Ten for service. He even came to the lane to make sure we were ok. Where do you get that kind of…kindness these days. But as we were checking out our ticket was taken over by an elderly lady wearing a manager’s badge. When she rang up the receipt she charged me the adult price for everything. The man who had been so helpful started to prompt her that her billing was wrong. He said, looking at what she had rung up, “did you get the shoes there were...” Before he was cut him off by the Manager who said “I got it”. She then completed the sale and charged me full price. Our bill came to $50.37 for seven games and shoes. When I got the receipt I looked them over and asked what the price was and if we had received the children’s discount. The Manager pulled $1.50 out of the drawer and shoved it my way saying I hadn’t told here they were children’s shoes. I didn’t feel like arguing with somebody’s Grandmother who felt it worth it to filch a buck and a half. I just responded considering the shoes were on the counter in front of me, my hand was on them and the other attendant had prompted her before she rang them, that I really thought that it would be apparent. But that’s just me. I did however, asked if $1.50 was really worth alienating the clients? She said nothing. The rest of the staff and lanes are absolutely excellent. However, if a manger serves you - check your change at Laurel Lanes.

I dont know where most of these reviews come from however not only I but many of my friends have had serious problems with the people running the place. I believe the old man who is the owner of this franchise or lanes is very rude and needs to take some developmental and some managing classes. He is very rude and the place is run down. They close the concession stand one hour before closing and when asked to get a drink they refused. We went to the convince store right across the street and got 1 red bull and 2 20 oz sodas. We got a plastic cup from the people cleaning up the convince stand and he threw us out for bringing in outside drinks. I understand, running a business like I do, about wanting your customers to consume your own products. It brings more revenue for your company, but to close down the convince stand 1 hour before closing and throwing out the customers who are thirsty? Thats crazy. There arent many places around except in Odenton and Columbia. Both of which are far away. Be prepared and stay far away from the old man behind the counter, he is very rude and cranky. He should retire.

Very dissatisfied! I actually had fun with a friend. My dissatisfaction was when two of my very new bowling balls came back with long black streaks on them I explained to a worker that they needed to clean the belts that returned the balls. He gave me a awful look and a attitude I wont be returning to this bowling alley based on the way I was treated. I wasnt mad. I was simply hoping they fixed it. But instead I got attitude and the guy just blew me off. I will recommend other bowling alleys to my friends as well.

We had a Birthday party (teen) All star package at 2:30 and it was great! All guest didnt arrive on time and the staff were very understanding and allowed our party to start a little later. The Manager & staff were very professional. The food was great and came out in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.

I called to make enquire to reserve whoever that picked up the phone was very rude asking to come in or go online to that. I told him theres no information about pricing that when he mumbled the info. This people should never get a raise until they have good turn around.

Tonight i had reservation for 20 ppl, 6 to 8pm that got screwed up by corporate. Deon (GM) and his team of Sam and Sean took care of me. Offered me options to make my bowling party better. They were awesome very patient and understanding plus accommodating.

Had a birthday party supposed to be 4 till 6 didnt get lanes till after 4. Had no duck pin balls finally was able to start bowling at 430. Food finally came out at 525. Its only getting one star because I cant do negative stars.

This bowling center has become a lot better since its renovation period. The staff here can be hit or miss but most of the time its perfectly fine. Cosmic Bowling is great and so is "Sunday Funday" with great deals on bowling.

Went on Sunday evening when it is $2.50 a game. Staff is friendly. Our lane was in good condition, but customers next to us were having several lane malfunctions and computer scoring errors.

A curious mix of old and new. Lanes (10 pin & duckpin) are in good shape but the computers are 70s vintage. Sundays after 6pm is the best time to bowl on the cheap and without the crowds.

Weve been here a few times, never had a problem getting a lane. There is plenty of parking and its a clean facility. The lanes are good and they have a modern sound and video system.

Great place! Saturday nights its pretty empty if you have a crew unlimited bowling from 11 til close. I get there at 10:45pm.
