Good, classy theatre (in a neigborhood featuring plenty of fast-food restaurants). I can always find a pair of good seats, even when Fandango says theyre sold out. Ive never had to settle for anything less than center seats in Rows D or E, even on an opening weekend! The staff has always been polite, helpful, even friendly, which reduces pre-movie tension. Yes, the reclining seats are AWESOME, and never out of order. So are the armrests, thick enough for viewers on both sides to share, and the drink-cup holders are sturdy.. The seats are "plush" by any definition. The floors are carpeted and clean; no "sticky feet" effect. They seem to eliminate all trash between every showing! The variety of soft drinks is amazing. One machine can supply you anything from grape-flavored Sprite to vanilla-flavored root beer, along with the classics. (There are also slushy drinks -- so mix and match!) Theres even a bar (if moneys no object), so if you want an alcoholic drink, you CAN bring it into the theatre. While Im sure we all agree that concession stands are expensive everywhere, I must say the helpings are generous -- a small popcorn is more than enough for one person, and even a MEDIUM soft drink is HUGE! They are always stocked with "butter" oil, plus condiments for your hot dogs (which are usually fresh and tasty). They do need to remove "pretzel bites" from their menu, though, because they never have any (or any kind of soft pretzel). They have both 3-D and standard viewings available. They have plenty of screens, yet you wont get lost in a maze of corridors. The layout is logical and easy to navigate. My only criticisms is, the audio could be stand an upgrade, but since I mostly see action/adventure and superhero blockbusters, the sound is merely toned down to "reasonable" -- I still hear every word. AMC Eastchase 9 is ALWAYS the first place I see any given movie! And in some cases, Ive seen the same film 3 times, at AMC Eastchase 9 every time! If I ever have a negative experience, Ill come back and edit this review. but for now I can give it a big "thumbs up" for years of great moviegoing experiences! I moved out of this neighborhood months ago, but Im happy to keep coming back!
We usually go with a group of people and reserve our tickets much earlier in the day. I would definitely recommend you do that even if its just two people. I would also recommend taking advantage of the rewards program they offer because you get discounts on the drinks (which are those new Coke machines with the touchscreen and means free refills) and for every $100 you spend, they give you $10 off. Thats a free ticket and if multiple people share the same account then yall can spend $100 really fast. The seats are nice and generally the place is clean. Im not sure if its every movie theatre but there seem to be a lot of rude people that come here because we have dealt with people bringing out their phones or talking during the movie thats very disruptive. They have kiosks outside that you can use to pick up your tickets so you dont have to wait in line to buy/pick up the tickets you bought earlier.
This is one of my favorite theaters in the entire city. It has reasonable prices ($5 matinees and $7.50-$10 evenings) but the experience you get from it is what makes this place worth going to over and over again. It has very kind staff, nice bathrooms, good concessions (including one of the new Coke machines), and 9 auditoriums filled with extremely comfy reclining seats (dont forget that this theater has reserved seating). That way, if the movie you end up watching is bad, its relatively easy to fall asleep. The only thing I dont like about this theater is that there is no preshow like First Look, so if I end up getting there for a midnight release 30 min early, I end up staring at a black screen until showtime. Overall, the AMC Eastchase 9 is one of the best theaters in the entire city of Fort Worth/ Arlington and is worth going to on a regular basis. Rating: 9/10
Perfect place to watch a movie. Comfy chairs/lots of room. I always reserve seats online so that we get to sit where we want and you can pre-print the tickets to avoid waiting in line. Tip: Pay attention when selecting online seating (front vs. back of theater) because the screen is flipped on the website. I accidentally ended up on the first row, but a very nice staff member quickly switched them further back for me. I love going to see movies and usually dont go on the first couple of days when a movie is released, but this theater is usually not overly crowded. AMC Eastchase 9 is a wonderful place for adults and for kids.
We drove into town (45 min drive) and picked up a disabled friend to see movie only to find time was wrong on website. It stated 10:05 for Ghostbusters in non 3d format.....but there was only a 10:45 in 3d. Had to pay extra for 3d which we were trying to avoid by choosing a non 3d in the first place. Also hardly any seating outside in hall for my disabled friend to sit. The one bench was occupied by another elderly couple that probably needed it just as much as my friend. We ended up sitting on stairs for over an hour waiting for movie to start. Otherwise clean but oblivious staff.
Overall a great theatre that Ill be visiting again and again. All the seats Ive seen are full-on recliners (extremely comfortable, electric controls), temperature is at that just-right point, and prices are extremely reasonable (Ive paid as low as $5 for some of the showings). Prices for snacks and drinks are, as expected, expensive, but they do have a good selection of items as well as free refills for some of them. Before trying this place out, I hardly ever considered going to see a movie in theatres; now its a no-brainer.
Best place to watch cinematic adventures!! The seats are the best theyre basically super lazy boys!!! And the food is average but the fact that it has bar makes up for the average food, i would highly recommend viewing all movies from here on out!! The staff is friendly And they really maintain the theater very well, i would say that the only draw back is that its a little on the small side as fast add theaters go and they dont not possess an IMAX screening room but very enjoyable all around!
I really enjoyed going here but I really hated that I had to watch Suicide Squad without any popcorn or slushies they didnt even offer me any other special and they put full price on everything even though I have coupons they wouldnt accept it they wouldnt even give me a half of soda because they didnt have the slushie machine working if I go to other AMC Theaters and they would give me anything you have off if something major wasnt working like the soda machines or the popcorn machines
We go to AMC Eastchase frequently. The staff is courteous, ticket pickup is easy, and they are one of the upgraded AMC theaters that have a bar and reclining seats. I would say that this is the cleanest AMC in the area, and on our last trip, my daughter was sick in their lobby prior to the movie - their staff got it cleaned up ASAP and their managers are replacing our passes to see Jungle Book. Thanks so much, AMC Eastchase! You are our favorite theater for so many reasons!
