My first time ever at the escape room was kind of a mess originally the game master who we met with was rude and disrespectful. After the next lead took over me and my group ended up making the most of our experience and actually really enjoyed our time their with the other lead. Following that I decided to try out the escape room once more and I booked an event for today actually at 7:00 pm. Do to unforeseen circumstances I wanted to have it changed to the 8:30 pm slot which is still fully open and available or potentially rescheduled for another day , but the current members on staff chose not to reach out even after several voicemails were left. I even sent an email to the customer service and have yet to receive any type of reply. The lack of feedback from the current manager on staff, the current response time, and my past experience with this company have truly made my experience with American Escape Rooms a poor one and it is a place I will no longer recommend to anyone in the UCF area.

Edit to my previous review: Great Customer Service. My last experience was unfavorable due to some issues with timing and a problem with another guests group arriving late to my groups game. Having escaped several games here in the Orlando/Kissimmee area I was surprised by several elements of disorganization at this location. What I was not expecting was having the owner directly responded to me through email almost immediately after my review. He was courteous, apologetic and was genuinely interested in hearing about my less than stellar experience. I have rarely received such immediate and thoughtful customer service from any establishment. I greatly appreciate the time he took to follow up with me, hear my concerns and explain how these issues will be dealt with in the future. Thanks to their customer service I believe when I return to play their other games I will have a greatly improved experience.

Escape rooms are always a good challenge for those who like puzzles and thinking their way through a situation. You enter a room and are given basic instructions then are left for an hour to figure your way out. Before starting you watch 2 videos as well as get some general advice from a game master. Having done other escape rooms our group knew what to expect and could fill in the blanks from there. Some of the puzzles are more challenging than others and may require some abstract thinking. Be sure to look for deals on admission on sites like Groupon.

Horrible experience my co worker bought a groupon for 5 but only had 3 people to use it. She was not able to book for the time she wanted to go which had availability for three people because the groupon was for 5 people. Does this make any sense???? I was told we can only book rooms that had availability for 5 with the groupon even if we only have 3 people going. NEVER AGAIN. Also dont expect to get through to anyone when you call if you have any questions the phone is ALWAYS busy. P.S. We were reviewing this facility for possible future company events.

Ive been to many escape rooms and this is by far one of my favorites. There is a wide selection of challenging rooms all with great themes that really set the mood. I brought some friends and had an absolute blast. There is a good combination of puzzles here. Some require you to solve simple math problems, some require trial and error, but all puzzles require quick thinking and the ability to work under pressure. Though we were unable to escape (which is a first for us) we had a lot of fun and will be going back soon!

Love this place! Ive done about a dozen escape rooms and I definitely enjoyed my experiences here (3 out of 4 rooms so far). The staff has been extremely friendly and accommodating. Some very interesting unique puzzles. The prices are good, and when Ive gone theres been opportunities for fantastic discounts if you purchase tickets for a future game, right after you complete your room. I would certainly take advantage. Also loved that its in a plaza with food/drink/tea options so you can make an evening out of it!

Very fun escape rooms at a better value than the other places in town. They have clever puzzles and interesting themes for each room and a friendly staff who are happy to help if anyone gets stuck. My family has done 2 of the rooms and we will be going back to do the rest. Its great entertainment that is out of the house, off the screens and fully interactive.

Very exciting challenge! My wife and I were not able to escape within an hour but we had fun. We should have used more clues earlier to possibly escape. The staff was helpful and polite! I would strongly recommend this for a group vs couple but it can be done. 5 stars for American Escape Rooms!

The rooms are a good size and comfortably fit up to 8 people. The staff were friendly and tried to make everything fun. Everything was clean. Had loads of fun. Minor issues like room not entirely reset and communication problems kept 4 stars but would definitely return.

This was my first experience in an escape room. The theme was great. The area where is located is a little far from tourist areas, so its best if you are a resident of the area. The staff is very friendly and even though we were late, they let us finish our room.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive, and quick to respond. The experience was great, with clean rooms and a good, fun challenge. They offer a return discount on your price, and it is a good deal. I would definitely come here again.

We were in the Mad Professors room, took my husbands for his birthday. My daughter & her boyfriend went also. Our first time doing something like this, the room was kind of hard but fun. We Escaped with 3 Minutes Left. They give you 5 clues, we used 4.

We had a team of 5 that went on Christmas Eve day and had a blast! We choose the Cold War Crisis room. It was very well put together and very challenging. Our moderator was awesome an were already trying to plan our next visit. Highly recommended.

Awesome escape rooms, challenging and well themed rooms that everybody can participate in. Great customer service, and friendly staff make the experience enjoyable. The mind boggling room was kind of boring and not well themed in my opinion tho.

Lots of fun and intrigue. Went as a family with our 30s sons. We had a blast. Very challenging trying to figure out how to escape. Great family activity. Staff were great. Go early so you are not stressed.

As an experienced escape room enthusiast, this is one of my favorite locations! My favorite room was Mind-boggling. It is super close to UCF, so there are a bunch of places to eat near by after playing.

Went here for a birthday celebration. Was worth the price thanks to Groupon but in terms of escape rooms it was lacking. Fun, but no repeat value with the individual rooms.
