To us an event must encompass many things to be successful. First and foremost it must be a great, fun event, but it must also take place in a beautiful location. Our event at Forest Lodge met both criteria, and many more. With over 200 people attending our event, Forest Lodge offered something for everyone’s taste. Working with Marci and Charles was a smooth process. They made sure that we knew what would happen the day of the event and made sure that we had everything we needed. The staff at Forest Lodge is superb. Everyone made sure that everything was set up when our guests arrived. From the basketball courts to the food, everything was ready to go when the very first guest arrived. Although we shared the venue with more than one group we still had a sense of privacy which our guests enjoyed. The large building where the food was sold worked seamlessly and there were never any lines or waiting for food. In addition, we requested a DJ and he was fantastic. He knew what type of crowd he was entertaining and did a phenomenal job. Forest Lodge made planning our event easy and worry-free. Marci and Charles were always available when we had a question and were very quick to understand the type of event we needed to deliver. Forest Lodge exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to go back!!!

My company held our corporate picnic at Forest Lodge this past weekend as it has done for the past 15 years. This is my first review, though its long over due. The facilities at this event space are spectacular and perfect for a large or small corporate gathering. The pool area is kept in tip top shape and the pool itself was impeccable. The grounds are maintained beautifully and management seems to be on top of their game with being sure that the surroundings are consistently kept up. I cant seem to find fault, even after many years of attending these gatherings. I would highly recommend Forest Lodge to any company in search for a fabulous outdoor venue.

Wow, still such an awesome place after all these years. (been coming here since I was a child). . . Great All-American style picnic menu, and the bbq ribs, amazing. (Even tried to bribe kitchen staff for the recipe!!!) Such beautiful wooded grounds, with so many fun outdoor sport areas and well planned activities. . . Even the summer heat is no big deal with the in ground pools to cool off in. . . Not many places I can think of that you can incorporate fun, great food, and relaxation into any event. My boys cant wait to go back for the next one!!! Thank you Forest Lodge for a most excellent day. . .

Went to a Company event over the summer, I must say it was really GREAT! This place has been around for a very long time. The food, staff and grounds were really impressive and the proprty was very clean. There are not a lot of places like this around anymore, and I must say it gives you that "Old School" fun atmosphere with plenty of things to do. If you are looking to do some type of Company event, definitely check this place out! We are also looking into doing a team builder early this Spring in their indoor facility which also looks awesome

My experience with FOREST LODGE, has always been FUN & WONDERFUL!! Ive been to many picnics there, and currently planning a Family Event taking place this Summer. Theyre a bit pricey, but very much worth it, you can always find a package that works for your budget, for your specific event. Forest Lodge is ALL INCLUSIVE, and the food is DELICIOUS (broad variety of Food Packages). GAMES are Awesome (broad variety of Game Packages). So when planning your next event, think of Forest Lodge, they will make sure you get the Royal treatment.

I would like to thank Forest Lodge Catering Hall for hosting our annual company picnic. The food and ambiance was nothing short of EXQUISITE! It was also accompanied by a friendly, and extremely accommodating staff, who went out of their way to ensure their guests received the best of service. Since my experience, I have recommended Forest Lodge to a close friend who is planning a wedding next fall. She went for a tour and loved it as well! Thank you again!

I have been to Forest Lodge for numerous events and every one of them is outstanding..the grounds are nonstop fun - mini golf, pools, playgrounds, extensive greenery - beautiful and the newly renovated indoor wedding venue pours out onto a magnificent patio - highly recommend the food as well! Never had a bad meal there whether it was the chicken wings or chicken marsala...

Great food and picnic area fun for the whole family!!! Every time we come here my company always enjoys it and cannot wait until the next year too come back. Mini gulf , pool, ping pong they got it all. The staff is always very helpful and will get you what you want when you want it. Would recommend too anybody !!!!

For years, my local union has hosted a family picnic at this location, and every year its been a success. This is due to the great locale, the friendly staff, and the abundant amenities for the children. We, the Newark Fire Department, look forward to Forest Lodge every year.

Very nice looking venue for all sorts of gatherings. Indoors and outdoors seating. Very competent and friendly staff. Ample parking for large groups In a country atmosphere and yet sophisticated setting. Nice dancing floor inside, large gazebo outside.

I went to a picnic here for work about a week ago and absolutely loved it! Between all the sport activities and the pool option it felt like you where at a resort for a day. The food was delicious with many options to choose from as well.

I went to see The British Invasion and had a great time. The band was great and the people were so nice. The set up of the main room and the full bar area made it easy to hang out and not be too crowded. I look forward to the next event!

Took the kids there for a church event and even tho it was blazing hot out, it wasnt that bad at all. They had a lot of things to do there. The pool was the first thing we did of course. Great place to have an event.
