Well, even though I am a 2nd year employee here at Splashway, I can assure you that this rating is not solely based on my biased opinion. Splashway was my first job, dealing with my cluelessness yet feeding my ambition with my will to learn and my will to succeed at this new chapter of my life. Splashway graced my feet with kisses from its cool ever-flowing river, leading me into important aspects of adult life such as responsibility, persistence, optimism, and the course of humility. I have grown to love Splashway because Splashway loves me and anybody else who may walk through its gates into the welcoming, open-arms and sunny smiles. The staff here is (by far) the most servicial crew that I have seen to cooperate with each other; the food ranges from quick fried meals at Rays Cafe, to custom crafted meals at Monos Cafe; the restrooms are kept clean and tidy from opening to closing times; and there is a variety of waterslides and attractions to choose from when taking the WHOLE family. Kids will love Splashway, Parents will love to see their kids happy at Splashway, and I certainly love to see this waterpark grow from the love of its guests and its staff into a place where we can all feel as if "We Are Family."

This is a magical place. It is set out in the bucolic countryside and caters to families, with something for everyone. All ages, from 3 to 93 will be able to have a great time here. It is difficult to explain in words how incredible and state-of-the-art this resort-like waterpark is to someone reading reviews. You will need to just get in your car and come experience this first-hand to understand the rave reviews. The staff is bar-none and the uplifting music, great food, terrific options for over-night stays and the safety-first atmosphere is what sets a mothers heart at ease. I am usually reticent to let my young children have much freedom in the water, but this is a place you can relax while your kids have fun! If you dont have kids, then come here and be a kid again. The water slides take your breath away. Overcome your fear of heights and look at the gorgeous views before you have a huge adrenaline rush going down a slide on a tube! If youre still reading this review, stop reading and make your way to this amazing campground! PS. The cabins are clean and new with a delightful upstairs loft!

We had a wonderful time at Splashway. The staff is so nice and friendly, just really over the top helpful. The waterpark itself is perfect for all ages and in great condition. There is not a lot of shade. So I highly suggest renting a cabana (you even get your own waiter). Our family stayed in one of the new cabins in the RV park. They were brand new, clean, great condition. They come with all the necessities like pots and pans, knives, measuring cup, plates and cups, etc. The website shows a "loft" area that has 3 full size beds. We were shocked when we arrived to see the ceiling of the loft area was about 3.5 feet tall. We had to crawl around on our hands and knees to make our beds, try and get dressed, etc. Our 5 year old could not even stand up without hitting her head. In addition, the stairs to the loft are extremely steep. The loft was a major disappointment (and the only reason this review is not 5 stars). We still enjoyed our stay. And would definitely go back.

Went for the first time and I was extremely impressed. Weve been to Splashtown, Pirates Bay, and Moody Gardens Palm Beach and Splashway is my new favorite. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Its not too crowded so the lines for the rides were nice and short. The wave pool is incredible and have the largest waves Ive ever seen in a wave pool. The water everywhere looks so clear, clean, and was extremely refreshing. They even have grills that you can use to do a cookout which I thought was so cool. The parking is free and you can bring in your own coolers and food. There is also food options on-site that looked tasty and affordable. Although its a little far from Houston, the drive is easy and we hardly encountered any traffic there or back. I would definitely recommend this place.

Awesome! I did not realize that I had stuck a glass jar of pickles in the cooler. The young man who checked the cooler took the pickles and brought them back in a zip lock bag. A thunderstorm came up and they asked us to leave the water. It rained and the crew was out there picking up blowing trash. As soon as the summer shower let up, they were emptying trash cans. A visitor I overheard said to his children as the lightning began, "We drove an hour and a half for this?" His response to being asked to leave the water. A staff member replied cheerfully, Just give it a few minutes. We were released to go back in the water after the thunderstorm blew over. Splashway is a family owned, and Christian based. I will be back with friends and family.

Take the kids here all the time. Stuff for kids of all ages. Also, you can bring your own food and drinks if you dont want to buy theirs. A family picnic is always nice thing for us to do when we go. They have slides and attractions for all ages. One of the things i like about Splash way is its a Christian business as they play mostly Christian music and other family friendly tunes within the park. Its never that crowded compared to other waterparks Ive been to and the tickets are much cheaper to other alternatives around Houston. We always go right before opening and have pre-purchase tickets to get in the gate faster as they have a separate entrance for if you already have your tickets. Fun for the whole family.

Great waterpark never overcrowded!! In a welcoming small town! Great mini family vacation spot!! The waterpark has a campgrounds surrounding it which includes cabins and full RV set ups as well as campsites if u prefer a tent instead!! There is a lake for fishing and golf cart rentals as well as a game room and store on site and that is just a few of highlights from a growing list of options that are available for the visiting guests of this continually expanding waterpark and campground located in Sheridan, Tx.! Splashway waterpark is a great choice for the whole family and one that wont disappoint when looking for a relaxing fun filled time with family & friends!!

Got here around 2 on a Thursday with my 9 year old nephew. Was around $70 for both, but you can apply that money toward a season pass which I think if you come twice it pays for itself and I believe there are perks to being a red club member or a season pass holder. You can bring a picnic if you choose. I believe no alcohol or glass is allowed. They have wonderful party cabanas. Anyway, the park isnt super crowded and my nephew and I didnt wait in line hardly at all. Maybe a 5 minute wait. I do wish the small lockers were free, but they are $15, which is my only complaint. We brought a picnic of snacks and drinks, so we didnt visit the concessions.
