This place really needs to hire people that want to work for their company! A group of my friends and I went last night and were treated absolutely terrible by almost every employee we had to speak with. We got in the line to bowl and was told about the fun pass it sounded like a good deal so we all purchased it and asked for two lanes to bowl first. So then an hour later my buzzer went off and I went to the counter and the guy at that section of the counter said I had 5 mins to get my group together or they give the lanes away. In that huge ass crowded building Im supposed to be able to run around and get everyone if not end up waiting again?! Then we were given the wrong receipt so when we got in line to order shoes we were questioned if we purchased shoes. I gave her the receipt not knowing it was the wrong one and she responded, "the receipt just has a total not what you purchased, do you know if you paid for shoes?" I told the girl I told the guy who helped me Devin that we wanted to bowl first and he already put us on the waiting list. She then yelled at Devin and said, "omg thats why youre supposed to give them the other receipt!!" She shouldve handled that differently! Like pulled him aside and asked him politely. As an employee there and a list of prices behind her I dont see why looking at the amount we paid per couple she couldnt already know what we were charged with. We get our shoes then not 1 of the 4 people at that counter tell us which lanes are ours. After bowling we went to sign up for their gravity ropes activity. We spoke with Ernesto probably the rudest employee of the night. Right when we walked up to the counter he didnt even ask if he could help us or even smile. I asked if we can sign up for the gravity ropes activity and he said we cant let you on if youre drunk. I did have ONE drink in my hand but it was just me of the 12 people we had in our group who did and was drinking. How can he assume someone is drunk by seeing a full beer in my hand? If he chose his words wisely maybe he couldve more politely said, "Main Event has a policy that after you started drinking you cant participate in this activity" He didnt even look me in my eyes as he spoke to me. He had his cell phone out and was texting. So I requested that everyone else be signed up then since I was "drunk" and he got up and walked away and left the prize desk unattended. We left and came back and asked to be signed up for laser tag he then said it starts at 1:15 it was 12:30 so I told him ok thats fine sign us up. He didnt even ask how many were attending he just counted who was with us and put us down for 8. I told him wait but theres 12 of us he then sighed and said, "ugh hold on" and did the transaction over. Come on if you wouldve just asked you wouldnt have even have to do that. Then we go get vests to play laser tag and we asked the girl if we can leave our box of pizza at the desk there and she said, "I dont care" and walked off. I dont know what type of training these KIDS go through to work there but its obviously not working out. Main Event should hire people that are okay communicating with others, polite, and have a general understanding of what their responsibilities as an employee are. Im sorry these teenagers dont like working Saturday nights but its what theyre getting paid to do. People go to Main Event to enjoy themselves not be insulted and treated like dirt. Why pay for that type of treatment? This is the last time I go to ANY Main Event.

If I could give this sales team and mgmt team zero stars I would. They are terrible. Every time I spoke with someone there, I was given different information re: their party rooms. It wasnt until I spoke with the General Manager of this location TODAY, that I was told that in order to host a party, in one of their party rooms (which is what I had been planning w/the sales dept for 2 weeks) during the month of December you would have to pay ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS PER HOUR!!!! You read that correctly --> A GRAND, 1K, A RACK, just for one hour in the party room, during the month of Dec. This is BEYOND RIDICULOUS. I can deal w/an up-charge for holiday space but going from $100 p/hour for the room rental in Nov. to a required minimum of $1,000 revenue p/hour is absolutely ludicrous. Prior to being told the min. revenue p/hr, I was told in one of my many convos w/the sales team, that I could no longer book a bday party for my son in a party rooms bcs it was TENTATIVELY being held for a companys xmas party. Its upsetting to hear that even though youre ready, willing and able to do what needs to be done to book a party with them, you get pushed out, bcs a company MIGHT want the same day for their holiday party as you. Didnt I call first? Havent I already given you guys all my info? Isnt my money green too? Apparently not. I am beyond disappointed this places service. This holiday up-charge is not listed ANYWHERE on their website or on any of their informational packets in house. Also, it was obvious that Beya, the sales rep who I had spoken with several times about my booking, had no idea that holiday pricing was something they did, as she never didnt bring it up to me until today. When she did finally tell me about there being a $1,000 min. she explained it as a min. for each party - NOT PER HOUR. Main Event makes a lot of money from moms and dads who bring their kids there to play. Unfortunately though, if your child has a bday in Dec. dont expect to host it in one of their party rooms unless youre a Corporation or mega wealthy and you can pay their exorbitant fees. Screw this place and their company only available party rooms. Zero stars.

We decided to go bowling on a Saturday afternoon at 4pm. When we arrived, there was a 30-45 minute wait for a lane, which was really no big deal. We paid for 2 hours of bowling and took our little light-up coaster to wait it out. After about 15 minutes, we were called, which was great! They assigned us Lane 25. We get down to our lane and there was a group on it already. We trek back to the desk and they reassign us to Lane 24. After removing all the balls that were left over from the last group and getting set up, we noticed theyd only put an hour on our lane. We paid for 2, so we trekked back up to the desk to have them fix the mistake. A little over an hour into bowling and 1 frame into the current game, staff comes up to ask us to move to a different lane because they had a party reserved. "Totally our fault, were really sorry and well add some additional time to your account but we really need you to move to Lane 16". That additional time for yet another inconvenience? A whopping 10 minutes -- about the time it took to gather all our stuff, move down and remove all the balls that had once again been left by the last group. In the midst of all of this, we had children running across lanes in front of bowlers. This is not a complaint about Main Event, more about the type of people that frequent this establishment. Next time we decide to take our family bowling, well be driving to Stafford to go to an actual bowling alley. Hopefully we wont have to deal with unorganized teenage workers and children running helter skelter. Bowling etiquette, parents, look into it! Never again.
