I cannot even begin to describe how horrible the service was when I visited this place this past weekend. I took my nephew there for his birthday and he was o excited because he wanted to ride the go carts and play laser tag. When we arrived we noticed there were 3 employees standing behind the counter area texting and talking to each other. No one bothered to say Hi how are you doing, what can I help you with?" Once we had purchased 3 wristbands(that cost $65 btw) we tried to use the wrist bands to do the batting cage. There was no visible worker standing behind the desk where you pick up putter or baseball bats; one woman finally slowly walked up the counter and simply said "ya? We then went back inside to play laser tag. The laser tag line had a rope across the front of it. We were unsure of whether it was open or not. There was a guy sitting on the floor texting and after about 30 seconds we asked if he worked there. He stood up and we could see he was wearing a staff shirt. He didnt say a single word to us. he removed the rope and we walked in. He then said "I assume you know how to play laser tag, so I dont need to explain anything to you." That was it. We put on our own laser tag vests and walked in and he started the game. I really wanted this to be an enjoyable experience. The place and overall concept of Adventure Land are really great, but when you go there and dont encounter a single person that seems enthused by there job and the environment that they are in, its nearly impossible to enjoy yourself. I called the manager after I had left to tell him about my experience and was apologetic and offered me a free day to go back, but honestly even if the trip was free, I would never want to go back and experience that level of service again.

We love bringing the kids here! Not the best minigolf, but there is so much to do. The arcade is pretty great, and go karts are so much fun! We recently had my daughters birthday party here, but next time I will be more prepared for the time frame. If you have a party, leave your end time open, and only invite people you know want to have fun! I had a few parents who genuinely had other plans, not realizing the length of the activities. There are always those parents who watch the clock the whole time; just dont invite those, because its a minimum 3 hour event. Next time, I will just order extra food and tokens for the kids who cant stay for the real fun. I wasnt impressed with the hostess. She kept asking me questions like I was supposed to know how the process works. Youre the hostess sweetie, but youre lucky you got a tip at all. My only complaint about this place is the staff. They are mostly teenagers, and many make it obvious they hate their job. Its one of those places we frequent when we have coupons and Groupon discounts. The birthday party was something I will consider doing again, because you get so much more than a decorated table for 2 hours, and the price is very reasonable in comparison to kid venues. Be prepared to do most of the hosting youself, because you basically get a sort of waitress. I say sort of, because we helped serve the kids as well.

I won a $50 MasterCard, or so I thought, out of the Barber Cut Machine. The card was noticeably missing from the container, but I wasnt too concerned. The card looked winnable, and having previously won a Nintendo DSi on November 3rd, I knew the drill was to take whatever prize you won to the front counter to actually receive the goods. After waiting for 15 minutes or so, the manager on duty came back and told me the card wasnt there, and that there was nothing he could do for me, but I could come back tomorrow, and THE manager would be there. So, I understand things happen. I come back the next day. Manager on Duty is there, says they looked at the security cam footage and they saw me take the card out, pocket it, and walk up to the counter to try to con them out of getting another one. I asked to see the tape, which they declined. I wonder if they also saw me give all the stuffed animals and tickets I won away to little kids, because I just like playing the games. I wanted that gift card, though. And dont tell me the manager is going to be there if he isnt. I live in the Rowlett/Rockwall area, and it isnt exactly convenient for me to drive to Coit, twice, to meet someone who cant help me and calls me a thief. The Mini-Golf is fun, tho.

We visited recently twice. First time was noon midweek with one of my sons. I would give that day a 4 star rating. There was no line for the karts, so he and I had a great double ride. Then he had two rides on the junior cars. We played a few arcade games, free tickets were hanging out of the machines, so he cashed those in for prizes. Happy kid! Our second visit was a Saturday night. Brought both my sons. The line for the karts took about 45 minutes because they were using only half the cars. Im guessing the other half were all broken down? The place is set up for two lanes to load while another group of riders is racing. Instead, they were only loading drivers after the race ends using just one half of the loading area. Super inefficient. Well never return on a weekend. Breathing those fumes for an hour was the worst. Disappointing my sons with just one ride (rather than the 3 we paid for) was upsetting for all of us. There was no way we were waiting in that line a second time.

We had an accident on the ho-karts this past Saturday. We were completely stopped at the end of the race and a kid that was not tall enough but was allowed to drive anyway drove into the double Karts lane at maximum speed and hit us From behind. Right after , we went to talk to the manager , My neck was hurting and my husbands ankle as well. He told us we would hear from the insurance this past Tuesday, it is already Friday and Im still in pain, I couldnt move for 2 day and the insurance NEVER called. We decided to call today, giving them time but all we received was the run around. This is absolutely unacceptable, kids ride Karts and accidents happen. Im just glad that it was me and not my kid who had the accident because you guys are totally unprofessional. If I were you I wouldnt let your kids ride the Karts, just so you know if something happend they wont do anything to help. Unbelievable!!

Went on Sunday about 10:37 am. At the Go-Kart track had a very poor experience with the employee in-charge of this item. Looked like he just hated his job or me, or both. Went to bumper boat pool. No one present. After 3-4 minutes of wait and proceeding to go inside to call someone, an employee walks over from the adjacent Go-Kart track. He could see me all this time and their were 2 of them with no customers at their course. But he comes only after he sees me going inside to get someone. Also he wrongly charged me and my son ( 5 yrs) for a ride that we both shared. I had to get that converted to another ride when I went inside. Other employees were great. The bad attitude ones need some good retraining or they should be given back-end work. Overall the place is okay. Nothing out of the ordinary when compared to other similar places.
