The Palace is a great theater, though we Wichitans are often spoiled by the staggering quality of the Warren Theaters. Its a second-run theater that also features a different cult classic every week. As of this review, a ticket is $3.00 ($1.00 on Tuesdays!) and concession costs are in line with other theaters. CASH ONLY, the ATM fee at their ATM is steep. Good quality popcorn; all the theaters have recently been converted to digital projection, greatly increasing picture quality. Ive been in many theaters throughout the US that charge $8-15 that dont even come close to the quality of the Palace.

The staff here is so friendly! Its nice to be able to see a movie before its gone forever sometimes I get so busy with life I dont find time to go to the theatre and before I know it the movie I wanted to see is gone. Jasmine in perticular is always so nice and one of the more professional workers there for her age. She deserves a raise! The popcorn is always fresh. The floors are always looking clean. The bathrooms are pretty good. All around a good theatre for the price of it.

Great price and it gives you the ability to see a movie on the big screen after the crowds die down! Love this place but I drove all the way across town today to see a movie that was listed on line and on their marquee only to find out they had substituted Raging Bull! Ok, I dont mind seeing movies a few weeks old but to sub one from the 80s and just surprise customers with it... come on, I expect a bait and switch from a used car salesman...

$1.50 movies, all day, every Tuesday... cant beat that. Cash only, here. The movie I saw had technical difficulties; the bulb/screen kept flashing, going black. They eventually stopped the movie. And took about 10 minutes to fix the problem. Other than that, and the fact people still insist on bringing toddlers and babies still on the bottle to action adventure movies with loud, booming sound effects, you cant beat this place.

The movie quality is great! I love that its not overwhelmingly packed like the other theaters on a Saturday night! The prices at the snack station are outrageous. Its hard for me to buy a bowl of popcorn for $7 when I can get the same amount for around a $1. Popcorn is not the only item way over priced here, but if you fill up before hand the cheap movie tickets and Tuesday night special are a great reason to come here!

Awesome digital movie projection with full audio here. Theres always a parking spot in the lot, and you are surrounded by restaurants to eat at. However, the restroom stalls are carved on, they have a no drink policy, and the fountain water is warm when you drink it. Overall, they have nice movies, a nice location, but the restrooms and fountains need fixed.

Discount movies at a discount. Just go on Tuesday and its even cheaper. Why a combo here is a better deal than at the rest of the Warren theaters makes no sense. Its the same popcorn and drinks. If they had spread the seats out a little they would be able to put lean back seats in. Rigid back seats are terrible for long movies.

The Palace is a great place if you are hanging out with friends and need something cheap to do. And its a cool chance to see movies a 2nd time on the big screen for cheap..however if you are looking for quality look somewhere else...Sticky floors, and old style theatre...also the buildings ugly pink color is a turn off!

It is a good price, the concession stand is still expensive. I was surprised how, when I stood up after the movie, that my back hurt?? I didnt know that was a thing, but I guess Ive been too spoiled by the Warren to appreciate comfortable seating. Cash only, I believe. Throwback movies are cool to see.

walked out of bad grandpa went to get money back but was told wasnt in 30 min time frame. well the movie was listed as 420 we walked out at 511 do we not take into account there are ads and coming soon attractions so really have 10 min to decide if you like the movie or not. this was bull.

Smaller, second run theater. Great for if you missed a movie in the main run theaters, and still want to watch it on the big screen. Lobby and screen areas were clean, and staff was friendly. Dont expect a huge screen, or the best sound, but still worth the great price of $3.50 a ticket.

The palace is a great place to go if you want to cheap movie, however you also have to put up with small crowded seats, and more noisy children in the theater area. I also noticed there was quite a bit of popcorn on the floor, however to me the price made this movie theater worth it.

Great place to watch movies once theyve left first-run theatres. Cult Classics is also a great program, so you can see older films like Terminator and The Breakfast Club on the silver screen again :D I think only a few theatres here are digital, so sometimes you get lines or blur.

Great prices on tickets, staff are friendly. Cash only, no cards, so be prepared though they do have an ATM machine on site. Seats not terribly comfortable and place looks a bit dirty/run down especially compared to Warren theaters, but you cant beat the price.

We have the best theatres Ive ever been to. This is the discount theatre on Tuesdays tickets are $1.50!!!! I know that is incredible. Fresh popcorn, clean theatres with really nice seats. The Warren franchise has all we could desire in movie experiences.

Great price! Tuesday the ticket price is $1.50 which is perfect for my precious little family. I have a 5, 3, & 1yr old.. And the price is the best! It is clean and the staff are nice. The movies are great you just have to wait longer to see the feature.

Cash only. It is fairly packed due to the low rates. The movies it shows are roughly the same in the more expensive theaters. The seats are less comfortable than I would like. If you have a large family or are on a budget it is a good value.

A cool place to still watch a movie in the theater but not have to pay the full price of a theater. You just have to wait a little bit. Sometimes it is worth it sometimes it is not. Just depends on the movie you are trying to go see.

Staff very unfriendly. Never heard of paying tax on movie ticket. Still ticket cheap but consessions are over priced. If i go back it will be on a tue when tickets are even cheaper. Otherwise will just gobto theater closer to me

This theater was built specificly as a glamorous old school atmosphere theater for second run movies. While a bit aged, its still a wonderful place to catch big screen movies at bargain prices, particularly on Tuesdays.

My only real complaint is the fact its cash only. Other than that I love gong to the palace to see movies! They may not be the most fancy facilities but for the price you cannot beat it. It always seems kept clean as well.

Large seats, lots of legroom so your seat doesnt get kicked from behind. Over 18 only after 8pm, grill menu with alcohol - order and be served from your seat before and during the movie. Overall a good experience.
